The Grand at the Domain

I am a current resident at The Grand. The new management has just dissolved the concierge service completely despite this being the amenity that led many residents to lease here. There’s is no representative onsite any longer. Because of this, there are now homeless people in the garage, car break ins, packages laying all around the building for anyone to grab, and an overall lack of safety. I’m not sure what other amenities they will completely dissolve or start charging for next. This place has been going downhill for the past year. Stay far away. I’d recommend The Bowen for an actual luxury experience in the Domain. Or one of the more affordable buildings as they probably have the same amenities this place has now. Really sad to see this place so mismanaged.

I lived here from January 2023- July 2024. Unfortunately, management changed earlier this year and the quality of the building went down significantly after. After the change, the concierge table is much less frequently staffed, and general upkeep has declined. Worst still - the hand off between companies was managed poorly. Autopay settings were not carried over, and the new management chose instead to send notices of late payment instead. In addition - they did not maintain move-in inspection records and asked me to pay for previous damage that I had noted on the form at move-in. Also one last note - during cold times the building heat cannot keep up. This winter the pipes froze and water was shut off for a few days. In addition - as other reviews noted, the parking garage gates have barely worked at all in the last few months. I had to resort to parking outside. Unfortunately I must now say that you should absolutely avoid this building. A shame to see it go downhill so badly. Avoid at all costs.

Love it here and just signed our 4th lease. The location is perfect and private. Building is secure and very well maintained. Some new upgrades are coming soon so looking forward to those.

Great experience here now for almost the 4th lease! This is definitely the most private and quiet place to live in the domain. Wonderful and helpful staff! High end WiFi appliances, great maintenance, concierge, and perfect location!

The staff at the grand is AMAZING! I feel so at home, and I love the community. The spaces are so clean, up to date and beautiful it is by far the best for the money and comes with the best staff & concierges!

Amenities in the building are nice and is in a great location. Any maintenance request issues are handled quickly and unit was move in ready when we arrived.

Everyone here is super nice and helpful!! Both the apartment and the building were very clean when I moved in, and Tim at the concierge was so helpful with the whole move-in process! The building looks like it’s brand new, and this is hands-down the best apartment I’ve lived at! I am a very picky person, and I cannot tell you enough how nice this apartment is.

Such an awesome place to live! Special thanks to Tim G, Stephanie and Russel for making living here feel like home :) Monthly events for residents (even monthly breakfasts too), concierge service, very pet friendly, a lounge on every floor and a third floor pool makes this place luxurious! Staff are friendly and respond quickly to service requests and more! Highly recommend this place if you want to be close to The Domain amenities but away from the core rush of people and traffic.

I love living at the grand!! This is the best apartment complex in the domain. I looked at lots of apartments before deciding on this one and I’m super happy to live here. Everything is really nice quality and everyone who works here is very kind and accommodating.

Great staff, and units. Nice facilities. Dont go too wild on pricing. Great location, good weather, mostly good neighbors. Leasing staff rocks. Maintenance staff always professional.

Been here for almost two years, really enjoy the building, amenities & staff. The place is always clear, the other residents are for the most part pleasant, and I really like my top floor unit!

The maintenance here is top notch. While I miss our old concierge, Gary, the people you see everyday downstairs are always helpful and upbeat.

We've lived in luxury apartment complexes before which I would rate as a 5 star experience, but the Grand at the Domain is on another level from everything including their amazing staff to the community amenities. The leasing, maintenance and concierge teams are absolutely top notch and very pro active. I've lived in other communities where sometimes things get lost coordinating among them, however, everyone is on the same page here. This property should really serve as a template/training on how an apartment complex should be run. Big thank you to everyone that makes living at The Grand at Domain an amazing experience!

This is by far, the best building to live in the Domain! Renewed our lease twice and about to again for a third time! The building is beautiful and luxurious, extremely secure, the first building to have a concierge, great staff/management, and a perfect community to live in! We have several resident events which are great ways to get to know our neighbors. Gary (our concierge) is the best! Always happy, welcoming, and just very kind! The entire staff is all very friendly! Management is always there when we need them! The maintenance team is one of the best we have had. They respond immediately to our requests for anything we need taken care of. Don’t hesitate to check out the Grand if you’re considering moving to the Domain!

The employees that work here are so kind and helpful. I love how welcomed I feel coming home it’s so nice! I wish there was some kind of visitor parking pass for a certain time to park in the garage so it’s not far for my guest to walk.

Overall has been great! Yesenia made the whole leasing process very pleasant from the first visit to move in.

This is the best building in the domain. Extremely clean, safe, and secure. The staff is the best and this is a quiet location with young professionals who keep it up.

The Grand is an excellent place to live, a beautiful apartment with excellent appliances, handsome design, a very good sized patio, all located next to a dog park and a two minute walk from the Domain shopping area. The shopping are provides a great variety of stores and restaurants to frequent in person or order in from. On top of that the staff is always courteous and make you feel at home.

Summary: All that glitters isn't gold. Our rent was the exact same as our condo in the Bay Area and for the price this place is just NOT worth it. Building staff customer service is top-notch (concierge & maintenance); location, interiors, and appliances at first glance appear to be amazing; but the quality, structure, and building is bad. In our first week, we submitted multiple maintenance request from broken cabinets + appliances and have had to do so continuously over the duration of our time here. I am writing this review after living here for ~6 months and deciding it was so bad that we needed to move on. It's important context to know that my husband and I have no children and consider ourselves pretty low maintenance when it comes to complaints but our personal experience living here was very poor and the two stars are solely for the great people I met being apart of this community.

In early November, my partner and I needed to move into a place very quickly, and we expected that with such a short timeline, it would be somewhere that would make us have to compromise. When we walked into The Grand, we knew immediately that we were home. Our leasing agent, Ashley, was fantastic in regards to getting our paperwork expedited and helping us work through any sticking points. The concierge staff, lead by the amazing Gary, has been out of this world accommodating. Truly, everyone pulled out the stops to welcome us to our new home and make things easier for us, even while the building is finishing construction. If they don't have an answer immediately, they look for one and get back to us. I cannot say enough about the staff from start to finish. In regards to the home, it's beautiful. The space is gorgeous, and fits us perfectly - 2 people and 2 medium sized dogs. There's plenty of space to organize our furniture, and the living area gets really nice natural light from the large windows going out to the balcony. One of the best things is the usage of space. Our bedroom is large enough to comfortably accommodate our king sized bed, and any extra space has been given to a large, welcoming bathroom that is *perfect* with the deep soaking tub, and a large closet with built in shelves. Extra space was also given to the large living area, dining area, and kitchen. It's a home built for living; conversely, most other places we looked at in the area seemed to sacrifice lots of space on a large bedroom, which isn't where you truly end up spending most of your time. The amenities are lovely -- we've had a few different resident treats and events, and our apartment looks down on a gorgeous courtyard. I'm looking forward to enjoying the space once the weather is warmer, especially the two giant outdoor kitchen setups. The gym is perfect for a good workout, complete with some free weights and plenty of other items like medicine balls, battle ropes, etc. I'm the type of person that rarely submits reviews (unless the place is completely worth it), but I'm also a person who reads them. Trust me, this place is well worth it, and absolutely a place we're glad to call home.
