I really wish The Foundmore was already here when I moved to Pittsburgh. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the facilities are amazing, the units are modern, the residents are friendly and quiet, and it has the best gym I've ever seen at an apartment complex. The one glaring issue is the noise from surrounding apartments, especially from the apartment directly above. I can hear each footstep from the apartment above, as well as conversations. This makes it impossible to sleep with a neighbor that is up late at night. There have been two residents that have lived directly above me, and the same outcome. The ceilings and walls must be so thin. It’s one thing to occasionally hear some noise from neighboring apartments, but the noise is so loud it feels like there aren’t even walls. This is of course no fault of any of the staff, they are all great and attentive. The amenities are all nice. However, I wish I knew how paper thin the ceilings and walls were before moving in. If you move in, it has to be on the top floor.

I was initially impressed with this apartment complex, as expected with a brand-new build, but after living here for about eight months, I’m already noticing significant deterioration. The paint is cracking along the walls, and the floor paneling is lifting. While these are maintenance issues, I honestly don’t have the energy to put in a request for something that will make for a bigger inconvenience for me. Another major issue is the lack of responsible pet ownership. There are a lot of dogs here, and unfortunately, some owners don’t clean up after them. There’s dog waste everywhere, even right outside my first-floor window. People in my building even leave bags of dog poop by the door...why?! The community itself is also a bit frustrating. It’s a lot of younger people who don’t seem very considerate of their surroundings. Loud music, late-night partying, and general noise are common, making it tough to get a good night’s sleep or enjoy a peaceful environment. During the summer, the pool area is overcrowded, and there aren't enough chairs for everyone. Last summer, with fewer residents, seating was already limited, so I can only imagine how challenging it will be this year. I wish the complex would add more seating options in grassy areas- picnic tables along the walking path would be a great addition for a quieter outdoor space away from the busy clubhouse. Another frustrating issue is the package room. I’ve never had so many packages go missing. The space is completely disorganized, overflowing with boxes, and it’s nearly impossible to find anything. This really needs to be addressed. That being said, there are some nice things about living here. The walking trail is a great feature, and the location is super convenient- close to shopping centers and downtown, which makes running errands or grabbing a bite to eat really easy.

The apartments are nicely furnished with new Whirlpool appliances. Everything is very clean and new. We are at the back of the building which is very quiet and cozy. Location is quite convenient when traveling to downtown.

Such a beautiful complex. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the units are spacious. I wish there was a light at the entrance of complex so those traveling in from the city didn't have to U-Turn to get to the complex.
