The Crossings At Metropark

I just moved in about a month ago and have been really impressed by the helpfulness of everyone here! Daniel from the leasing office really went above and beyond addressing all my very specific questions, and making sure I was set for moving in. So far both maintenance and property management have been kind and responsive, and the community is friendly as well!

I viewed Metropark Station apartments a few weeks ago and the community was very clean and is centrally located. Thank you to the staff for their hospitality and for serving every customer’s needs.

Apartments are full of Rats...! Management does not care even after raising multiple service requests. "To be precise I have raised 8 Service requests in last 15 days.. No response yet.. The funny part is, they have closed all the service requests marked Completed."

I would say the leasing process went very smoothly because of Bobbie was very helpful in explaining everything

Location wise these apartments are good. Close to NJT and major highways but thats the only advantage. Dont just go by the 5 star reviews. Do look at negative reviews before making decision. Here are some of the drawbacks 1. Big never ending rat problem - many units have this problem 2. Heat doesnt work multiple times during peak winter 3. Maintenance can be awful some times 4. Laundry rooms are not well maintained and dirty including machines 5. Car parking is not regulated for residents use only

This place is unbearable. I can't believe such apartments do exist which is unsafe and so overpriced. This place is infected with mice,rats,spiders and every type of insects beyond your imagination. Management and maintenance is careless. Every day I find new holes in the wall and they fix it with sponge to be cut again in few days. If you uh have kids please stay away even if it is ideally located. Keep the safety of your family first. Heater rarely works at night. Apartment is so cold in the morning. Highly not recommended.

Only lasted 5 months in that dump .. we had numerous of issues. From mice issue to noisy neighbors to everything in between. My heater wasn’t even working when we moved in and if it wasn’t for us letting them know, they wouldn’t of known. From day one, the apartment was in horrible shape. We had pest control come 3 times, & they couldn’t even control the mice issue. Have pictures to prove it & still plan on letting the city know what’s going on. My car was hit in the parking & since there were no cameras, I never found out who did it. Management is HORRIBLE. & on top of everything, this place is overpriced. So take my advice, do not waste your time.

Pathetic place to live... Never recommend anyone for this community.. Please talk to resident before move-in. Management are very rude, also they commit 24 hrs maintenance service but no one showed up and you cannot even ask for status. Even face mice within our apartment and call pets control as well Site don’t have negative rating

Seems very good community. Apartments are renovated. Manager Bobbie is very helpful. I went there with my cousin who was looking for an apartment to stay and finalized right there. Bobbie was very helpful in explaining everything as well as expedite the process. Thank you...!

Hi.. we went to take new lease in Metropark station apartments. Leasing office representative Amy received us and she was very polite , provided all information required . We are very much satisfied and happy to be associated with them ...Metropark apartments are 5min walk to train station , very convenient.

I went to Metropark Station Apartments to look to lease a new apartment, and Amy was great with providing information, touring us around the model apartment, and providing information about availability. The complex is very conveniently located near the Metropark station (I walked, and it took about 8 minutes) and Garden State Parkway exit 132 is right in front.

The new dumpster enclosure really looks great when you pull into the parking lot it makes a huge difference. The new landscaping out front looks fantastic, and the best part is I can walk to the store and train station. Very convenient location in a nice quiet little neighborhood.

Overall good community and management. Positive leasing and move in experience.

I leased a renovated apartment (they call partial renovations as renovated) 1.5 months back, faced several issues. Most areas of apartment would be old & used by previous tenant. My apartment had several issues & I had to follow up with their maintenance team to get a few of them rectified. A few I wanted to mention: 1. Water leakage at bathroom ceiling (fixed from roof top after several followup calls. Internal side still pending to be repainted.) 2. Yellow stained toilet seat & lead was of previous tenant (replaced it after several followup calls) 3. Rusted net screen door with broken lock at patio (I asked them to replace it with new as I am paying a renovated apartment rent & they said, they can't install a new. Rather they took it for repainting. It's been 2.5 weeks, they are buying a lock which fits to door. And we are forced to live here with closed glass screen door & we can't even open it to let fresh air in because of insects and flies enter into apt) 5. Apartment wasn't clean at all when leased & we had to clean it when we landed. It was inconvenience to my family & our toddler. 6. Several existing damages A wise experience I would like to share: 1. Their maintenance folks who provide service says, they need approval from property manager to replace stuff & property management office says, maintenance doesn't need any approval. So, no co-ordination between teams. 2. No onsite maintenance person 3. Maintenance emergency number rings, but no one picks up. So residents have to be ready to face emergency situation if any occurs during weekend & wait until Monday. 4. Leasing team will follow up until you lease apartment. Once you become member, they don't care what issues you face. So advertisement with attractive images will give false impression about their management and maintenance teams. 5. Higher rent than other communities around just by putting "renovated" word 6. No parking stickers, so lot of outsiders park here & you won't find parking spot 7. No cleanliness in overall community. Stuffs & toys will be laying outside through out day & night which can cause someone tip over & may face serious injuries. 8. Laundry room will not be clean. People leaving community dump their cloths in room & property management office doesn't care if room is clean or not. 9. Washers & dryers aren't being cleaned regularly & most of them are old machines except a few. I will not recommend this community to anyone.

