The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Thank you so much for your kind words! We really appreciate you taking the time out to share your experience with us here at The Berkley. We count ourselves lucky for residents like you. We’re here for you!
The neighborhood is pretty quiet and that's very important to me when looking for a residence. The apartments themselves are not huge but has just the right amount of space for my spouse and I. My apartment has a washer and dryer in the unit, but for those who don't there is a laundry facility on-site. All the neighbors seem to be pleasant or tend to keep to themselves. Also, the office staff are very helpful and friendly. Only real downside to me is the apartment is not as spacious as I would like.
I am finally settled in my Loft. It has a kitchen with a bar, dining area, spacious living room, & a 1/2 bath downstairs. Upstairs there's a very spacious walk-in closet and bedroom, there's also a closet for towels, laundry, or whatever you would like to use it for. There's a spacious bathroom and a small closet in the bathroom as well. This would be great for bath washes, blow dryers, etc. Overall, the Loft is spacious and beautiful. If you like natural light, this would be the apartment for you, if you choose to live at Berkley. Pros: ?Your mail is very, very convenient. You do not have to walk to a mail room like most apartments. Your mail is delivered near your apartment. It takes less than a minute to get to your mail. ?There are two salt water pools on site. ?If your unit, because this one don't, doesn't contain a washer and dryer, there's a laundry facility on site. ?I can not hear my neighbors, which is great. ?Free Wi-Fi near the pools if you have a portable device. ?The staff is very helpful if you have any problems or concerns. ?People here are friendly. Everyone speaks to each other, even if it's a simple hello or how are you. ?It's quiet. They do have noise control from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. ?There's many, many restaurants near by. Kmart, Kroger, two 10 Fitness centers, Fresh Market, shopping centers, etc. ?If you're a college student, you're not far from UALR, Philander Smith College, and others. ?15 mins. away from the downtown area. ?I like to recycle, for those of you who do as well, there's a recycle dumpster on site. ?Fitness center on site. ?A lot of diversity is here. It's always great to see that during apartment hunting. Cons: ? The appliances in the Loft aren't upgraded. There's no microwave. However, it isn't necessarily a problem with me. But for some people it may be. ?It wasn't fully cleaned when I moved in., i.e., move in ready. However, I cleaned myself and got it done. :-) Other comments: No dishes (DirectTV, Dish Network, etc.) are allowed on site. Please do necessary research about your TV provider, such as Sling, Xfinity, AT&T, and others alike. If you choose to have satellite or other atennas, it must be approved. No grills are allowed on site. There are BBQ grills on site. They may be a bit small for some people. Parking is first come, first serve. So you may or may not be able to park near your apartment all the time.
I love living here at Berkley! I live in a one bedroom and it has the biggest floor plan of all the apartments I researched. Super spacious and cute. I've noticed that there's a lot of people here my age, I'm 26. It's really quiet and the neighborhood is nice! Everyone I've talked to here, has been super nice to me! The staff is really helpful, Maintenance comes the same day as my request. :)
The staff was very helpful and gave me alot of information that i needed . The staff contacting me asap once i contacted them about an apartment
