The overall property is very nice. I am very grateful to have an apartment with space and a backyard. Even though the appliances are not good quality but are in good working conditions, I would say I love it here. I realize I just moved here, so I still making adjustments.

I just moved in a few days ago and I'm loving my new apartment. From my very first interaction with Kody over the phone he was absolutely AMAZING. The Gin Mill was the best decision that my husband and I made in April of 2024, now that we’re approaching a year, I’m highly considering convincing my husband that we should move. There’s not any exclusivity within the complex so the cleanliness has decreased, parking has become such a hassle and the new office staff doesn’t make an effort to greet current residens.

Be careful with your packages when it delivery to the mail room. Everyone can get in there and stole your packages. I had 3 big packages got stolen from there even in that room they have a big camera but they still can’t do nothing and i never get it back. I just moved in there couple months but the secure in there really unprofessional. The day that i move in they NEVER clean an apartment they give me a DIRTY room with the floor peel off and cat poop and hair everywhere in the kitchen drawer and celling fan. The staff get into my apartment with copy keys on purpose couple time while im not home and the camera inside of the apartment catch them. When i complained about the problem they called me one time before get in but even im say NO but they STILL come in while im out of town. I wish i trust all the reviews before i make decision to live here.

Our mailroom is limited access for residents only with our key fob system. Additionally, we do have a Parcel Pending locker system that is included with your residency that we strongly urge you to sign up for! This ensures your package is placed in an additional secured location that only you are permitted to access with a private code. It sounds like there was definitely some miscommunication from us if / when we had to enter your home for a work order. Anytime we do face an emergency, we do need to make immediate entry to take care of not only the community, but you and your neighbors as well. Since the day that we toured, we knew that The Gin Mill would be our new home. The Gin Mill is such an improvement from our last complex; starting with the leasing agents to the cleanliness of the property, to the space & ample amount of parking space. I was greeted by Rachel on my first visit to The Gin Mill. She was very knowledgable about the property and was happy to show me around. She was genuinely interested in making sure the unit she showed me would meet my needs. I was about 8 weeks out from my move and she made sure to communicate with me via email to make sure I was on track for the move. It was an all around great experience. I really like the mail room and storage lockers to get packages. When the weather is a little nicer, I will take advantage of the dog park and the pool area. I'm looking forward to the next community event so I can meet some of the neighbors. The property seems quiet. I also love the spacious interior of my apartment and my garage. This was a very good decision to move here and it will be my home until I am ready to buy again in the next couple of years.

I’ve lived here 4 months and have been dealing with mice the entire time . Management refuses to let me out my lease u less I paid 6000 dollars

Rachel & Jeff are amazing! They work with you and made our move in as as seamless as possible. Highly recommend The Gin Mill! Even though it’s still under construction, the sounds are not overly disruptive and they are building everything so beautifully!
