The West Huntsville area sits just south of Interstate 565 and west of Downtown Huntsville. Characterized by its many quiet residential streets, the neighborhood is bound by major thoroughfares to the north and east, such as U.S. Highway 231.

I love having an elevator! The pool is also really nice. I was a little skeptical because it’s shallower than the pool at my old apartment, but that’s completely made up for by the Foundry playing classic rock at the pool instead of the top 40. The location is convenient to basically everything, most importantly a grocery store. I can walk to Stovehouse, Campus 805, and even Lowe Mill if I really push it, and nothing else in town is too terribly far of a drive since it’s right off the interstate. The traffic on governors isn’t even bad! I only have two complaints: the mailroom is a huge hassle to get into, especially if the delivery person doesn’t scan the package in properly. More importantly, my living room doesn’t have a ceiling fan, so I’m having to run the HVAC on “circulate” to keep it from getting stuffy.

It’s been a great experience thus far! I love the amenities here. I was worried about the echoes with the tall ceilings on the first floor making it easy to hear my neighbors and vice versa but it’s pretty soundproof. Great place to live!

We just moved in, but so far so good. Wish the dog parks weren't full of poop. Maybe once the waste bags are refilled people will pick up after their dogs? One can hope!

Management is so nice! Easy access to the building Great area! Close to downtown! Right off the interstate! Had trouble getting in the apartment door but managed to figure out how to unlock and lock the door! Thank you for welcoming us!

The place is very beautiful and there are nearly grocery stores that are nice. The flying biscuit is convenient since it’s next to me. This is my first time having valet trash and it’s pretty neat!
Great place, amazing loaction and very responsive service! Maintenance is well looked after. There's good food around and a grocery store is a bonus!
I've chosen an apartment with a bathtub. About a month later,after moving in, paint started to flake off the inside of the bathtub. I reported it to management. After that, maintenance started coming into my apartment in my absence. Without letting me know. They covered my entire bathroom in white dust, and the air smelled of acetone. They came,probably ,5 times, and each time they reported that everything was done well. And each time it only got worse. Today, there are scratches on the bottom of the bathtub and the paint is smeared on the sides. It is dangerous to use such a bathtub and it needs to be put in order.

Things are much better. I have not smelled marijuana in a while. Thank you. Only thing i have noticed that may need to be addressed is the pet waste. People are not picking up their pets waste.

The foundry is a very nice place to live. Very close to a lot of places in Huntsville. A lot of maintenance issues, but other than that really no problems.

My apartment community is nice. I do wish it was gated sometimes. Nevertheless, I still feel safe. The clubhouse is beautiful. However, it gets super cold in there at a certain time, which I wish it didn’t. I love my apartment but I do NOT like the dry wall.

Pros: It's a very nice apartment. The leasing office smells really good. I enjoyed my initial tour of the apartment. The leasing agent who helped me was very welcoming. They answered all of my questions and a gave me an informational packet with their contact information. Cons: I have had a hard time getting in contact with leasing agents when trying to finalize the details of my lease. I would call and have to leave messages. There was an error in the website and it showed units being available when they were not. I was told that I was in a particular unit and I had already set up my utilities there, but I was told that I would be moving into a different unit.

The move in experience was very seamless. Managed to both tour and move in within a week. Staff was very helpful throughout the process and quickly answered any questions that I had. The until was perfectly clean upon arrival. No complaints thus far and have thoroughly enjoyed living at the Foundry.

All is good so far. Only issues I have had or seen are cars drive to fast in the parking lot, garbage in the parking lots and my load and go on my washing machine is not working. I would also like a key fob that works the side door on the buiding I am in.

It’s been good so far! Love the apartment and how clean the halls and common areas are! Maintenance has been great and very responsive. My only complaint so far is that there still isn’t a a solution for the doors (the key fobs don’t work on any of the external doors for new move ins) and there doesnt seem to be a ton of parking. Especially considering it appears that a good bit of the units are still unoccupied

It's the little things that stop working that has been annoying such as: The valet trash not getting picked up as advertised leaving the hallways smelling awful, The mailroom is an absolute disaster having to locate your package in a sea of boxes, Construction next door would wake you out of your sleep, Key fobs spontaneously not working to get into the building. Besides all that, the apartment itself is great.

Love living at the Foundry. The location can not be beat and the amenities are amazing!! My actual two bedroom apartment is spacious and the layout is phenomenal. I love the 12 foot ceilings and high doors.

Awesome staff and great amenities! The unit itself is beautiful with spacious bathrooms and nice countertops ans cabinets! Love going on the balcony and seeing the mountains!
I have been here almost a year and it’s by far the best place I have lived. The staff is amazing, the amenities are by far the best and always clean. I would recommend living here to anyone!!!
It’s a nice looking, new place, but there seems to be under staffed or bad management issues. Things like valet trash, nice units with new appliances, have been very enjoyable. However, I’ve lived here for a month and not only have I been unable to check my own mail, but management can’t do it either. They said they lost the key so no one in the complex has been able to check my mail, which is extremely unprofessional. Especially for a place that advertises themselves as “luxury”, it’s anything but luxurious to not be able to check my own mail. All that being said, I understand that they’re relatively new, and that they’re probably trying their best to figure it out. The workers in the leasing office have been friendly as well.
