Property Ratings at The Bluffs at Nine Mile Creek
The apartments are nice and maintenance quick. there are issues with (a) aircon noise, (b) storage space availability, (c) cleanliness in garages, (d) effective communication between residents and management. HOWEVER, I was promised a month of free rent when I moved in and they NEVER honored this. Instead of giving me the month of free rent, they simply didn't charge me a refundable deposit. As refundable deposits are at least partially REFUNDABLE, this is a renege on what they promised. It short changes me something in the realm of $1,000-$1,500. I spent two months and over 20 emails and calls trying to resolve this issue. The staff refused to address the issue. Beware!

Constant noise from upstairs units. Barely see a cleaning crew. Trash has sat in stairwells for weeks. Never vacuumed hallways. Elevator shakes. Tiny garage stall- and your lucky if your garage button works!!! not to mention all the different key fobs you have to use to get into your place. A useless theater room that closes at 10pm. A noise ordinance that starts at 10pm even on weekends! people do not pick up after their dogs, there is poop everywhere! Don't salt sidewalks or parking lots. Hot tub out of service randomly. Definitely NOT worth all the money you pay in rent.

Best community home environment you could hope for in the western suburbs. Being an actor and writer I have lived in many beautiful buildings with great amenities; to include Marina del Rey, California for 10 years. I was fortunate enough to come across The Bluffs in my apartment hunting process. After living here for more than 6 years I am still extremely satisfied. The views are great from high on the hill. The gym is the best I have ever seen in an apartment setting. The equipment includes high quality recumbent and spinning bikes, 2 treadmills, 2 elliptical and various strength training machines comparable to many of the neighborhood gym chains. AND... the gym contains a great sauna and sunbed. We have a beautiful fenced in swimming pool! A large theatre room where you are welcome to join many of your neighbors for a movie on the big screen or have a karaoke party. The Pub room has a pool table, dart board and video golf, as well as large TVs for sporting events. The community room has a beautiful fish tank, huge fireplace and a test kitchen all of which makes it a great place to entertain your guests. The rents are slightly higher than you will find at most other buildings, but remember, you get what you pay for. And it is truly worth every dollar right down to your tall ceilings and enclosed balconies. The Bluffs is very unique because it has a roof top Jacuzzi and putting green. Many people enjoy the rooftop with a glass of wine while watching the sunset while surrounded by the beautiful planters. Others prefer to use our grilling stations and relax on the comfortable outdoor sofas. There is plenty of outside parking as well as 3 underground heated garages and 3 elevators. BEST of all is the very caring and professional staff; who take pride in the cleanliness and upkeep as well as monitoring activities to ensure residents of all ages are HAPPY!!! When I came in for my tour Calleen was so friendly and was a great tour guide! I told her why I was interested in the property and my story behind it. She seemed genuinely interested. She was a very caring employee. You can't find that anywhere these days!
I decided to move to the Bluffs @ Nine Mile Creek after visiting a girlfriend who lived here and really liking it upon my first visit and since moving here myself I must say that- I LOVE living here! I have everything I need to entertain myself and my guests all in one building and I get to call this place 'home'! I also love working out in the fitness center and then relaxing in the sauna room afterwards! I have had family and friends over for movie nights in the theater room as well as on the rooftop where there are bar-b-q grills and a hot tub that's always a favorite place for myself and my guests to hang out while also enjoying the views of the city at night! My apartment here is also so spacious and I love my oversized kitchen and bathroom and not to mention the walk-in closet! I also love that I have a full-sized washer and dryer in my apartment which has saved me so much time and money in itself! I also have a parking space in their underground HEATED garage which has been ESSENTIAL for surviving our Minnesota winters! It's really helped me to start off my morning with ease and comfort in the winters! Overall, this is a great place to live and entertain! I feel very safe here and have made friends with the other residence also who I find are always cheerful and courteous to myself and my guests, and therefore, for all those reasons and more, the Bluffs is truly the best place I've ever lived, I highly recommend it to everyone!
The Bluffs is a great building and everyone (tenants and staff) is very friendly. My first day here I felt very welcome and at home. The building and the grounds are maintained very well. I have a great view from my apartment which is the perfect size for me. The apartment is very nice looking, with great closets. The Bluffs also has great amenities, gym, theater, party room, pub and underground parking!! You'll love it here.
