HELPFUL is the best word to describe the office & maintenance staff. MAINTENANCE: Due to health/mobility issues I have needed special installs like a new shower head that has a sprayer on a hose. Maintenance was super fast and efficient in getting it installed for me. My stove broke, thought I was going to end up with a "slap some tape on it & let it go" kind of fix. NOPE, brand new stove. OFFICE: Sometimes you find yourself in a spot where you just need a little grace & understanding. Lisa leads a great team and they do give residents just that, grace & understanding. I appreciate their efforts in trying to bring our community together with activities. I just wish the people in the complex would participate. Maybe we could try a food truck dinner night? Or perhaps Santa could stop by for a visit? Thanks to all of you! Happy Holidays!

Been here for three years and I’m happy to say I’m moving OUT this month! The place has gotten much worse over the years…it’s dirty (trash everywhere), rude staff, maintenance doesn’t properly fix things until after several visits, kids everywhere with no supervision tearing down trees and siding off the buildings…I would have recommended here as a good starter apartment back then but not now.

My first night there were 3 arguments involving 3 different sets of neighbors, that 6 people arguing and fighting in one night. My washer was supposed to be in my bathroom but instead it’s in my kitchen floor taking up room i need, my toilet isn’t mounted to the ground or the wall and shakes, my shower faucet looks like it’s falling out the wall, my sliding door blinds were broke, my ovens bread warmer doesn’t close and my cat keeps attempting to go in there, the neighbors don’t pick up after there dog and i stepped in dog manure the first night.Wouldnt care about these thins as much if i expected them but they had over a month to get this apartment together and all the little things weren’t addressed and it was advertised to be a quiet well mannered complex.

The neighbors keep to themselves which I love because I value my privacy. The units themselves feel a little out dated for the cost of rent. The pool is wonderful. The Everett is family friendly, is walking distance to garstmill park which is lovely. The community is quiet. Over all we’ve been here three almost four years and it’s been a good experience.

Things have been okay in the past year. I just hope communication with maintenance and staff gets better. Also wish staff would have more concern for mailboxes that don’t lock. Mine has been open for over 9 months, with my social security card stolen out of it and now the post office refuses to deliver mail to it. Even the mail men have reported it to the front office.

I’ve lived here since 2022 mainly for the low cost, but I’m counting down the days until my lease ends. I dislike it so much I stay at my boyfriend’s house most of the time while my unit sits empty. The leasing staff is friendly but unresponsive, and maintenance is unreliable—issues take multiple requests to be properly fixed. I’ve lived in a couple different units and there are always water or plumbing problems. The apartments are cheaply turned over between tenants and often left dirty. The community is poorly maintained, loud, and full of trash, with no enforcement of rules. Kids are often unsupervised and destructive. Rent increases yearly despite no improvements. Again, staff is friendly for the most part and I do like that they offer Flex as a payment option however I wouldn’t recommend someone to live here. It worked as a starter apartment for me because I didn’t know any better.

I've lived here for going on 5 year and it is by far the nicest apartment complex I've lived in. All my neighbors are great. My building is very quiet. The grounds are kept well maintained and so is the pool. The staff is always very nice and easy going! Love my apartment!!

Was in the past six months everything about this place has changed. I don’t know if it’s new management but maintenance does not complete request. They just let them sit in pending till people forget they exist and then they claim they completed them.

Although, the prices of these are apartments are nice compared to others around the area, it's definitely not worth it. All of the appliances in the unit need a serious update. They advertise a dishwasher as one of the appliances but it is disgusting and wont work. We asked maintenance about getting a new one and they said they don't work on or replace the dishwashers. Every time you cook, use the oven or stove your fire alarm will go off and all in the gas in the unit immediately shuts off. And the worse thing about this apartment complex is the rats. Multiple units have them and they will let you move in knowing they're in there.

I have mobility issues from breaking my back twice. My doctor advised I get a shower chair and removable shower head. I did, and asked maintenance to install the new shower head. They came quickly and did a perfect installation. I am so very appreciative. The maintenance staff does a great job!

It’s amazing. We have little to no problems while living here. There has been a occasional parking issue due to the pool but I honestly love living here.

The office is slow to respond to any complaints or maintenance concerns. I have put in work orders to be told they were marked completed without anyone coming to fix my issue. I have had my vehicle vandalized without any follow up or investigation from the property manager. They act like all they care about is getting you in here for your money for 12 months. I would not recommend anyone who is elderly, has mobility issues or has children, ever move here.

It was slightly rough in the beginning. However, The staff as handle everything super well. They are all sweet! The pool is wonderful. The play ground is nice, but I wish it was more inclusive for small ones.

The neighborhood is nice and Garst Mill Park is right across the street, making it great for a walk and there's a Kroger nearby so it's nice.

Everybody is pretty reserved here but that's understandable now days, the people I have met are all good . I really don't have any complaints, and that is refreshing in today's world, Iam next to the trail and I am from the country, it's good to see a lot of wildlife ??

The neighborhood is quiet, neighbors keep to the selves which is fantastic. The pool is well maintained and I enjoy the fact that there’s a separate kid pool. What I don’t enjoy is the fact that you aren’t given 72 hour notice with a specific scheduled date and time prior to entry for non emergencies like filter replacements. It’s more of you’ll see a blanket email at the beginning of the month leaving you guessing when or if they will arrive or you’ll get a letter on your door with 24 hours notice. Which can be frustrating. The dumpsters are usually always full and you’ll get emails about it but nothing ever changes. Also roanoke county police are present often. Over all I enjoy the privacy here, the less interaction the better. The only thing that could make it better is a community fire pit in the open space across from the office.

The Everett has one side,apartments and one side,townhouses.I feel that the townhouse side tends to be quieter and safe. Maintenance usually takes care of things promptly.After hours, they usually call and tell you how to fix the problem yourself.The landlord office never answers the phone;but they answer emails.I wish they put 2 large dumpsters in a section either at the very back of the apartment complex or at the very front,but away from the homes and in a way where we could look out our windows and not see them.The neighbors are lazy and do not dispose of trash in the dumpsters and do illegal dumping.At the townhouses,almost everyone smokes marijuana;and one can never enjoy the fresh air of nature because the marijuana odor comes into your home.Townhouse area has drug dealers;but they keep to themselves. Request no speed bumps.Request assigned front door parking.A delivery package left at the wrong home was stolen by neighbors.911 is excellent and the neighborhood,a top community.

Most things here are fine. There is a couple people that do drugs and the cops are always here or they're yelling and screaming. Plus not having firewalls everybody can hear what you're doing. Other than that the people around here are very nice and friendly just a few you need to get rid of in my building upstairs in the back

Get to look at garbage all the time. Even better when the wind blows trash right by my apartment cause the dumpsters are ALWAYS FULL. Don't know why I even bother to put in a maintenance request... that's a joke. Wait months and still not fixed.

The community is nice, the appliances need updating and there needs to be better communication with staff. Maintenance also takes a while to respond even with appliance that aren’t working, and even if they do respond it’s not always fixed.

I've been living here since 3/7/25 and so far I absolutely love it, the dishwasher is very handy, maintenance seems to be completely up to par with tasks that are given by residents, the fact of being on the second floor is honestly a huge plus especially with a child who loves to be outside so I know he is always safe if he's out there ontop of the fact they have a park for kids
