Property Ratings at The Ascher
The community amenities are really nice. That aesthetic is also really great. The downside is that the staff is really low and they don’t prioritize phone calls or reaching back out through emails. It took a while for my car to get registered, which is something that should’ve been sent over before I picked up my move in keys. Luckily the gift card concession did not take long to be sent over to me. The other downside is that it’s a very pet friendly environment so I think for the size of the buildings, the north and south side of the building the property needs a bigger staff to not only help with cleanliness and hold residents accountable to not respecting the properties clean this with their animals but to make sure everything is up to the appropriate standards.
My first impression after moving in wasn’t totally the best. It took a minute to get my car registered so having to constantly ask the desk for a QR so I didn’t have to pay for parking until they got me registered was getting annoying. The leasing office is hard to reach especially if you work the same hours as the office. They don’t reply to emails and its hard to get through calls. It’s a very dog friendly place but the cleanliness outside the building isn’t totally the best either. If there’s cameras people need to be held more accountable for letting their dogs potty in front the entrances or the build and parking entrance/exits. I love my new place but there’s pros and cons to it for sure.
My move in experience was stressful and unplanned. The leasing staff wasn’t expecting my arrival.

It’s a decent building. The view is nice. There’s a lot of young residents, but there haven’t been any issues thus fa. It’s decent for what you’re paying.

I think the Building smell & maintenance could be better. Leasing staff also could be friendly. The attitudes & tone makes you not want to deal with or ask for any help pertaining issues you have.Building is outdated as well. The ceiling design is also odd. Being that it looks halfway done.

The water at the dog park is very hot and hurt my dog I made a complaint which was never addressed. There was an issue with the fob and I was locked out of the building and elevator for 3 weeks had to wait to be let in. Among other things

The biggest problem is the elevators not working. From I’m understanding this has been gone on for years. Also it more about the residence here, who don’t care about how this place looks. Like leaving trash in the hallway and stairs. Just in general things haven’t been working and taking a long time to fix ie, pool and the copier. The lobby floors and elevator are always disgusting but that is because of residence that don’t care. It’s embarrassing to have guest come to visit.

The Ascher is ok. I love my apartment but I do not like the building. The property management is really trying to improve and maintain the property but it’s the people that live here.

I like living at the Ascher, the community is usually clean and well taken care of. I love the mailing system and concierge service upfront because they are very responsive. I have noticed that getting replies to emails are hit or miss, and maintenance does not come quickly after submitting requests. The elevators are also hit or miss, because they break randomly. Living at the Ascher has been a positive experience so far, I just wish it was easier to get on the phone with the front desk.

Elevators are always down. It smells at the main entrance most of the time. Parking for residents guests is scarce. Other than that, it isn’t too bad.

Right around the end of the first lease most people start to dislike the building. Often 1 or 2 elevators of a 3-elevator building are down. The doorway to the stairwell is always locked, so you can't take the stairs. So, you have to wait, 4,5,6 minutes for the elevator Dog poop is everywhere. I vacated my apartment several days early, I wasn't reimbursed for the days I was not in the property. I still have not received my itemized end of lease paperwork. The building had to be completely vacated twice! Save yourself some stress!

HORRIBLE! Why am I paying for amenities when the pool hasn’t been open for over a year, the mailroom lockers don’t work (MY PASSPORT WAS LITERALLY STOLEN BECAUSE OF THIS), people are just being let up without a call from the front desk so there’s no safety, and what in the world is going on with the parking a garage????? It’s all a hot mess. Also, the lobby reeks of dog pee and dumpster trash ALL THE TIME!

My biggest issue is with Maintenence closing my requests without addressing the issues and theres limited parking for guests. The amenities are fine and the staff is kind. The have free coffee and cakes in the lobby so that's a nice touch too.

Could be better. The apartment has done lots of renovations but until management gets better, this place will never be 100%. Each day I ask myself why I signed this lease even after looking at the bad reviews. Stay away from here!

The best thing about this place is the area I initially had a lot of issues moving in. Bugs in my fridge they came to try to clean and fix it after I said it need to be replaced. Then it went out and all my food went bad after I noticed the stuff in my freezer wasn’t freezing. Then they gave me a new refrigerator. My blinds have been dirty and raggedy since I moved in this place was not thoroughly cleaned upon move in. The cabinet drawer is broken I noticed a shelf missing they brought me one. Every issue I had I have to say something when these are things that should’ve been inspected prior to me moving in. The best thing about this place is the price and location but I will not stay if I have to pay more.

I love it here 2nd time around but my maintenance issues are never resolved though but other than that this is my happy place! I would definitely recommend if you can stomach a little dog smell and the less fortunate always sleeping by the door or on the garage

I am concerned about my packages. I've had a few packages that were lost. The aparment kitchen and floors are dated. I feel like painting the cabinets white or gray and getting new lighter floors in the apartments would make the apartments look so much better.

My roommate and I had an extremely difficult move in experience. Largely due to our leasing agent giving us ample amounts of misinformation, as well as neglecting to give or failing to know critical information. It’s impossible to get a timely response to emailed questions or requests, but the office staff is very helpful if you go in person. Everyone else in the community, besides our leasing agent, has been helpful and very kind, so thankfully that has helped save it! The facility itself is beautiful, safe, and well kept in my opinion.

Hoping new management comes in and fixes everything the last manager ruined. The property went downhill while Molly was manager. The place needs renovations bad.

The gym has been closed for a month because the floors are being redone but they haven’t started on it. However we are still required to pay for amenities. They do not response back to emails. Lobby floors need to be redone. Dog’s poop are not being picked up or not being In the designated spots. Elevators are nasty but it’s because of the residence. They get an extra star because all elevators are working. Hopefully it will last.
