Property Ratings at The District on Riverside
Bad environment, dangerous neighborhood, bad utilities. Smell bad in hallway, got couple packages stolen, car got broke in, dog poop pee everywhere.
If you're a student at Ball State looking to live here, run the other way. Cardinal Pointe or "the district" whatever it is, is by far the worst place i've lived in the last 3 years of being in muncie. It smells of cigarettes and trash everywhere all the time. Getting a hold of the people who own this property is so hard for no reason. It's such an old, outdated, joke of a building it's OUTRAGEOUS what I pay for compared to what I get. All of the doors allowing access into this building are ALWAYS unlocked making me feel so unsafe that anyone at anytime could come into the building. My mail is constantly left on the benches in front of the mailboxes bc the mailbox's are so old and crap they don't even close properly. I could go on .... This building needs to be bulldozed over and rebuilt bc the location is great! Everything else under the sun is awful.
Love it here at Cardinal Pointe. Close to everything, helpful staff & love the updates the new management has done.
The apartment itself is very cozy and livable, however, the management is as bad as it comes. You will have nothing but issues if you rent here. Find somewhere else to live that has more amenities and a cheaper price. You will be doing yourself a favor.
