Roaches everywhere like I wish I was over exaggerating but I’m not very disappointed and the building is very old and halls are always dirty no type of awareness
Decent place to live. Want to see how the pool area will be once opened. Great lawn maintenance. Outside kid noise can be loud at times but bearable.

Good community with two dog parks a park for the kids looks a little old but it’s okay. Valet trash so you don’t have to worry bout that and they have daily cleaning so the hallways stay good

Overall it is a good place to live other than the mice and lack of camera surveillance outside the complexes. Also the amount of cockroaches, it doesn't matter how many traps we lay or diatomaceous earth is put down on a daily basis we kill probably 7-15.

I've not had any problems been fantastic so far! The area isn't too bad close to a neighborhood walmart and a super center walmart! Plenty of restaurants around!

The property is poorly kept, but they act as if it’s gold. If you want privacy then don’t live here, as they come in without notice. They will do anything they can to get you kicked out if they simply don’t like you. The office people are extremely rude, and unprofessional. After all this is there job, but I called it home. They will spam the reviews with positive reviews to counter the negative ones, but if you live here you’ll find out the hard way that they believe you have no rights to your dwelling, and everything negative said about this place is true. They have new office employees, but the older office employees had better attitudes, and had been nice. Not anymore these ones are hostile towards tenants. Homeless people get into the building all the time, and people smoke in the stairwell where homeless people leave trash. The water pressure is almost as big a joke as the appliances provided, and there is moldy walls in the halls, damaged floors, and nobody comes to fix anything you report. Some people have AC window units, and some people don’t even get them. If you don’t have to live here I wouldn’t.

These apartments are fantastic. The management is friendly and personable as well as accommodating. I moved here from out of state without being able to see the inside of the buildings in person. The day I moved in I was so happy I chose the Montecito to call home. The view of the mountains from my apartment is incredible. I will be here for years to come

My family and I moved in 2 weeks ago and so far so good. I haven't seen any bugs so far. As long as you clean up after yourself, then your golden. No place is perfect. I will admit, the paint on the cabinets are cheap but what do you expect? It's cute and reasonable in a tight expense. Maintenance is on top on request and friendly, so is the rest of the staff. I haven't met the new manager but I do see her walking around checking in on things.

The apartment & property images on their websites & on rental websites are appealing to they eye and certainly show a fabulous apartment. However, I will tell you, right off the bat, day 1 of moving in (mind you I had to wait about a week or so before actually moving in while they prepare my unit for living), I unloaded my bed into my room and checked the bathroom. This contained roaches in the tub. I initially, didn't sweat it at first because it was only 2. However, I walked into my living room and noticed under my window there was a few more roaches there that scattered under as I approached. As I turned around to look in the kitchen, I immediately seen more roaches scatter under the fridge and counter top. At that time, I realized my BRAND NEW JUST CLEANED apartment is infested with roaches. This is not a coincidence. After reading the reviews (which I failed to do at first because I was super desperate for a place to live.) I learned that the management were ALREADY aware of the roach infestation and have done nothing to resolve the issue. They told me they would "have someone out to spray and trap" the roaches and that they had a schedule for buildings to be done - so they already anticipated an insect problem; enough to have a plan to implement preventative measures but did not disclose this prior to me signing my lease? Had I known this was even close to an issue, I would have NEVER signed a lease. After reaching out to the apartment management, they informed me that they would not be able to refund anything as I have "already moved in" - I have nothing in that apartment but my bed which is probably infested by now. They told me they could get a "pest control" out there to fix the issue. However, there are comments and ratings from over a year ago - pest control does not work. They said they could get their corporate office to look into changing units or location. However, again back at the experiences with current tenants, the infestation is property wide & I will not put my health at risk with these types of infestations. I recommend you don't either. Now I am stuck fighting for over the $1,200 I paid to move into an apartment where I am sharing my space with pests. Look elsewhere.

My heat has not worked since I moved in, and neither have two other of my neighbor’s heaters. There’s roaches, The grass is always covered in dog poop and the area is crime infested. Dog breeds are not monitored, there’s people in my building with a giant rottweiler, and you can hear dogs barking all through out the night. Many people in my building smoke cigarettes in their apartment and the smell travels into mine. 0/10, would not recommend this place to anybody. (there’s not even smoke detectors in my apartment)

I recently left this complex due to both sewage issues and pest issues. A lot of reviews will tell you that with new management this has changed. I can assure you this has not, i really don't want anyone to move somewhere not knowing the reality of the situation. They have German cockroaches Blattella germanica to be specific,it reproduces faster than any residential cockroach and because of this the apartment pest control comes regularly and that does very little to quell the problem. Besides this the apartment has bedbugs which spread quickly from apartment to apartment, you will often see full mattresses by the dumpsters as people have to completely throw away bedding and even clothes and furniture. Beyond that the apartment management does very little to solve these problems upon calling them to address the situation, they are very rude (ive talked to many of the staff). I just want to look out and make sure everyone knows what living here entails.

We moved in last July and could not be happier with our place. We have had 2 work orders and both were done within 24 hours. Impressive office and maintenance staff. The prices are low because the neighborhood has a bad reputation but we havent had any issues.

Can I give less then 1! Dont bother to clean your apartment on move out as you will be charged insanely! Dont listen to the office ladies that say they are an affordable living apartment that only charges cleaning fees on move out because you will get charged 115 for repair even a quarter sized hole in their horrible fo wood flooring and don't bother to go to home depot or lowes to find a replacement piece of the flooring its impossible! Living in this apartment was a nightmare! The heater were stuck on always! The lights blew every week! The cockroaches! Everywhere! No matter how much you clean and their pest control people just stroll around to appear to be spraying but as a stay at home mom I can safely say they never came into my apartment! I would do the laundry list of things the apartment requires before spraying and wait until someone would come but everytime no body came and upon asking the apartment as to why they responded by telling me I must of stepped out when they came because its for sure been sprayed. Dont get me started on their plumbing! Waking up to sweage in your bathtub and sinks is a for sure occurance if you live on the bottom floor in the winter. Also flooding many of the apartments were flooded on the bottom floor also the bottom floors don't have running a.c. or heaters. Also if you have kids dont live here! The amount of times I received a exaggerated noise complaint in the middle of the day while my toddlers would play is horrific! I would be in tears because we couldnt have any friends over without being told off because of the paper thin floor boards! Please listen to me! Move in somewhere else! The pool is bearly upkept you can only go swimming when you see it being cleaned once in a blue moon! Oh I am so happy not to live here any more and so angry they charged me 405 upon move out when I cleaned it better then it was before I bought new oven drip pans and blinds I had the carpets professionally cleaned and I had to wait 2 months after move out to get my deposit refund!

I just went over to the property to see a 1 bedroom that I was contacted about. When I arrived, I was told that there were no 1 bedrooms and that I should try somewhere else. This after having been contacted literally one hour earlier to confirm that I was still coming in for the appointment. I work a 60 hour work week, I don't have time to waste on people with zero consideration for others. Receptionist was rude and dismissive and offered a limp apology.

the management are friendly and are fast at dealing with problems. the hallways and laundry facility's are cleaned and maintained. there is security at night. the pool is always clean. i have liked it so far and haven't had any problems

i lived here since it was hill park and this new management has completely turned this place around. yeah, there's still some problems, but theyve done so much to make this property better. theyre proactive and responsive. maintenance is great. every time i brought them a problem they did everything they can to help.
