The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Hancock House
I’m currently living at Hancock house, and it’s been a comfortable experience. The neighborhood is fantastic. The apartment itself is clean and modern, with everything you need to settle in right away. My only critique is the lack of organized activities or social events. As someone who’s experienced co-living abroad, I was expecting more effort to build community. I’ve raised this with management and was told they’re working on it, so hopefully, that changes soon. For now, it’s a solid place to live with room for improvement.
This house gave me what I needed most when I moved to NYC: a soft landing. I didn’t have to buy furniture or hunt for roommates. I just showed up with my suitcase and got to start my life here.
Outpost gave me the fresh start I needed. The community atmosphere really helped me settle in, and my roommates were thoughtful and easy to live with. Add in reliable WiFi and regular cleaning, and it’s easy to say - I’d definitely rent with Outpost again.
The Hancock House offered me a clean, modern living environment with thoughtful amenities like monthly cleaning. I felt safe and connected to the city’s culture while staying here.
The building is structurally sound, and I live in an apartment where there are quite a number of 1 bed/1 bathroom suites. No one one has a wait to use a restroom and most tenants have their own private bathrooms--this alone, makes the moderate room pricing enviable. The weekly cleaning is a great asset to living here and is done fairly well. Also, whenever there have been any issues with maintenance or apartment needs member support service agent, Jolene, has been amazing. She takes tenants' requests seriously and responds to emails in timely and professional fashion. Jolene believes in member support and respecting all tenants.
It's an nice size and enough room for kids and younger family members can run around
