This is a great location right by Apex Lake and Costco too! But even more importantly, the Peak has a manager who listens and acts when there's a concern. The office staff is always pleasant. We have an incredible maintenance team that are competent, quick to make repairs, & very nice people. I love our apartment & the large balconies. The common areas are kept clean and I really appreciate the no smoking policy which is enforced. There are activities planned by our Apartment Life team, but there also is a book club, game group, and monthly lunch group. We are beginning our 5th year here and are really glad we found this community.

I previously chose an apartment community in RTP based on location and aesthetic. Little did I know how unhappy and displeased I’d be over the course of the year I lived there. I decided to sell a home I owned for 17 years, it went under contract 3 days after listing and I moved out a week later. I made a quick decision based on logistics and let’s just say things didn’t quite meet my expectations. I took a more methodical approach in considering distance to grocery stores medical facilities etc and when I drove up to the Peaks my first impression was “this looks nice”. While moving in over 3 days, the one thing that stands out is every person I passed made eye contact with and spoke directly to me - this was non existent where I lived for the last year. Quality of life and standard of living are extremely important to me, especially at this stage of my life. I’m very proud to call the Peaks home and I’m looking forward to meeting and getting to know my neighbors (some of whom I’ve already met). I’m one to fully embrace change and I hope to build upon first impressions while I call the Peaks home.

My husband and I are very satisfied with our apartment. We really enjoy the benefits of its location, great community and calmness. I personally love stylish design of public areas and very sophisticated interiors of our apartment. It also great that the stuff is friendly, responsive and helpful. The attention being placed on the beautification of the grounds of the community is reflective of a strong leadership team. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the overall upkeep of the community and this is one of the greatest reasons why we have continued to renew our lease. I am an elderly widow and have lived here for 3 years. I find the entire staff to be great. If you go in the office you are greeted with a friendly smile and offered any assistance needed. The maintenance staff is always available and goes out of their way to be helpful even helping with groceries or making sure a tenant is okay. My family is pleased that I live in this safe and secure facility. I would recommend The Peak to young and older people for carefree living

Do not move here; Most of the amenities are not well maintained / broken. I have paint coming off of my doorway that is obvious; but has not been fixed. Routine maintenance does not exist at this property unless you fill out a maintenance request; and they are closed without fixing

We've lived at The Peak for 17 months and I can honestly say we are extremely happy with our choice of residence. Having sold our home of 18 years and moving here is one of the best decisions we have made. The residents are friendly and the staff goes above and beyond. Not once have we had issues with noise and the grounds and interior buildings are always maintained beautifully. I can't say enough good things about the entire staff at The Peak. Liz is the consumate professional and sets an exemplary example for the staff. A happy staff is a peek into how they are treated by management! Thank you for a great experience!

The Peak for me is a haven, peaceful, nice, clean and has a very friendly, kind population. I will have lived here for 2 years come June 1st. The entire staff is wonderful, always ready to meet my needs. Living alone for the first time I feel safe so much so I have renewed my lease for 15 more months.

We would like to apologize to you that you feel as if the atmosphere of the community is not "laidback". As a Community we strive to provide the best possible living experience and we would like for you to provide some feed back on actions we can take to ensure that you always feel like your concerns are being addressed as well as taken seriously. Meridian at Nichols Plaza is always looking for ways to improve our standard of living. You also stated that amenities are "always broken", can you please contact the office to provide more information about which amenities are currently down or inoperable at the moment? We are unaware of any current repairs pending for any of the amenities at this time. Please let us know which ones are down and we will work diligently to get this resolved. All work orders when completed are marked as so and have the notes written on them of any services done. The resident’s have access to see those notes on the request they have made in their resident portals. If you are not able to see these please let us know and we will work to get that resolved so you can always check the status and responses to your work order. If you would like to have a direct call follow up about any completed services please place that in the notes of your request. The concept of the entire complex is awesome. The clubhouse and pool spaces always seem to be clean. However, the hallways and elevators often have trash and water. A lot of the walls need touch-up or just painting ESPECIALLY right around the elevators.

Great apartment building and community. Great amenities and always clean. Staff is very friendly and responsive. Neighbors are great too. Lots of kids around. Feel very safe in the area at all times. I recommend these apartments to everyone.

This is definitely a place to call home I absolutely love my scenery from my patio, the staff here are amazing thanks to Stacia for a smooth move. The property is well maintained very clean and they plan social events for the residence as well as invite a variety of food vendors to the property. It may seem a little different but I have observed the manager over the maintenance team working faithfully to maintain the swimming poor straight from my patio and he doesnt half step or go around s corners to cut out his work load he works diligently to make sure that area is well maintained and clean. For everyone that come across Meridian at Nichols Plaza in search of a home youve come to the right place.
Have enjoyed my stay at the Meridian of Nichols. Lots of great amenities. Super supportive staff. Great place to live.
