Property Ratings at The Cove at West Covina
Rats and roaches and drugs everywhere. They office staff steal rent money and deposits. They are about to shut down and out of business soon. They place is rotten and bad business. Keep looking you will find something better
The security sucks and makes no attempt at stopping vagrants from going through our laundry and stealing stuff. We walked into a naked man changing and looking through laundry. These apartments show you the beautiful from but never show the back and mention how a few people have had their catalitic converters stolen already.
Since day 1 I noticed roaches everywhere I’ve been telling management and they keep saying pest control will take care it’s so gross!! I’m scared to go to sleep!!! We are clean people!!!! Disgusting place run down and roachesss
I wouldn’t recommend this to to anyone. Dirty, run down, noisy. Complaining won’t do you any good, I always have to call the cops because of noise and fight and they can’t do anything c its private property
This place is overpriced and management doesn’t take care of the people. It takes months for maintenance to even come look at something to be repaired and any issues you have are not addressed It’s loud all the time. People smoke weed right in right do children. Children are loud 24/7, unsupervised, no one picks up after their pets. Slamming metal gates at all hours. No sleep, better sleep in cheap motels !!
It’s loud. Kids run around wild all day and night. No more sleep for me. Inconsiderate neighbors. Leasing office pretends to be nice and if you have any complaints they won’t ever help you
I have lived at the atrium for 6 years. Never had any problems everything is so convenient as far as freeway access, schools, shopping the people in the complex are nice especially the staff and Virginia the property management assures us of anything we need she will get the job done. Love it here highly recommended!!
We had a ceiling leak in our master bedroom that damaged our mattress and possibly contaminated with asbestos. I have requested the air quality report and not received it yet. We are worried that we are stuck in a lease and our safety is at risk. It's been over a month since this happened and we are forced to sleep on the floor. Management refused to remove the mattress and refused to reimburse us for the damages. Now they want us to sign a waiver. As soon, I get free time from work, we are all getting all a check up if we been exposed to any contamination.

I have lived at the complex only approximately 4 months. I have had nothing but the greatest experiences! I have thoroughly enjoyed my apartment. Management and maintenance have been so helpful and attentive. Online service requests are responded to very quickly. Even on Saturdays. I like that there are children playing outside, remember when we used to do that? There have also been activities in the main office to help neighbors get to know each other better. Yes, parking anywhere other than your assigned carport is not great. However, it's not a deal-breaker. Overall, my experience so far, has been way better than a lot of the reviews. Maybe in the past there were issues but as of right now, I am very happy.
I lived in here for one year before deciding this place definitely was not for me. I did not have a roach problem in my unit and I did spot a couple outside the area but my biggest problem was the community and how everybody had a lot of "stuff" on their patios which made the place look extremely trashy... I went to another courtyard and they didn't appear to have that problem so the unit in specifically 1828 are the WORST which is where I ended up moving in (but I was shown a different area)The office staff in the maintenance staff were extremely friendly. They work with me through some personal challenges dealing with my ex roommate and I greatly appreciate it that. I caught a homeless person urinating on the stairwell multiple times. Halfway through my lease they decided to convert over half of the visitor spots to "paid" spots, which really sucks because all of the surrounding parking is permit only after a certain time so it was impossible to have guests stay due to parking issues. If you have more than one car for your residence you're definitely going to be in for some trouble!
bad roach infestation in both apartments many many problems especially with management here. Not family friendly no place for kids to play.
I have been living here for almost a year in the staff is great and my apartment is pretty spacious. My problem is some of my neighbors are super disrespectful for the level of noise they create in the courtyards. It is a pretty much family dominated community. A lot of the apartments have upgraded kitchens and have very big closet space!
