It's been ok. Our dishwashers been having problems again. When we first moved in we had to get it replaced. Now this one's having trouble and might have to get another one.

Great location. Close to retail shopping, medical facilities, & restaurants. The grounds are immaculate. Leasing office personnel are always friendly & helpful. Maintenance requests are promptly acknowledged & attended to. The maintenance staff are always nice & don’t leave a mess. Safe place to live. All ages are welcome.

Beautiful grounds, immaculate grounds and buildings. Quite! Lots of friendly folk and dogs. Loved having my dinner out on the patio. Parking is plentiful. Lovely scent in the halls. I am very happy here after 1 week.

The Ashby is a wonderful place to live not only are we close to shopping and dining we’re just a trolley ride away from downtown! It’s a place I call home!

The staff (office and maintenance) are absolutely awesome. That's something I can't exaggerate or over-emphasize in the slightest. The pool, gym, landscaping, and rec room (pool table, TV, etc.) are great, always clean, and perks on the property. It's close to everything (the T, the mall, Giant Eagle, Eat N Park, movie theater, etc.), and the food trucks in the summer and other activities are always great as well. The only downsides? It can be noisy during the day, especially during open window weather, and there is little in the way of any sound proofing whatsoever. The heating and AC do OK, but you'll see a big jump in your electric bill those months. The pros outweigh the cons by a wide margin. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great apartment.

I'm very happy to be here. Great management, great facilities maintenance and I continue to be impressed with the landscaping. I've made many new friends through the dog park. Quite sure I will renew my lease.

Great community and nice apartment with awesome amenities. The leasing managers are very helpful and it was so easy to move in. The annual pool party was a blast and a fun way to get to know a lot of the residents!

Grounds are well maintained year round. Staff are friendly & responsive to resident’s needs & requests. Maintenance requests are resolved in a timely manner. Apartments are spacious & lovely. Common spaces are beautiful. Close to medical facilities, grocery stores & retail shopping. All ages are welcome here!

The Ashby is a great place to live and well maintained. Although it is disappointing that the pool still hasn’t been restored to it’s pre-covid capacity or aesthetic.

I appreciate being able to walk pretty much everywhere I need to go. I appreciate my apartment and enjoy being able to take the t downtown for baseball games and other activities. I can’t wait for the pool to open.

While the sound can get a bit annoying of the garbage trucks, landscaping/lawnmowing equipment, moving/delivery trucks, etc. due to poor noise-proofing, there's nothing else negative to offer. The location is great, the pool and gym and clubhouse are great, the staff are awesome, maintenance is always timely and great. Very happy here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to live.

Love The Ashby. A nice quiet, modern apartment complex, with a managing staff that truly cares about the residents and their experience living here.

I’ve lived at The Ashby for 1 month. The other residents that I’ve met have been friendly and helpful. There is one neighbor above me that is very loud/likes to party on the weekends but other than that it’s quiet, including the residents who have dogs. The noise from the T - light rail train is MUCH noisier than expected- hopefully I will get used to it. The kitchen appliances are very basic contractor specials and need to be upgraded, my Electric Stove is scratched. Refrigerators with Ice and Water should be standard. The Coffee Bar in the lobby is a nice amenity.

Very friendly staff and residents! Super convenient location and great floor plans to choose from. Also, very quiet! Non-smoking property was the deciding factor for me!

Safe to live here. Close to shopping, restaurants, & healthcare facilities. Grounds well maintained. Snow removal on sidewalks & street is great. Maintenance requests resolved promptly by friendly qualified staff. Financial and operational issues answered/resolved promptly by the Office Manager & staff. They are friendly, professional & helpful. I’ve lived here for 6 wonderful years!

I call The Ashby my home! It’s truly a wonderful place to live. It’s within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, movies and the PRT! I have meet some many friends. The amenities are amazing! The entire Ashby Staff are amazing!

I like my apartment. I like that it is close enough for me to walk to work.i like that there is a secure mail room. Can’t wait to use the pool!

The good: Staff, maintenance, pool, gym, location, The bad: Zero noise barrier from outside or the hall or the floor above/below you, which makes it sound like a construction site especially in the warmer months, and that's essentially it.

I'm very pleased to be at the Ashby. I love my apartment and the team is very responsive, The facilities - that pesky coffee machine aside - kept neat, clean and in good order. With the winter weather I've been pleased to see the maintenance teams keeping the roads and sidewalks cleared and salted. I in particular use the workout facilities and dog park and look forward to the summer and enjoying the pool and grounds.

This is a wonderful residential community in a prime location! Danielle, the business manager, and her staff are always available and go above and beyond to help!

I’m a transgender woman and I have lived at the Ashby for a few years. I have had numerous issues with other residents who are transphobic that have said some pretty inappropriate things to me. I have also had issues with certain residents feeling the need to harass me and bang on my door at 11pm. This place is definitely not a fit for Trans women like myself.

Very nice complex and updated apartments. Very safe and friendly area. Conveniently located to my work place and easy to navigate downtown and to surrounding areas.

The Ashby is always beautiful, whatever season it is. The grounds are impeccable. The people who live here are all very friendly. The dog park is beautiful, there are so many nice dogs and their owners. The office staff, Danielle and Aaron, are always welcoming and helpful. The maintenance staff is second to none, they’re always friendly and prompt to fix whatever the Issue may be.

This complex is amazing, I absolutely love living here. Everyone is so kind, it’s so clean here, and the gym is great and never over crowded. The coffee bar is also a huge plus!

Best rental property in the South Hills! Within walking distance to: retail; professional offices and light rail transit to downtown. The staff is professional and the maintenance is almost clairvoyant. Building hygiene is very good even-though dogs and cats are permitted. Rent and utilities increases are reasonable and other tenants are, for the most, part courteous.

To start, the staff including maintenance are awesome. Absolutely 0 complaints on that front. Why they built this complex out of wood instead of concrete/cinder blocks, I'll never know, as that means there is virtually zero noise proofing in the apartment. You'll hear things outside and in the hall, be it car alarms, barking dogs, people talking, etc. Pool, gym, and landscaping are all great. Heating/AC is a bit weak and run frequently in the winter/summer respectively to keep the apartment warm/cool. Overall, I would and do highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice apartment in a great location with a pool and gym and exceptionally friendly and responsive staff.

I love my spacious apartment and how easy it is for me to get to work on time. I like the access to the T and the pool. My parents love coming over to swim. They reminded me today that when I was little, I begged to have a pool in the back yard!

My wife and I really enjoy leaving here. We have made friends with some of the tenants and we all go swimming and sit around the fire pit. The management team is very good, Danielle an her staff are right on top of things. Plus the location is great for shopping,restaurant's and entertainment
