I love living at the atherton - all of the amenities are nice and the staff here is super helpful. The apartment is also in a perfect location where you can walk to basically any store you would need. Our layout is very spacious and includes updated appliances.

I have been living here for 8 months and so I am enjoying the warmer months more because it seems more people are out. The winter months the building tries to have activities but not a lot of people go so it’s been a little more hard to meet other residents. The facility is very clean and plenty of room to work, work out, hangout in different areas. The landscaping is kept up with often and the maintenance team always responds so quickly. Parking on weekends is a little bit of a hassle and there are not enough guest spots.

There are a lot of positives about living at the Atherton. Unfortunately, there are some cons, too. For instance, the hallways aren't well-maintained, with scuffs on the walls and chipped paint. The parking garage is also annoying, especially with non-residents trying to drive up only to realize they have to turn around on the weekend. The fire alarm also frequently goes off, whether at 1:00am or in the afternoon during frequent testing without warning.

Overall, very clean and organized apartments. Maintenance has been very helpful to fix issues that we did have. Location is great so that is also a plus. The price is expensive but worth the convenience of living in a good spot of South End with good neighbors.

The apartment is great, front office and maintenance staff are attentive and friendly. The events are always great. Only complaint is the parking company they utilize (LMS) is incompetent and predatory. Other than that, great place to live

Living at The Atherton is great! It’s convenient to everything from shops to breweries and restaurants, to workout studios, salons, and more. The atherton has been a wonderful place to call home for the last 2 years but the experience has gone downhill due to staffing changes. The staff themselves are great the turnover has just made for gaps in current staffs knowledge and the loss of the weekly resident event that the leasing office used to throw. Add in the consistent elevator problems, the malfuntioning fire alarms, and the pool closure the property could use some work to be worth its high rent.
Great place to live all the staff is super helpful! Each request is always taken with the upmost care. I would recommend anyone to live here!

The Atherton is a great place. The gym and club spaces are always super clean and it smells amazing throughout the apartment. The only thing is we are on the 5th floor and our neighbors above us are very loud.

I absolutely love living at the Atherton! I have been living here for almost 2 years and I can’t imagine living anywhere else in the Charlotte area. This complex is in the perfect location and is in walking distance to many stores, restaurants, and bars. The other residence here are extremely nice and I love the community.

The actual move in process was great, everything went very smoothly. Unfortunately since moving in we have had issues with an elevator shaft next to our apartment which has meant entering and exiting the building has been longer than anticipated.

I love living at the Atherton! Very lively area with lots of good food, music and drinks. There's lots of retail within a very short walk, and its right on the rail trail to getting into uptown is really easy.
Awesome place to live! Super modern, great location and helpful leasing office. The amenities are great. They also do fun events every month.
The Atherton is in the heart of South End. It is a great place to live. The amenities are incredible, the gym is always very clean, they always have coffee and tea in the club room.
Pricing for the apartments is too high. Good community but there are amenities pretty consistently broken. The gates elevators temd to have operating issues. The pool is great. I wish there was more seating for the number of residents.
Just moved in, so I can’t speak for all of the elements of living here. However, the move in and leasing process was super smooth. Jenna, Rhonda, and Rosa were all super helpful and provided answers to any and all of our questions (and we asked a lot of things hehehe). I have never had a smoother move in process in my life. Highly recommend this place for peace and ease of transition, while still moving into the heart of bustling south end. Absolutely love this place.
I’ve been working with this wonderful group of people for quite a while. They’re always very professional and very helpful with anything I need. Best office staff ever and property is in immaculate shape. Would definitely recommend to any and all. Bravo. Well done.

I've lived in this apartment building for a month now, and I love it! The management is responsive, and maintenance requests are handled quickly. The amenities, like the gym and rooftop terrace, are fantastic. The location is so convenient & the friendly community makes it feel like home. Highly recommend!

You pay for the amenities and location of the property. Units are decent, cleaning around the complex needs to be improved. Access to the building can be difficult for visitors and delivery services, call box should be installed at leasing office entrance in back parking garage.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time as a resident and have particularly enjoyed the location of this complex. The staff are very helpful, only issue is difficulty reach them at times.
So far so good! The views, amenities, and staff are all amazing!! It’s the perfect location with everything you can think of around it, stores, shopping, grocery’s, restaurants, bars and everyone is so kind and inviting in south end !
