The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Chancellor
I have been living here for two years and have nothing but good things to say about the apartment. The staff has been great and very friendly. Any time I had an issue with anything in the apartment, the maintenance team addressed it promptly—usually within the same day I submitted a request.
My daughter and friends have lived in Chancellor for the past year. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at Chancellor - they TRULY CARE! We were always treated like more than "just a tenant" and I knew my daughter was in a safe, wonderful place. The apartment was amazing! Had University of the Arts not closed, she and her friends would have been there until they graduated. If you are considering a place in Center City, The Chancellor is truly the best!
I lived here in 2016 and when i knew i was coming back to Philly in early 2023, I called one place: The Chancellor. You cannot beat what you get for the price. It is very well maintained, long term employees (5+ years for Franceina leasing agent, Vera property management, and Steve maintenance)... I cannot speak higher of this place FOR THE PRICE. Theres no amenities but that comes with price tier. Laundry room is beautiful and clean. Everything is vacuumed regularly. Front desk people are all super nice.... This is a REAL review LOL... I just graduated Drexel ABSN. I just write this bc of the horror stories i know that exist.
This deal is very hard to beat. The building is cute and old yes but cute. Floors are hardwood, the windows are massive (thanks old building) and honestly the walls are so thick you don’t hear much from neighbors (unless they are extremely loud). The downside is the clubs outside do get loud Friday and Saturday nights. Higher the floor the better for that, but besides that it’s very chill. Everyone’s nice and down to earth. And the price is good since it’s a NORMAL apartment with NORMAL amenities, not crazy stuff like a pool or gym or something you’ll never use. Very much has a family vibe to it. Like getting a hug from grandma. Would reccomend.
I could not have asked for a better place to live for the past 4 years! I lived in an 08 corner unit which got so much sunlight and had a beautiful view of the city! I loved the charm of the built in bookshelves, real hardwood floors, large closets with built in shelves, and other unique touches that come with living in an older building. The only physical downside was no central AC, but maintenance happily assists with installing your window unit if you choose to buy one! Vera, Franceina, and Nanette in the office are beyond friendly and made me feel so comfortable and safe. Every front desk person was wonderful to interact with as well, and maintenance was super speedy and friendly! I wish I could’ve stayed longer.
I really enjoyed the 7 years I spent at The Chancellor. Maintenance is incredibly responsive, my corner apartment was full of light with the large windows, and the front desk employees allowed for packages to be safely held. If you are looking for an easy and central place to live for an affordable price, I highly recommend it.
I've have lived here for almost 2 yrs, and I can say with certainty, if you move here you won't be disappointed. To start, the office staff is amazing, they're very personable, and knowledgable on every issue that I have had. The maintenance is very prompt, and attentive. The front desk staff knowledgable. The only issues that may come up are, the streets at night can get loud, if you're at the front of the building be prepared. Another issue is space, being that I have a studio I had to get creative on where to put furniture. There is also a laundry room runs really smooth. Other than the small issues, this building is great for anybody looking for a new place.
