Located in one of metropolitan D.C.’s most renowned places to live, Alta Vista is a small neighborhood with upscale apartment complexes and pretty farmhouse-style homes for rent. The area is mainly residential but there are several churches and medical facilities within its borders. There is also plenty of greenery in Alta Vista for resident to enjoy. Maplewood Park has ball fields and tennis and basketball courts.
This community is a part of Bethesda, which is known for its amenities. Locals in Alta Vista can take either Old Georgetown Road or Rockville Pike down to the heart of Bethesda. Property Ratings at The Astrid
As a whole, the apartment is clean and lovable, but the noise outside and inside could be bigger than expected. The customer service from the concierge and leasing management is pretty good. But I discovered some spikes on the edges of carpets in rooms. Whenever I step on the parts, it hurt my feet pretty hard. I want it to be repaired as soon as possible.

Clean, but noisy inside and outside. I love the beautiful view from the window. Customer service is excellent. But there is some room for improvement.

This place is new and clean, gym room equipment is full of choices. Shuttle service is very convenient, if Astrid can extend the shuttle service to weekend as well, that will be excellent.

So far it has been quiet and clean. 24/7 Concierge is nice to have. Parking is relatively easy. Communal spaces are nice. Relaxing vibe in the building.

Astrid is a very beautiful European style space and the surroundings are very clean. The building is located in a very open and environmentally conscious area with trees and plants everywhere making the air quality very high.

I recently moved in during one of the busiest weeks of my life—graduation weekend—and I couldn’t have done it without the incredible help of Adria from the leasing office. Everything has been super smooth so far! Got the full tour from mark and he was helpful in answering any questions. Ashely helped us with getting our keys and walking us through all the apps. She made it easy and straight forward. The property is quiet and very inviting. Plenty of parking in the garage as well. I can’t wait to start using more of the amenities! I love living at the Astrid! I really enjoy the themed events hosted (for example the Mardi Gras event). I also really love the amount of space there is to study and work from home! I've had the opportunity to workout at the gym and I love that there is a water machine in there (very convenient)!

I like The Astrid a lot. From the beautiful finished in each lounge area , to how much “activity” goes on (weekly events, we have a market now!! And brining special guests). Also I love the team as a whole. Lots of great people.

Nice , clean and organized building. The work area and the lobby is gorgeous Staff is very helpful/ Wish there was a dog park or designated pet relief area but otherwise great experience so far.

I’ve lived here since April 2023 and have had zero issues and am really happy with the building. It is very clean and the neighbors are very nice. All the amenities work and the staff is very friendly

Just moved in recently and we love the environment. The amenities work nicely. 24 hour concierge is very helpful at all hours. Parking garage has plenty of spots and ev chargers!

Package room is in need of attention. Packages are rarely left in the correct place above the displayed signs. Everything else has been wonderful. Staff is friendly and helpful. Beautiful design , and common areas are always very clean. They host events that seem fun but I have been too busy to attend.

The maintenance team and staff here are so friendly and so responsive and I’ve worked in property management before! It’s been a great experience so far as a renter who normally just sticks to themselves and doesn’t have a ton of complaints. Would recommend.

Really nice layout of the Appartments, however would like to see more amenities available for the price being paid. They do have nice features like please assist me service that help you running errands, chores etc. Haven’t used them but looking forward to it

I have recently moved to The Astrid and my experience has been truly great. The leasing team, maintenance and the concierges are always ready and willing to help in no time. Special shout out to Adria, Ashley and Jessica from the leasing team, and Orlando who is one of the concierges for their help during our move. The common areas are pristine and gorgeous. The apartment looks awesome and the appliances are high quality. I cannot recommend it enough!
