The Horizon At Fleetwood

I called over 2 weeks ago asking about availability and details of the property. No answer. I sent a message 3 days ago through their online portal. No answer. I called 4 times over the course of yesterday. No answer. I asked for an update on my follow-up message 3 days ago, and finally got a response yesterday where they informed me they were full. I asked if it's going to be this difficult to get in touch with management if I become a tenant there, and all they said was "sorry for the delay, good luck with your apartment search". I thought I'd be happy living here based on the reviews, but if I'm gonna have to deal with an unresponsive landlord, count me out.

Horizon at Fleetwood has been our home for over 5 years now. The building is well-kept and has all the amenities that one can ask for in a luxury complex. Jackie, Mauricio, and Gary are wonderful and so helpful. Great rooftop to host small gatherings and the commute into the city is so convenient. I wouldn't think twice to live here again!

Just moved in on March 1st and must say its a breath of fresh air for us! Quiet floors and neighbors and very nice building & apartment amenities. Management is great and helped make the move in process easy. Both the maintenance and front desk staff have been super responsive and we're never made to feel like we're bothering them. Looking forward to our new residence!

We moved into this building in 2019 & could not be happier with our decision! The apartments are basically new & everything inside is super nice - kitchen, bathroom, hard wood floors, appliances, washer & drier in each apartment!! The common areas are furnished beautifully & kept super clean. Management & super are very responsive. Neighbors are friendly! Roof is amazing! Grand Central is 25 minutes away with metro north. All making this a great place to live!

The building was built well which is very important. I have been in a lot of "new" construction which ends up being cheaply built. This building is solid and still has all the amenities of a "new" trendy building. Management is helpful and nice. Building is immaculately maintained.

My husband and I have been living in The Horizon for just over 2 years now and we couldn’t be happier here. We now have a baby and a toddler and they love it here as well. We pay around the same we were in Harlem, but, now we have a 2 bed/2 bath with a washer/dryer, balcony, 2 parking spots, and an amazing roof! The building has a very warm community feel and we have made good friends here. I also must add we have felt very safe here since COVID hit, the building has taken every precaution and worked very hard to keep us safe. Our only complaint has been week long periods when there is night time construction on the highway or trains nearby. We can hear all the trucks backing up. I can go right back to sleep, but it has effected my husbands sleep (We live in the H line of apartments). Despite this, our view is beautiful with the city out the window to our south and Yonkers to our west. On July 4th we can see at least 10 fire displays from our balcony and even more from the roof:)

I have been living here for many years and I can say it is one of the best places I have ever lived. From Jackie, Mauricio, Gary and others that have worked with them, they have created an excellent, safe and familial atmosphere. In addition, I work in NYC so it's a super quick train commute and six minute walk to the metro north. Literally, no complaints at all. I love it and you will too.

I have been living in Horizon at Fleetwood for... I have lost count of the years :) Lived on the different floors because I want to have changes in scenery without giving up "my" luxury apartment. From that alone, you can tell I have a hard time moving out of Horizon. Management and staff are caring which is a big plus! Beautiful, quiet, gym , library , rooftop. Of course rules to prevent spread of infection. COVID-19 is the world we live in these days but Horizon has kept us safe. Thank you H@F!

Native city kid who moved up here about 3 years ago. I will say, I absolutely love it here! It's peaceful, beautiful and GREEN! Jackie is an amazing property manager who handles everything very quickly. Mauricio and Gary keep the building in tip top shape and do it with a smile. Great team here!

The Horizon at Fleetwood experience was really positive for us. We actually found it after searching for similar rentals in the area but feeling like we weren't finding what we were looking for. Jackie took us on a great tour of the place and we were thrilled at the size of even a 1BR apartment there. The view from the roof is INCREDIBLE - Manhattan skyline in one direction, White Plains skyline in the other. The process for applying to the building was very easy unlike many of the co-op situations close by. They also allow pets which was really awesome for us as we have a cat. However, the thing that makes this building the best is the staff. I have never been treated so well in my entire life. Jackie helped us not only with moving in, but understanding our situation when we were moving into a house (a short sale with MANY complications and shifting dates) and she never once made us feel like we couldn't be accommodated there. The other staff members, including maintenance, are incredible people who truly care about you. There were never any lingering issues or problems that we had to deal with while there. In fact, it was probably the last time I'll ever be able to say that I never had anything to worry about at my residence. :) We also really appreciated the small events/parties that took place in the lobby, like Halloween and different contests throughout the year. The building CAN feel like a little community if that is what you're looking for. But if you're not, and if you just want an easy commute home from NYC or WP and relax, it is that, too. 7-8 minute walk to the Fleetwood MetroNorth station. And if you have a car, you can rest assured that it is totally safe off the street when you park in the building's garage. (If you opt not to do this, you may run into problems at certain times of the day finding parking that is close and one day per week, they have alternate side parking for street cleaning.) One last note about the local area: we love going out for dinner and drinks and we were surprised at the lack of good dining options close to the apartment. However, local towns of Bronxville and others provided plenty of options if you're willing to drive there. I was also pregnant during our last months there and I walked regularly around the neighborhood and never once had an issue. There aren't enough good things to say about this place. It really is a gem with GOOD people working there and you get what you pay for so much more.

