Property Ratings at The Arcadia
Maintenance does good work but could use some customer service training on how to speak to people respectfully. The new management has tried to crack down on people not following the guidelines for parking and valet trash, but people are too lazy and/or entitled to do what they should. I've lived here for a year and love my apartment so much I renewed for the longest term possible. The gym is nice and kept clean.
We were one of the first people to move in and it's been a horrible experience so far. There have been multiple break-ins since March. There were break ins 2 nights in a row and management was never present, and they have done nothing to try and provide proper security. The new manager sent an email saying that they were going to add a security fence around the apartments, but they added a chain link fence "playground fence", only on the front side of the apartment and it doesn't do anything because they didn't even add gates to close up the property. There are multiple entrances on the side of the apartments and there has been homeless people sleeping in the elevators, patios and on the stairs. Anyone can come in and out as they please and there are no security cameras. There is enough parking for everyone in the parking lot, but most people park near the curb, an unassigned parking space, because everyone is watching out for their cars. This is supposed to be luxury apartments and we pay the price for it, but we sure don't live in them.
