I would never recommend anyone to move here. Below standard unacceptable for the money being charged
If you like being lied to while being accused of lying, this is the place for you! If you like people banging on your door with eviction notices when you've paid rent every single month, this is the place for you!
This is not a good place to live! The manager is unprofessional!

The Flamingo Apartment sits right off the lake giving you a view of the sun-rise and a few feet away from the beach and fire pits. The Flamingo is around the corner from The Museum of Science and Industry. Public transportation is 1-3 blocks away .There's also a mini gym ,washer and dryer and secure postal boxes to insure that you always get your package.
This is a great place to live! Beautiful location with easy access to public transportation, parks and shopping.

The Flamingo is in a beautiful location with plenty options suiting your taste. Maintenance responds promptly and management follows up voluntarily. I enjoy being steps away from amenities, entertainment and shopping. Security is efficient and meticulous about entry. You’ll have to tweak the imperfections of apartment interior , but pros outweigh the cons.

The Flamingo apartments are cozy apartments close to the lake front with washer ,dryers and a work-out room.. The Flamingo is also conveniently located near public transportation..

I’ve lived here for over a year and leased my apartment site unseen. I moved in from out of state and could not be happier with my choice. The rent is reasonable, the apartment is clean, never had a pest issue of any kind, and anything I’ve ever needed has been addressed immediately. There are excellent restaurants within walking distance, the beach is right there, and there is a lovely pool which only one other big building nearby has.

The office staff are very professional, even when the Property Manager has coverage, the experience is still exemplary. The office staff makes it a point to follow up after any issue II’ve uploaded to the portal in order to ensure satisfaction. The maintenance staff is both timely and efficient. The Flamingo apartments are conveniently located in the Hyde Park area. The management team and support staff are very accomodating. This is a quiet, clean and safe building. The Flamingo apartments are minutes from the lakefront.
The staff is amazing! They are personable, attentive, timely and professional in practice. It’s made my transition a smooth process, to say the least. Efficient customer service still exist.
It’s an awesome resident community w/ many conveniences and amenities, including a great staff.
Great viewing of the Lake Michigan and walking distance to the lake. Good also walking to the bus and stores.

The entire laundry room has been out of order for more than a week. I have almost never seen a day when all the machines are in working order. Most often, there are only one or two machines working. The radiators sometimes sound as if someone is hitting the pipes with a metal hammer at full strength, in the middle of the night, and I would not be surprised if the sound level violates the Chicago noise ordinance. Otherwise, the building is nice and management is helpful. But why does it take so long to fix the laundry machines?

I enjoy living at the flamingo. The building is located perfectly within walking / biking distance to my favorite Hyde park shops and restaurants, management is friendly, professional and kind, my neighbors and building community are kind, and the convenience of having a gym and 24 hour laundry room cannot be beat, especially in winter.

I have had some bad experience at Flamimgo,my first year was very good.The second year my apartment flooded from my toliet,no one cleaned my rugs or my furniture. Every time there was a water flood in your hallway downstairs I called you all because I was on my way to work from your bathroom in the lobby. No matter where I lived I have always been a good tenant. Never had any problems.

I have been a resident of Flamingo for 15 years, and with regrets, due to health and age, I will be moving in with family soon. However, before I go I want to say that my overall experience has been so rewarding. Specifically, the Flamingo has hit the jackpot with it's present leadership Passion, and her supervisory team Jennifer, and Kevin. I want to say to Kevin that Sam of your maintenance team is the best in the business when it comes to solving issues via fixing what's wrong.. How he manages is beyond me, with so many apartments and daily requests. A final word on the newest addition to Passion's team, Mr Bey, the office manager. His skills in managing the day-to-day operation of The Flamingo are to be commended. Mr. Bey is hands-on with each issue ,and gives each person respect; I have witnessed this up close and afar. Property is nice. Great location and views from the apartment units. Staff is friendly and attentive. Cleaners always present in the lobby cleaning the property. Older building but over all very nice.

Apartments are nice, big, great views. Leasing office are professionals and on site so its convenient when you need things done. Cleaning lady is in every morning at 7am so thats a relief to know the property is being cleaned often. Door staff could be more professional.

Great apart ,the area is pretty safe, The view of the lake is peaceful and calming.As well as the lake just a few feet away.Or going for a ride on the bike path.

The building was ok when I moved in here in 2019. But a year later, the caliber of people that had moved in is horrible, the marijuana smell in the hallways and there needs to be new washers and dryers in the laundry room. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend anyone here.
