The staff are so super helpful and friendly. They go above and beyond for anything you need, and if they don't have the answer, they will get it for you. If you are looking for an apartment to rent, The Crossings at Plainsboro should be your new rental.

Lived here 7 years. Location is the only strong point—right by the Lenape Trail for great walks. The air conditioning is unreliable and noisy, especially in upper units. Every summer we had outages and got no support from management. Staff can be friendly, but the tone is often condescending and inflexible. They require you to purchase overpriced renters insurance through a preferred vendor. We were charged an extra day’s rent after moving out because the office was closed and we didn’t know about the key drop-off (not clearly mentioned anywhere). After years of on-time rent, we were treated with threats and zero understanding. Would not recommend.

While the apartment complex is decent the price point is outrageous. In 3 short years my rent increased by almost $700. How is that legal? The amenities are also not great. Gym is small and the pool has very obnoxious rules. In June it’s only open weekends. It’s closed by Labor Day and it opens from 12-8 and that’s if your lucky to get lifeguards because it’s also common to go and not be able to go in the pool because no life guard on duty.You have to get out of the pool for a 15 min EVERY hour on the hour and they close from 4-5 so what are you really enjoying? But they have no problem charging top dollar. All these apartment companies are greedy and everyone should move and watch these people go bankrupt which is exactly what they deserve

These apartment are nicely located near Lenape Trail and Plainsboro Plaza, but they have a huge problem with AC. The AC units are old, weak, and don't cool properly, especially if it's a 2nd floor apartment. We've been staying here for several years and our AC stopped working at least 10 times during hot summer days. And sometimes they were unable to fix it for more than 3-5 days, so that we had to move out and stay at a hotel.

I recently relocated to the Crossings, and I am thoroughly satisfied with my choice to rent here. The apartment boasts cleanliness, ample space, and proper upkeep, and the surrounding community is peaceful and secure. What truly distinguishes this community, however, is the exceptional service I have received. The maintenance staff is both efficient and professional. The leasing agent, Bryan, ensured a seamless moving-in process by being knowledgeable, approachable, and always available to assist with any inquiries. If you are searching for an apartment, I highly recommend renting here, and request Bryan as your leasing agent.

Lived there from Jul’18 to Jul’19. A rat broke into my apartment, came at me and killed one of my parrots. The management somehow still found a way to blame me for it. Took them to court where their fancy lawyer tried everything in the book to throw at me. Overall, it’s a bunch of overpriced poorly-maintained apartments managed by a rude staff who couldn’t care less about you. Stay away if you care about your mental health.

I stayed in the community for a long time and during my Move out , I was charged for every minor thing that was preexisting . We noticed those issues during our stay and reported to team and we were told over the period of time , the items get worst example- vanity ,bathtubs color, walls color will get black with moisture .there are many other issues which I don't want to write here. unfortunately I adjusted to stay in apartment with those issues and during my move-out , all charges are applied on me . I totally regret to stay in the community to to deal with lease office team . Very disrespectful behavior with a valued resident. Do not refer and please be aware of MOVE OUT CHARGES.

We’ve been living here for about a month and have been very happy with everything. The apartments are beautifully renovated and the appliances are new and energy efficient. The community is quiet and safe and the landscaping is gorgeous. There are an abundance of amenities as well and the location is great for commuters. Some of the best restaurants in Princeton are only a 10 minute drive away. I would highly recommend this complex.

Great location! Very close to Asian market and other stores, restaurants. The apartment is new and it's really very quiet. A lot parking space here and there is a trail I think but I haven't tried yet. Strong recommendation !

I discovered The Crossings at Plainsboro here on Apartments.com in April 2019. Made a quick call to their leasing office and scheduled a weekend viewing and tour of not only the apartment, but of the community as a whole. On the day of the viewing I was attended to by Bryan from the leasing office, and he was not only professional, but very patient and answered each and every question I had about The Crossings at Plainsboro. Subsequent to this, I moved into The Crossings in May 2019, and managed to get the same continued professionalism and understanding from Bryan and his team in the leasing office. He made my move to the The Crossings at Plainsboro not only seamless but also pleasant and hassle free. To top it all off the apartments and the community as a whole has been recently renovated making living at The Crossings at Plainsboro even more pleasurable.

