The Belhaven Apartments

The apartments are very nice and in a good location. They are well maintained and offer good amenities, but with limited availability. I find that the amenities are nice, but difficult for the residents to use due to the restrictive use hours that are valid when most residents are reasonably expected to be at work. I think that it is a disingenuous business practice to make some of facilities only available for a fee after the normal workday. This policy should be reconsidered to give resident greater access to the amenities without having to pay a fee of $100 per hour.

Great place. Great value. Great staff. The move in process was easy and the location is great. Lots of homeless in the area but they mind their business. Short walk to restaurants and grocery

I just moved in recently, and I’m very pleased with the apartment. It’s even nicer and cleaner than it appeared in the photos. The rooms and bathrooms are well-kept, and the management team has been exceptionally kind and helpful.

I have enjoyed my time at the belhaven. The staff is very responsive. I have had some unpleasant interactions with residents in the parking deck. Also, being on an emergency route can be annoying because you will hear sirens 10-15 times throughout the day.

Good experience. We had a great time touring the unit and are pleased to be a part of time community. We are going to be moving in today so I hope everything goes well in the future as well. Looking forward to a great experience.

Beautiful place, extremely helpful with moving in. Very quiet and lots of parking. Surrounding area is awesome. Extremely happy with living here.

The value is great and location. Plenty of grocery stores nearby and shopping centers. Easy to walk to restaurants. I love the community park for walking. The closets and bathrooms are spacious! My only concern is the trash room, it’s completely filled each day. The property should look into valet trash or increasing service with waste management.

Nice and convenient area. No noise complaints. Quick response from management. Put in a work order one night and the worker came in the next morning.

Just wish I have anytime access to my storage. Belhaven has a mix up from security not programming the key fobs correctly. The apartment is nice overall and the people who work here have been nice and inviting.

Belhaven isn’t luxury—it’s lip gloss on a lemon. They dressed it up nice, but once you move in, the shine wears off fast. If you’re expecting luxury or security, look elsewhere! Packages go missing like they pay rent too. The “mail room” is just a hallway, and yes, your things will walk. You’ll pay Old Town prices for a Southeast struggle.Nothing about this place matches the marketing.The tour might wow you, but the living will humble you.Don’t fall for the brochure ask a resident first.There is no mail room just a hallway of broken trust.And no, there are no cameras to save you. If you smoke weed, GREAT! Walking through the halls will have you high by the time you put FOB to DOOR. It's a JET 2 HOLIDAY FULL PRICE!

Quick response to maintenance request. The building is kept clean. I wish the gym had more equipments though. Also, I would like to see more community events. It's difficult to get to know your neighbors.

Even though I have just moved in, this has been by far the best rental experience I’ve ever had! The building is extremely clean, the leasing office is extremely helpful and courteous, and it’s in a great location!

Living at Belhaven Apartments in Alexandria has been a great experience overall. I really love the modern feel of the units my apartment has quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and in-unit laundry, which makes life so much easier. The building itself is well-kept, and the amenities are top-notch. I use the gym regularly, and the pool and lounge area are perfect for relaxing after work.

Frequent issues with car theft and break-ins, plus the garage gate has been broken on and off for over a year despite residents still paying about $100/month for parking and only one security camera. Management does nothing about homeless entering daily, sleeping in common areas, and trying to enter residents units. So much potential, but management blames the residents in emails about any issues that occur.

The Belhaven is a great place to live! The building is extremely clean—I’ve never seen a single pest outside while walking my dog, nor have I ever had a single bug creep into my apartment. My unit is modern, nice, well-maintained, and comfortable. In over a year, I’ve only needed maintenance once for a minor issue, and they responded quickly. The leasing office is professional and responsive. Like any apartment, there have been small inconveniences—the parking garage gate has needed repairs a few times, and the elevator has been out on occasion. While these issues can be frustrating, they are always addressed as promptly as possible. Despite these minor setbacks, The Belhaven provides a clean, stylish, and welcoming home. It’s a well-kept community in a great location, and I’m overall very happy living here. I would absolutely recommend it to others.

friendly & helpful staff, move in process was easy and smooth, apartment is clean & updated, property is well-maintained and great community amenities. I'm Active Duty military and received PCS orders on very short notice and the leasing office was able to get me in quickly and made the transition smooth which for anyone who has gone through the process knows is invaluable.

