The Haven

I just came to the haven and so far it is amazing, I love the atmosphere. The gym is my favorite part, keep up the good work!

This place smells and doesn't look clean at all. I think they hype this place up too much. The staff is rude as well give them a call and see.

I like living here, the staff in the office are very nice and are always willing to help. Whenever I need something done they are always right on it with a quickness. I like how they are always having food and games for us to play and win prizes.

The haven is always really great with getting back to me, helping me with questions and concerns, and maintenance cokes when needed

Wonderful apartment. Safe and secure property. Great amenities and friendly, office staff. Fully furnished, affordable units. Fun community events. Close to campus but also has a reliable shuttle bus.

Whenever I come in for packages or need help with my resident portal the front desk staff is always so friendly and ready to help

I love the place, been living here for almost a year and the maintenance guy Cody gets to my orders fast and do them very well.

Apartments are in a great location with two awesome bus stops and shuttles to campus. I love using the amenities like the pool and fitness center. Maintenance turn around time is always very quick and convenient.

The Haven provides clean, safe, affordable housing that's attractive to students in the area and offers a great place for them to live.

My experience with the Haven has been nothing but positive. From moving from my old apartment it’s been a night and day difference. Miryam from the front office was efficient, well spoken and assisted me in every aspect. Would highly recommend. Vote, I mean ask for Miryam

The Haven is such a great apartment with wonderful amenities! The pricing is really affordable for college student and the location is just a few minutes from Ball State. They even offer a shuttle for their residents! The staff is so nice and understanding, I feel comfortable going to them with any questions or concerns

All the staff were very helpful and courteous not to mention the beautiful apartments with the clean relaxing atmosphere of the community.

The staff is excellent in helping when you need anything. I love the apartment & all the amenities. It’s also close to BSU, which is great as a college student.

I visited the other day because I was looking for a place for my son to stay while he attends school. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The outside was well kept and free of trash. The building sits in a nice location near shopping and restaurants. There is a bus that stop near by. The facility looks very secure and up to date. The apartments are reasonably price and comparable to other places in the area though this one is much nicer. I would definitely recommend stopping by at having a look if you are in the market for an apartment.

The complex offers nearly everything a person could need. Spacious apartments, Outdoor activity areas, pool, basketball and sport areas, grilling areas, and a very well equipped exercise and office service area. Maintenance is reasonably accessible. Needs more upkeep in concrete stairs and walkways, outdoor walls need more upkeep. Shuttle does not run to campus as often as promised when signing up. Overall better than any house/apartment found on the edge of BSU campus and a much better price for traditional/ non=-traditional students.

As a mom with a daughter living away from home, it's nice to know she's in a good, clean, safe environment. Thanks to The Haven!

The Haven provides a wonderful environment, a plethora of amenities, and an enthusiastic staff that makes people feel right at home. I would definitely recommend this place to all Ball State students.

The property itself and the apartment are clean and well maintained. The office staff has been very helpful and friendly anytime I have had work with them.

This place has a great sense of community. Wintry months are more secluded but summer months are fun because of the pool. Highly recommend living here! I just renewed to live here next year too :)

This property is conveniently located to restaurants, campus and the highway.

Location is close to everything you need and a quick shuttle trip to BSU! Staff is always friendly and willing to help!

The Haven has such a friendly staff! The apartment's are a great size and the large kitchen is my favorite part, also all of the apartment's have a balcony with sliding doors. I highly suggest living at The Haven!

This is the worst place I ever lived. The place may look beautiful from outside, but inside, this place is HORRIBLE. They feel like a prison or detention center. They do not have proper ventilation, when you cook the whole house smells terrible. They are more expensive than portrayed. They say utilities are covered, but the monthly electric charge actually consists of the internet, cable, and sewer. If you want to enjoy a home feeling, this place is not worth your attention!

Okay I’ve really had nothing but bad experiences here. And I feel like it’s just them taking your money. If you want to waste your money live here. When I moved in they said the electric would be $20 in the summer and $60 in winter. And it’s $60 in the summer and $100 in the winter. My roommates and I were gone the entire month for Christmas and it was still a $100 dollar bill. All the appliances have many issues and the floors are literally coming up in the bathrooms. All I’m saying is it’s not worth your money! Save it and go some other place! Update: giving this place 0 stars because it’s really that bad. Moving out of this place is just as worse they will charge you for anything just to get money from you. They charged $50 for a “light clean up” when I spent all day cleaning my room and apparently didn’t wipe down one counter top. They also charged me another $25 for leaving a toilet bowl cleaner and called it “damages” This place really has no empathy for there tenants and they just want to take advantage of college students and take your money. I’ve spoken to the manager many times and he’s never been any help and doesn’t know how to run a “business”

I was a resident here when it was switch from the former windermere to the haven. I moved in to an apartment full of fleas and a room that smelled like a wet dog. The carpet was a mess when I moved in and I was still charged for carpet repair when I moved out even though it was like that when I moved in. The office staff is laughable. The maintenance team is amazing. ask for other people's opinions on this place before you move in.

This apartment is clean, great for students and great for privacy. With your own bathroom in each room, there's no fumbling in the middle of the night! haha The staff here is great and always friendly. Granted the parking lot is needs work, especially in the winter, its a great place to live!
