Really like living here, only downside is the AC/heat situation in the winter. The building gets really hot for some reason so be prepared to buy a fan.

The staff is pleasant, responsive, helpful:excellent in general. Maintenance is prompt and efficient. Location outstanding . Amenities are excellent as are views from rooftop lounge, pool and grill. Indoor onsite parking areal plus. We are very happy living here. Minor annoyance: with heating/cooling at change of seasons in spring and autumn.

Front desk staff are very nice and helpful. Lobby area is always clean. Moving in was a smooth process. Lots of great places to hang out and study. Rooftop pool and grill area is nice. Units are high-quality with great views of downtown Evanston and Lake Michigan.

My biggest takeaway is that the amenities here are breathtaking. The rooftop pool is stunning. However, there is an inordinant amount of small fees that add up like a monthly charge for using their portal which is where u pay rent. Because of these charges I give a 4 star. But besides the expenses, great location and living experience.

Great amenities (small gym, outdoor pool, lounge area), but it is quite pricey to live here. In particular, the utilities are pretty costly on top of the rent.

Similar to what Rachel wrote, we experienced a similar issue with the management team at Park Evanston. They overcharge without any notice to the residents and refuse to admit it is their fault. Additionally, they insist that we still need to pay the rent even after the lease is transferred to a different unit (which means we need to pay the rent for both units during that time). They assign a certain plan under AT&T as the only option for the internet. The plan provides low-quality and unstable internet connection at $70/month. Our Wi-Fi has broken four times since last summer, and it costed a huge amount of time to get it fixed each time. Back-and-forth emails with the management cost a lot of time and energy and leave the issue unsolved. The way they communicate is unprofessional, and they never apologize for their mistakes.

The management team has been very responsive to any questions that I had leading up to move-in. Once it was time to officially move-in, my apartment was sparkling clean and they had all my keys/parking fobs prepared.

The apartment and view is beautiful! Also, the staff is super friendly and helpful. However, it does not seem like the apartment was cleaned very well before us moving in.

Really calm neighborhood and staff very kind. Perfect combination for great location such as Evanston and the building location. On the top of the that building is fully renewed with a lot of amenities.

The community has a mix of undergraduate and graduate students, and some families. It's generally a good community, although not very tight knit. The administration makes an effort to put on good community events to bring people together, which are always appreciated!

Fancy and clear apartment. Many good quality event are held sometimes. Management and Security staffs are so nice and kind. Response from them are also quick.

With great security 24/7, The Park Evanston has an incredible gym, study lounge, rooftop, and located very near to downtown evanston. Great access to Northwestern University and great facilities.

Great building in great location with lots of fun events. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby and we love our open floor plan, large windows, and lake view.

I enjoy living at PE. Staffs here are super nice and helpful when residents run into problems. So far the only downside is the occasion construction, trash car, water system noise coming in either very early morning or late night.

I love living here. The location is amazing! The building is terrific. The staff is kind and engaging and I mean everyone from the front desk to the office staff to the staff working so hard to keep the building in such great shape. I’m very happy in 1630!

Roofttop facilities are quite good for barbeque with friends even these days are getting colder. Everything else are perfect!! Gym could be better if there is smith machine.

PE was a great place to live - lots of community events and good amenities. The elevators were always broken when I was there though but other than that it was good!

I think life in Park Evanston is pretty good. Everything is convenient. The PE WIFI lounge is a wonderful place to study, which I like so much, but I hope it won't be such cold in the future.

This apartment have a good view. I love to see michigan lake, Downtown Chicago, and my school every day. Because there is big window, it's like I have a bog portraits of Downtown chicago snd Michigan lake. I enjoy living here, too. Because there's a fitness center there, I can exercise whenever I want to, and because there's a swimming pool and BBQ cooker, I can go there and enjoy it.