This is the nicest apartment I’ve been to since I moved out on my own. It’s nice and quiet which I appreciate after a long day at work and long commute.

Its been a great experience. I love living in this apartment. The only thing I don't like is how long it's taking them to fix the garage gate.

Absolutely love the building and the community. I have no complaints about anything from pets, to noise, to maintenance. Nothing at all and I would recommend.

My experience at Belhaven has been mostly positive. There are a few issues that need to be addressed once these are addressed I can reevaluate my experience.

I have been living here since Nov 2023, I have liked everything so far: location (close to so many stores and restaurants), quality of the building and apartment, great lease people as well as great management and maintenance teams as well. Provided a bad surprise with the renewal proposal price that is due soon, I'm planning on staying.

Great location, great amenities!!! The staff is wonderful and the entire community is clean and very well maintained. This is a great place for families.

I love living here!! Leasing office is so responsive, everything is so clean. Any maintenence request is filled so quickly. The best feature is the gym, and the regular fitness classes.

We’ve been living at The Belhaven for almost two years, and overall, it has been a good experience. The maintenance staff is responsive, the amenities are well-maintained, and the leasing staff is always courteous and professional. The location is also very convenient for our commutes. There are a few downsides, though. The walls are quite thin, which can be challenging at times, but we’ve come to accept it as part of apartment living. The trash rooms continue to be an issue, though the staff does a great job keeping them clean despite some residents not disposing of their trash properly. One area that could use improvement is the outdoor grounds—there’s been an increase in dog waste not being cleaned up by some residents. While management has placed additional dog waste stations around the property, the problem persists. Parking remains about the same as when we first moved in, which is manageable but could be better. Overall, The Belhaven has been a decent place to live.

I love the leasing and maintenance staff here at The Belhaven Apts. The amenities are great and the building and property are immaculate. Great place to call home!!

It is a new and nice Apartment complex. Management has been professional so far. We’ve been living here since last October. I love the gym, all the appliances are modern.

Fantastic unit layout, decent amenities, good location, has most of what I was looking for (garage, enclosed pool area, nice indoor coworking and lounge). Only missing smart home features and resort style/infinity pool.

Let’s start off with the obvious, this community is beautiful and more than I could’ve asked for. Everything you need here from pet spa, pool, car garage, gym & close to everything is a no brainer.

I love living here, love the convenience of everything around. But the hot water does not stay hot if two people are taking a shower in the 2 bedroom. The pool is not that big but it will do.

Had to rescind my application on an income-based unit due to a recent promotion and they wouldn't refund the $150 deposit I didn't even know they took--the $50 application fee I get but my move-in was weeks away and I never even signed a lease.

While the building boasts a modern appeal with its new construction, it is unfortunately marred by a concerning trend of theft and vandalism within the supposedly secure parking garage. Management's response to these incidents has been less than satisfactory, with victims being told that such crimes are commonplace in the area and certain vehicles are being specifically targeted. Residents are being advised to park on designated floors deemed 'safer,' rather than addressing the root cause of the issue. This serves as a stark reminder that the allure of newness does not always equate to safety and security.

It was so easy to move in and the staff was very helpful. I want to thank Derrick and Nikki for ensuring I met the deadline for the incintives and giving me such an amazing tour in which I signed a leased the next day.

The application process was very simple. The staff is very friendly. The Apartament is beautiful and I love all the ammenities provided. Over all, I am very satisfied.

I just toured this fabulous property. The staff was very profess, the amenities and apartments are top notch, and it's located in a very convenient location. I was especially liked the two floor fitness room and the co-working space with private meeting rooms.

Went to tour the property and I was blown away by how friendly the staff is. Very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and awesome amenities. Highly recommend