Great apartments and management. The property is well maintained and walking distance to train station.

I am a big fan of all the improvements I see around the property. I recently transferred into an upgraded renovated unit, and I absolutely love my new apartment it is very stylish. This new apartment has a balcony so I can't wait for warm weather to sit outside. It is a nice quiet community in an awesome location. As a commuter it has everything I need and then some plus it is like 2 times cheaper than living closer to the city. This is an excellent neighborhood that is loaded with malls, restaurants and stores it's like suburbs on steroids. Great place to live, I love it, my only wish is for a pool other than that it is perfect.

This is a wonderful community. I live here with my son and we love it. We have very nice neighbors and my son is able to play outside in a very spacious courtyard in between the buildings. There have been a lot of improvements and upgrades to the property recently. Our laundry room was recently redone, and there has been landscaping upgrades throughout all very nice as a renter it is nice to see money being put back into the property. Overall, a wonderful community there were two movie nights last summer Beauty and the Beast and Wonder Woman, and they were great events. We got to meet neighbors management provided a jumbo screen in the courtyard, popcorn and glow sticks for the kids I would encourage more events like this as we have a nice small community with good people. It is very convenient with stores and restaurants across the street. The surrounding area has everything one needs including the train station across the road.

We have lived here since 2002. Great apartments and management. The property is always well maintained.

I really love the new sidewalk and landscaping path you guys made to the train station. Nice job. Theres a day care & quick check across the street it's the ideal spot for me.

I am a current resident at Crossings at Metropark apartments. When I moved in I didn't know anyone in Iselin. The office staff was very helpful and I was able to sign the lease and move-in within 2 days. I have been living in this place for well over for 16 months and I must say I am having a good time. The train station is very near, and so are the Indian stores. Being an avid photographer, this apartment offers some picturesque spots. The staff are very helpful and fixed our maintenance issues in as little time as possible. When I moved in, I did notice some mice but the maint staff paid multiple visits to eradicate all the mice in my apartment. I'm pretty sure the whole complex is now mice-free and living is very enjoyable here. Kids love this apartment very much because of the huge play area and movie screenings during summer time. Overall, I really love this place!!!

I'm a current resident of metropark station apartment. I don't recommend anyone to stay here because the way they are addressing to the maintenance service request is poor. It's been 2 weeks now since I raised a service request, until now no one turned up. This had not happened before (2 years before) now the management changed and everything is changing and not working properly, RENT only increase. I have called couple of time to report this issue to leasing office but NO USE.

This will be worst option to choose. No onsite office. No laundry in unit. You need to go to common laundry. Prices are too high. You can see other 2 bedroom for price of one bedroom here. Management have increased the rent and have added dishwasher. But there are so many bugs. MICE is very common. We have killed 13 within 10 months. Other Maintence is addressed on their own time frame. Leasing agent will say there is no issue of MICE but you will realise it on very first day and then you got to deal with it. All the verygood reviews are from management. Choose wisely live well.

I am staying in 2 Bedroom apartment. It is very spacious, have good furniture in kitchen, the number of closets, enough parking space, big garden. Good and more laundry machines. Very convenient place for people who commute to NYC. They provide good maintenance service.

The apartment are basic. But rent is less. Lots of bug's and mices. I dont like they don't have leasing office in community. For maintenance we need to call there call center. It take day or two to get maintenance.

Everything seems fine in this community. Very close to meto park station and oak tree road.and close to offices like siements and thornall street offices. A good otion even for people sworking in NY.