Since I came to live at the Plainsboro Crossings in December 2016, I’ve always had Randy do the maintenance work in my apartment. I’m very particular about keeping my living space clean and organized as it’s my sanctuary, and Randy has helped to make it so. Over the past few years, Randy has installed water filters for me throughout my apartment, changed light bulbs, done minor paint jobs and most recently refitted a bracket on my wall – pretty much fixed a diy gone bad! What I admire most about Randy and why I ask for him specifically when I need help is that his maintenance work is impeccable. He handles everything quickly, seamlessly and demonstrates a real talent for seeing through maintenance problems (probably also comes from having lots of experience, which I believe he has). I’m always amazed at how fast he performs a job and leaves it not only looking flawless but also working perfectly. I’ve been consistently satisfied with Randy’s work. He always seems to understand what I need without much explanation as he is very sensitive to my taste, which I value. This allows me to live in the way that I envision for myself – in a clean, healthy, cost efficient, fun and green environment. Most importantly, Randy is a good person – very friendly and someone who I’m happy to see whenever we meet. Thanks Randy! We have been living in this community from past 1.5 yrs and it is great experience so far. The apartments are newly renovated so that you get everything new. It has good amenities too and very close to Wicoff school. We loved the gas facility for heating and cooking. It gives you great savings as well. I strongly recommend crossings place.

We moved here last year and found that it was best choice. The leasing office addrsses any issues or concerns in no time. We love the gas heating and gas cooking which only crossings is providing in plainsboro. Great savings too.

My fiance and I moved to The Crossings at Plainsboro two weeks ago and so far we love it! There are so many stores and restaurants in close proximity to the apartment, which is awesome. We also have our dog living with us, so the dog park has been a great feature as well. The staff is friendly and the maintenance department is helpful. (We only had to call once because the outlets are childproof and we had trouble getting one of the plugs in but figured it out and the maintenance staff still came to check on us.) There is so much to do in this area and we feel very safe. A bonus is that the apartments are newly renovated and beautiful!

We found these apartments online, visited and drove around on our own to check out the area. We liked the community so we decided to come back and take a tour a few weeks later. Bryan gave us our tour and was very helpful, answering all of our questions! His follow up after the tour was great, proving us with an updated community map showing units we would be interested in based on our preferences. The community is safe, well-kept and spacious. The units are updated and come with a washer and dryer, and for the price, that is hard to beat! Bryan’s been great throughout this process and we’re excited to move into the crossings very soon!

Being that this is our first apartment, we were nervous about finding the perfect place. After seeing a few apartment complexes we were not overly excited about any of them until we came to The Crossings! From the second we got there we received great assistance from Hiteshri and she made our experience amazing! She was super helpful with everything we wanted in an apartment and gave us great options to choose from that worked for us. There were minor issues with the apartment we wanted fixed, and she did not hesitate to make it perfect for move-in. We are so grateful to have had such a great apartment hunting experience and cannot wait to move in!

During the process of getting an apartment, the service we received at The Crossing in Plainsboro was by far the best! After feeling left in the dark by the other apartment complexes around, we went to The Crossings and received amazing help from Hiteshri. We were able to explain to her exactly what we wanted out of the apartment and she was able to guide us to 4 separate apartments that met what we were looking for. After choosing what apartment we wanted, we were given help in what cable providers were available and where to set up our electricity. There was an issue with a cabinet in the apartment we wanted, however, Hiteshri was able to get that fixed for us almost immediately! Her customer service was amazing. This process has made us super excited to move in!

Friendly community with wide range of demographics: young professionals, families. The management and staff are very professional and continuously strive to meet or exceed expectations. The office manager Tania was very helpful in finding the apartment of my choice. Grounds are beautiful and meticulously maintained. Lots of parking space and sidewalks. Service is always prompt and efficient. Overall I am loving the community very much!!

We searched around Plainsboro to find a good apartment and found The Crossings is a great place. The newly decorated house make it very comfortable. The apartment is close to the park and pond with good views. People here are friendly. The leasing process is very smooth, Tania did a great job in showing us around, helping us to select a good location. All the staff at the leasing office are very helpful.

I liked the comnunity and apartments. The fact that its very close to park, school and has nice trails adds to it. The apartment was really good. Tania was extremely helpful and patiently answered all our questions. Application process was very smooth. Looking forward to our stay here.

Moved to this apartment recently after searching apartments for more than a month. Buildings are maintained properly and it is very clean with renovated appliances. Bryan helped me a lot in finishing all the formalities with in the expected time. I was all set to move with in 5 days from our first conversation. That was just wonderful because of his work.