We have been living here for about one year. But we already felt home since the very first day we moved in. The reason why we have chosen this wonderful place is primarily because we believed that we would receive the most excellent services here; and we are right. Ms. Jackie from the management office helped us so efficiently to accomplish the application process and has always been helpful regarding all our questions. Ms. Jackie, the maintenance team and the concierge gentlemen are there to make sure that our life here is pleasant and comfortable. We think people may see beautiful apartments with all the modern facilities, wonderful interior designs, great value, and convenient locations. But they don't always find the most friendly, efficient and professional services team as we fortunately do have here at the Horizon at Fleetwood. No matter how great a place may be, if there is no excellent management, the residency may never be so satisfactory. Therefore, if you are not just looking for a wonderful place to stay, but also a real home, you probably want to come here!

Five years ago, having wandered through many Manhattan apartment buildings seeking a deal with abundant natural light and freeing space, I was amazed and blessed to have my prayers answered by a willingness to trade in my love of the central-city-bustle and apartment dweller's anonymity for a convenient ride to the city, a quiet neighborhood with basic conveniences and personal services at more reasonable rates. The trade-in brought me to the Horizon at Fleetwood with spacious well appointed apartments allowing three times as much space for the money, a non-invasive yet family-like sense of security, and a consistently well-maintained home providing optional in-house individualized, group, or communal activities.

I have been living at The Horizon for the past 5 years and it is great value for money! The apartments are quite spacious and well appointed. The property is very well maintained as no detail is overlooked in ensuring the building is kept clean. The building is in an ideal location with the Fleetwood Metro North station a quick 6 minutes walk. I was very fortunate to find this home and have thoroughly enjoyed living at The Horizon!

Great apartment community, close to the Metro-North train station for an easy commute to the city. The apartment is very well maintained with an on-site superintendent. Management and staff are very helpful. We have been living here for 2 years and have just renewed our lease for the 3rd year.

We have lived here since the place was built several years ago and we love it. The view of the skyline is priceless. We live on the sixth floor. Out apt is spacious 2bedroom. Lovely layout and fixtures. I love the bathroom tiles and open windows. We love our balcony. We love our manager Jackie and our maintenance man Mauricio. We love our concierge gentleman, especially Gary. We have had a great experience here and have always had quick response with any issues. Everyone that we have met here is so nice and friendly and courteous. The place is quiet and lovely just like we like it. It is the perfect distance from the city and proximity to the Metro North train station. Fleetwood. I love it here.

I was one of the first tenants to live at the Horizon. What I found was that the amenities were of quality. The bathrooms were spacious and well appointed. Tiles and granite tops adorned the kitchen and bathroom areas. The gym is small but adequate to keep in shape. Building was nice and quiet at night with no young crowd parties going on. The neighborhood is vibrant and still growing with plenty of places to eat and enjoy a nice night out. All within walking distance. Also the MetroNorth Fleetwood train station is a short walk down the block. Special thanks to Mauricio the super. He worked tirelessly, fixing any problems that arose. Overall experience was very nice indeed and would highly recommend.

I'm so thankful to be able to call this building my home. The Horizon is a doorman building that is just a short 30 min. train ride to NYC, not to mention the 5-6 min. walk to the Metro North train station. The management and staff care so much for the residents, its more like a family. Every holiday is celebrated in some form or fashion including the residents i.e. Easter, Christmas etc. In addition, the great amenities such as the gym (always clean, with great machines), roof top lounge as I call it--where you can actually see NYC buildings and relax peacefully and lastly, being able to dry clean your clothing with the drop off and pick up right downstairs in the lobby. The rent is extremely reasonable as well... I've been here for four years, and I have no plans to leave :)
