While tourists are more familiar with Anaheim's resort area -- home to Disneyland, the Anaheim Convention Center, and Angel Stadium -- residents prefer the downtown district. Downtown Anaheim is located roughly between Lincoln Avenue and East Santa Ana Street, with Harbor Boulevard on its western edge and South Atchison Street to the east. Downtown is the business hub, home to office buildings, shops, restaurants, and the Downtown Anaheim Farmer's Market.
Downtown Anaheim apartments are close enough to the Disneyland resort area for quick commutes -- less than two miles -- but far enough to escape the busy tourist area at the end of the day. It is also a walkable area and a close-knit community, offering a variety of special events and festivals.
