Property Ratings at The Aventine Greenville
The worst management. All automated communication and when you go in or call to speak to a person, they never give the same information twice. No one knows what is going on. They also do like 6 apartment checks a year where they walk through your personal space with or without you.

Biggest office issue is with the mail/package delivery and pickup process. The package lockers were obviously overwhelmed with the resident capacity. It would have been nice for the office to provide better security and communication when those packages arrived. There were multiple cases where something showed “delivered” by USPS/Amazon/FedEx but took weeks to receive notice that the package had reached the office. When I went to look in the mail room there was zero organization and there were loose packages all over the floor.
The area is great, peaceful, besides the traffic. Good amenities on site and nearby.
Great location, good amenities (when they're open), but the gate was constantly broken and we received information at the last possibly second (day before painting on our building) or not at all (gate being broken or new work happening).
I would (and have) recommended the Aventine to some professionals seeking a corporate apartment in Greenville.

The location is perfect. The office staff and maintenance crew are amazing! And the community is beautiful.
I've been here less than a week. But every interaction I've had with staff has been awesome. They all care about the property and the residents
I loved it here. It was clean, there's ample parking close to every unit, the pool had a great atmosphere. It's close to all the shopping needs I could have, and I felt really safe while taking runs around the area.
The leasing agent Rhonda was helpful and sweet. She gave us a great experience, especially with the application process. Also the complex is beautiful.
We loved the Aventine, we still talk about it and how much we miss the Aventine. We moved out over a year ago and it's how we judge other apartments. Inside of the apartments are fantastic. The pool was awesome. The location can't be beat, I'm not sure really now with the construction and highway confusion, but before all that it was fantastic. If we ever move back to Greenville, The Aventine will be our first choice.
I recommend this community bc of the location, the nice amenities and the apartments are beautiful.

Why: close to shops and restaurants, downtown 15 mins away, close to work, has a 24 hour gym. Why not: price, amenities not maintained, repairs don correctly 50% of the time, dog poop everywhere- need a better way to enforce penally (Cameras, DNA testing, etc)
I would recommend because of the location, the apartment homes themselves, such as kitchen cabinets, granite counter tops and etc.. are nice and in good shape. I would not recommend these apartments because you can hear everything!! walls are very thin and neighbors can be very loud

This community is great! The apartment is well maintained and amply sized for our needs and the location is fantastic!
I recommend this place because location, I not recommend this place because general maintenance is not good, people behavior is not good at all (dog waste in all the grass, parking cars on ramp access, personal item over common areas allowed, party with high volume until 1-3 am allowed, party in pool with bad behavior allowed.
I would recommend but the walls are thin and the pool gets ROWDY
This is my first time renting. I owned a condo before and did not have any shared walls. There was been more noise from above and both sides than I expected. The noise is both louder and more constant that I expected.
I love this community. It is a very nice place to live and a reasonable price. If they could improve anything I would like to see more community events and a way to meet neighbors.
Too noisy. Maybe I just have disrespectful neighbors but I can hear them every night. Hollering, TV blaring and banging around. I chose a 3rd apartment to eliminate some of this but hasn't helped.
One down side is that the apartments are no smoke free. At times this creates an uncomfortable environment to live in. Due to connectivity of vents and construction of apartments, if you neighbor smokes unfortunately you do too. For individuals with allergies this can be tremendously difficult. Also for the preservation and cost benefit of the units, having smoke free units would be a plus.
The office staff is the best! The facilities are clean and well maintained. It is a pleasure to live here!
I would recommend to a friend however, I would tell them to make sure they will not need to get out of their lease early because it is impossible.
If they want to write the check, this area is better than most in Greenville.
Personally for me I moved in to this apartment complex with luxury and safety in mind. The apartment itself definitely meets my standards as far as luxury however the gate stays broken which served as a sense of security for me. I feel as if the apartment gym and lounge area are fairly average and a bit small for the amount of residents the complex holds. I would love to see greater enforcement on those with pets because I constantly walk out into my "yard" and have to dodge dog poop, a bit annoying.
I love the place and the people but I'd find it hard to recommend it considering the gate issue.
The hallways and some other common areas get pretty filthy (leaking trash, lights out, dirt and dust, etc.). If that can be fixed, if would address my primary complaint.
We have lived here 2 years since moving to SC. Since moving, the complex changed ownership. We've had issues with our AC leaking and making very loud noises, which maintenance has come out to fix 9 separate times, still not fixed. Our shower has been broken for months, over 4 separate attempts to fix left it in the same condition. Wiring randomly trips the ground fault circuit. One of the grills is missing all the control knobs. The vaccum for the car wash station doesn't work. Gym equipment sits broken for months and then just gets removed for months at a time. Last year the pool was literally cloudy and uncleaned for long periods of time. Community trash cans often are overflowing. Pool tiles get broken and remain that way for months. I could go on, but I think the point had been made. This place has gone down hill fast. The interest has shifted from maintaining a nice place to driving tenants through. Do yourself a favor and choose a newer complex where they still care at least a little

We regret to hear that you had a negative experience with us, but would appreciate the chance to turn your experience around. I reviewed these items with maintenance team and most are complete. We are working on the vacuum at the car wash because it requires re-wiring as they do not make the same control board as our vacuum requires, so this might be a week or two longer. The fitness center had the elliptical machines replaced earlier this year and we are planning an upgrade to other items.
