We have been at the Marke in Elmhurst for nearly two years. The property is well maintained and the staff friendly and helpful. Other tenants in the building are friendly and respectful of maintaining a quiet and clean environment. The building if very pet/dog friendly which we really like. The location to the train for commuting could not be better. We rented here for a couple of years between downsizing and retirement and feel we could not have made a better choice.

I’ve moved around a lot for work over the last ten years - this was the best most efficient move I’ve ever experienced. Everyone I have met has been kind, my dog gets all the sweet attention from everyone in the building- Love the amenities and vibes in general.

People are great, neighbors are great (for the most part), management is wonderful, maintenance is always responsive, overall decent place to live. Pre-covid, this is a solid place to live. Post-covid, it's hard to justify rent costs and the lack of amenities.

Whoever designed this place needs to be counseled for poor performance. You do NOT put the AC unit in the master bedroom. It is loud and cuts out the footage.

The Marke makes life pleasantly simple. Their staff is amazingly friendly and helpful, and you are literally a 2 minute walk away from restaurants, grocery stores, and the metra into the city. The apartments themselves are beautifully appointed with all the right upgrades like larger washer/dryer and giant windows. It's been almost 3 years since I moved from California, and I finally found the perfect spot.