I was looking for an apartment to rent recently and made an appointment with Tania at Crossings. When I visited Crossings at Plainsboro, Tania led me to have a look at the demo apartment. I'm quite impressed by her professional and high-quality services. This happy experience played a very important role when I finally decided to submit an online application to Crossings.

Oh my, The Crossings were beautiful. We lived here a few years ago and i was so happy to see the improvements. I stopped, without an appointment and was greeted by Hiteshri, who was warm and welcoming.When i posed a certain question, the Property Manager promptly came out to address it. Hiteshri took me on a tour of the facility, the updated grounds and a model unit. I FELL IN LOVE. We are looking forward to meeting again to complete the application.

This place is the WORST place i’ve ever lived ! We had non stop leaking into our bedroom and closet! They refused to replace carpeting that was soaked wet and smelled HORRIBLE with mildew. Took a week to respond to service request! Mold found growing in storage room walls from past water damage! Uninhabitable!!! STAY AWAY PLEASE RENT ELSE WHERE !! I wish i could show photos of the damages!

We have lived at The Crossings at Plainsboro for the past 2.5 years and have really enjoyed it. The staff is helpful and friendly, maintenance fixes were always just a phone call away and the complex is constantly being improved (in particular with the upgraded gym and BBQ area). I'm a big fan of the large community swimming pool, with a good depth for swimming laps as well as a separate pool for small children. Another slightly less well know fact about living in Plainsboro, and at The Crossings location in particular, is that there is a (mostly protected) bicycle path that leads all the way into Princeton. Overall a great and comparatively affordable place to live.

After living in a renovated apartment at the Crossings for a couple of years, a small section of the wood floor in the dining room area was defective. Without any hesitation, Bryan said that they would replace the flooring in the entire living room and dining room. Although an outside contractor was hired to do the flooring work, Randy (from the Crossings maintenance staff) was on site during the process to check on the workers. Randy took photos of the living room and dining room at the beginning, so that the workers would be able to put all of the furniture back to the original location. The job took longer than anticipated, and Randy stayed late to make sure that the job was completed properly, with all of the flooring materials cleaned up, and the new floor was vacuumed. The new floor is beautiful! All of the experiences with the Crossings maintenance staff have been highly professional!

I havent moved in just yet- we signed a lease way ahead of time. However, Bryan was so helpful and really made us feel at home before we knew what the apartment looked like! He was relatable, helpful, and reachable (we are coming from a building who ignores the residents completely). I could not be more thrilled about our decision. Thanks Bryan for making it a great and exciting experience!

We just moved in and our move-in process was very smooth. Thanks to Hiteshri and Bryan who made it very easy for us, particularly so, as we moved in from a different country. Hiteshri has been very helpful and courteous. Overall a very smooth transition. About the apartment , we were apprehensive to book it online without taking a tour however we couldn't find any flaw and is in great condition , newly renovated s.s appliances, located in a convenient and safe neighborhood.

I lived in this place for few years. I could confidently say the quality of management and the maintenance is top notch. Very pleasant place with a huge ground next to it for sports. I've been living here for almost 13 years and like it very much. The area is very quiet and safe, and the location is only minutes away from major highways. The leasing office team and maintenance team are very nice, helpful, and caring.

It's located in a quiet, safe area in Plainsboro and have some shops, library and restaurant in a walking distance. Move-in process was smooth and whenever there is some issue, the office is quick to respond and fix the problem. It's also very clean as recently renovated. (no bugs or roaches found so far.) Clean, safe, and good service!

Do not live here! The "new" apartments are poorly thrown together...and they won't let you leave! New shower installed at angle and floods bathroom every time. Upstairs shower leaked into our ceiling and the repair looks terrible! Upstairs dishwasher leaked into our kitchen ceiling! Water heater broke TWICE and flooded our apartment!! We are trying to leave and they have demanded 3 months rent which is just under $6000!!!!!!!

