Straddling the Fox River and home to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Downtown Oshkosh is as scenic as it is exciting. The Oshkosh Riverwalk, complete with boat docks and benches, is a favorite for walking and jogging. The trail begins at Riverside Park, a popular green space along the river. The downtown shopping district features wide sidewalks framing historic buildings for a walkable, bicycle-friendly destination. One of the sweetest destinations in Downtown Oshkosh is also one of its historic -- Oak's Candy Store opened in 1890. Other historic locations include the Grand Opera House, built in 1883, and the Algoma Avenue, North Main Street, and Washington Avenue Historic Districts.
Downtown Oshkosh is home to a variety of events. The Oshkosh Chalk Walk features a variety of artists creating fantastic artwork on the downtown sidewalks. Other events include the Oshkosh Farmers' Market, the Oshkosh Gallery Walk, and the UnWINEd-Wine Walk.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Ivy
I have been there for over 7 years and the apartment is beautiful and unique in Oshkosh. The reason I gave it four stars was the stairs to the third floor. The management team is great. Since I have been there for awhile I was given tickets to the Brewers game. Wow, what company does that after five years of living. The managers that are on staff are very attentive. Last week during the snowstorm Evelyn, I saw Jen (the manager) snow blowing kids out of the parking lot and across the street.
Indian Trail is an awesome place to live. The building is almost 100 years old and built by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright. The managers are married and the most welcoming and easy to work with managers. Not anything like most of the Oshkosh (slumlords) we encountered in the past. Them and their company keep the place clean and handle repairs really fast. My wife and I lived there for a couple years and there was never any issue getting out of the parking lot--always cleaned in the early morning. ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!
DONT LIVE HERE. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! And what ever you do don't move into the 516 building apartment 112. You can hear the apartment managers snoring through the bedroom wall and it makes it difficult to sleep. They are also constantly yelling at each other/at their kids and it is very obnoxious and annoying. The basement and hallways constantly smell like cigarettes and weed. During the fall and winter months you aren't allowed to open your windows more than a crack even though the apartments get really hot and stuffy inside. Also the parking lot is rarely plowed in the winter, making it difficult to get in and out when needed. The kitchens are really small and don't have the best set up. They charge you $10 a month per car to park on a beat up gravel parking lot or $40 a month per car to park in a garage. The building is 100 years old (literally) so there are constantly people coming into your apartment and invading your privacy to make sure the water and radiators are working. This is just the short list of issues I had while living here. I've lived in other properties in the area that have a similar rent price, but this has been by far the worst experience. Unfortunately the lowest score I can give is 1 star because if I could give it a 0 I would.
