Property Ratings at The Hendrix
The property sells themselves really well to get people to apply. When I toured and saw the units they looked renovated and the amenities look great. Once I moved in, I saw the true colors and it is a disaster. I do NOT feel safe living here - AT ALL. The gate is always broken and seems like it has been for years. They say they are working on fixing it but anyone can literally walk in at any point in time through the side doors or the main gate. The key fabs do not work and I had to keep going to the office to get a key fab. They NEVER answer the phone.
I moved in recently and it’s been a positive experience. The management is attentive and any issues I’ve had were resolved promptly. The area is safe and I appreciate the security measures they have in place.
I’ve enjoyed my time here so far. The apartments are spacious and the kitchen is well-equipped. I like that it’s close to public transportation.
I’ve been living here for a while now and I have no complaints. The apartments are comfortable and nicely laid out. The amenities like the fitness center and pool are great for staying active. It’s a pet-friendly place, which is perfect for my furry friend. Overall, it’s a great place to call home.

The staff at the community does not actually work. Packages stolen, gate has not worked for over a year, pool is closed year round, valet trash gets dumped in parking lot, staff is unresponsive and smells like weed all the time. Including the property manager and leasing. Not to mention cars are broken into almost daily. Also the staff writes the positive reviews. They tried to incentivize residents to write them but we wouldn't because this place is awful.
I love the sense of community here. The residents are friendly and welcoming, and some regular events and gatherings help foster connections among neighbors.

My family and I recently moved into an apartment here and we really love it! Not only is the location great but it’s also very quiet here despite its centrality. The property management team is incredibly helpful when anything needs fixing or attention paid to it around our building complex.

Always the best on maintenance requests, the technician was professional and respectful. Called before arrival and finished all the issues in a short time. I have lived in multiple apartments but this has been my best experience with maintenance requests by far.
My son and his roommate originally moved in December 2021 and had no major issues with the complex until November 2022. After signing a lease renewal, which includes an additional fee for washer and dryer, the dryer stopped working. A service request was submitted on November 13th, 2022. A service technician looked at the dryer and stated that he would have to order a part. After several weeks without an update, we visited the office to check on status. The office staff indicated it was still in process. After 2 1/2 months without a dryer and after numerous attempts at sending emails, making phone calls, in-person visits to the office and resending service tickets (all without a response), we decided to hire someone to fix the dryer. The person we hired fixed the dryer (new heating element) the same day for $280! This month we learned that all of the tenants are now responsible for chipping in to pay for the common area electric and gas usage. This was snuck into the lease agreement as it was not included in the previous years. Another way for the complex to look like rent is reasonable while having the tenants increase the owner's margin by paying their gas and electric bill! We cannot wait for our lease to expire so we can find another place!
It’s such a wonderful place! I have lived here for 2 years and it’s always constantly improving. We got a new management company earlier this year and they’re always working their hardest to make this place even better.
I have lived here for the last 4 years and the new management team has been amazing! With only being here for 6 months, they have added beautiful landscaping including lighting.

I HATE HATE HATE it here!!! Gates and doors broken. Can’t even access my own building properly when I want to. Lived here without a/c for several months out the summer. No security or package system so good luck getting packages. Not to mention they charge for miscellaneous services that we don’t have.

DO NOT LIVE HERE! I have had my apartment flood twice since living here for less than a year. When I got black mold in my closet & had to get $600 worth of clothes dry cleaned all they did was come and spray it with bleach. It still smells like mold & rot! I’ve gone up to the office several times because they never answer the phone. & of course they say they’ll fix the issues blah blah but they never do. The gates are ALWAYS broken. They community leaves trash piled high to the point of bug (knats, roach, mice) infestations. This is the 2nd management group in 9 months AND THEY ARE WORST THAN THE LAST!! 1 good thing is that it’s quiet here, but that’s also because the units are empty. THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY!! LIVE HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