My husband and I lived in many apartments in Plainsboro and The Crossing has been the best. We came to view the apartment in February. Tania was very friendly and helpful. She found an apartment based on our needs. She kept us informed along the way. When we moved in the apartment was clean, newly renovated, and quiet. We couldn't ask for more. The landscaping is beautiful and location is walking distance to Plainsboro village. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

My husband and I have lived in the Fox Run community for several years . Although the property has changed hands the one thing that remains consistent is the high level of service and commitment the residents receive from the onsite staff here at the newly named Crossings . From the moment you drive into the new landscaped entrance you feel welcomed . The renovated apartments are beautiful the grounds are kept clean and well maintained . Its very apparent the new owners take pride in ownership. The office manager Melissa along with Bryan and the rest of the team always go the extra mile . All maintenance issues are addressed promptly and professionally by Randy and his team .Plainsboro is a lovely place to live with many rental communities to choose from . If your looking for a nice place to live that includes a staff of professionals who are available 24/7 then I recommend you choose the Crossings at Plainsboro for your next home.

Preparing a large place for a coming new born, we moved in their 2bd1br apartment recently. We choose this place because we saw a relatively good review. However, the first day we bringing our baby home from hospital, the ceiling of the bathroom was bulging and dripping like a waterfall, then finally almost falls off. According to our neighbor upstairs, they already noticed problem in bathroom day before but their report got no response. In the past five days, the sewer system of the whole building totally broke FOUR times. AND IT’S NOT FULLY PREPARED YET. I almost cried desperately, because in the very time I need a clean place to frequently clean the bloody wounds from birthing, the bathroom is unfunctional and contaminated with sewage water. If time could go back, I hope I didn’t choose this apartment complex. Now, in the same monment I'm writing this, the bathroom is leaking like crazy AGAIN. I'm seriously considering suing this company if I got infected in the birthing wounds or get postpartum depression because of this.

I was misinformed of a rental price and put in an application. When I was told that the price would not be honored, I asked for a refund of the application fee. Only when I asked for that refund was the original rent offered again. They have no intention of refunding the fee, and I have no intention of living here! This type of treatment was a huge red flag. I'm here to be a squeaky wheel and to let this be a warning to the rest of you out there looking at this complex!

I have been living at The Crossings for almost two years now. I would like to comment on the maintenance staff to say that they provide the most excellent service I have ever received while living in an apartment. The complex is in the process of renovations and, despite this, any repair request I make is handled rapidly, if not on the day I submit it. The staff and their boss are to be commended on their professionalism, efficiency and neatness in completing their work. I find the front office staff to be friendly, helpful and efficient as well. Plus, as a woman living alone, I feel completely safe, even coming home late at night. The complex is well lit from the parking spots to the exterior breezeways.

Although the neighbors and tenants living here are nice, the owners could care less about their property and people. We've been here over a year and when we signed a contract it was with the previous owner, which is why we moved here. Now, nothing gets done and they do not really care for the property. They have been storing construction equipment all over the complex taking up ample parking and causes trash to be blown all over the place. It's an eye sore and on top of that you pay for parking that isn't available. They say they want a clean property but yet the construction hasn't been finished and it's been over a year. Not only that but maintenance does not care to fix any requests you have. You can keep placing a maintenance request but they will either ignore it or say they did it until you push the issue. DO NOT LIVE HERE! There are plenty of apartments in Plainsboro to look at, look elsewhere.

I love my apartment. Plainsboro is a lovely town and the school system is superb. The area is very safe, I do not worry about crime, and that is very important to me. There is plenty of parking. The apartment is small, but quite adequate for my needs and has everything I need....I am especially appreciative of the in-unit stacking washer/dryer. I understand that the complex is undergoing a renovation so the rents will be going up significantly but according to the advertising it looks like the units will be very modern and up to date. They have also been improving the grounds and the outsides of the buildings. The renters seem pleasant, there has never been any trouble at all. The children in the neighborhood are well behaved and always under the supervision of an adult. There is a large pool and a small exercise room. Both seem well kept. Regarding office and maintenance staff, I have had only positive experiences. I did encounter some serious maintenance difficulties with my apartment but I was satisfied with the efforts of staff to resolve the issues. Despite a prolonged period of difficulty, I did NOT feel ignored. Maintenance is always prompt and courteous. The only negative I feel I should mention is that there is a centipede problem. The office will send the exterminators regularly. However I am still finding them maybe 3 times a week. I find these bugs distusting and they are very difficult to catch because they are so fast. I am learning to manage but they are very unpleasant. This is the only complaint I have. I hope this review is helpful.

Been living at the crossings for almost a year and love it! Very clean and well maintained facilities with lots to do! Comfortable and safe environment in a quaint neighbourhood. Great location close to everything!
