The worst neighborhood, horrible management, horrible pest control, .... other than maintenance and the tiny dicoubtcyiu get for being Rutgers affiliated , there’s absolutely nothing good to say about this horrid place. They should be ashamed of all their lies to prospective tenants and treating my family like trash after two years of complaints, horrid noise and disregard for my child from neighbors , and horrible pest control problems... I thank God to be moving out this Sunday . I hope to never step foot in this dump again. I only wish I didn’t work so hard to pay rent every month to live in a dump with bugs

Renters beware! What you see isn’t exactly what you get. I suggest seeing the available apartments before deciding to move in. The model apartments they show you/promote online aren’t the apartments you get. Windows are not very insulated, and don’t keep noises out. You hear everything at night, which doesn’t help with sleep. The floors were glossed and done by an amateur, footprints left in gloss and the edges are rippled. Apartments do not have the chair-rail trim like they promote, and the kitchen cabinets and backsplash are not what you get either. The walls are terribly insulated, you hear your neighbors like they were in your apartment with you. We have to turn our tv on high volume just to drown out our neighbors. If you’re looking for piece and quiet, these apartments are not for you. The community makes us feel like we’re living in the projects. There’s a lot that needs to be fixed in and out of these apartments to live up to what they are trying to promote/sell you. So be very cautious going in.

I had a tour at the Arbors today and I absolutely love the place. I met with Christina and she was amazing, very sweet and professional. The apartment that she showed me was newly renovated and very spacious. It included storage space and kitchen counter space to accommodate my needs. I looked at the 3 bedroom apartment and there was enough room to accommodate my growing family. As I drove through the complex I noticed how well kept the place was and it’s also a plus to have the schools so close to the place. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to lease.

Spacious, newly updated apartments! Dominique was amazing and walked me and my fiancé throughout the whole process and even let us pick which unit we want. Highly recommend!

A friend and I were struggling to find a last minute place to stay, but we were lucky to find the Arbors! The lady, Dominique, was so nice and helpful. Not only was she able to help us find a place within a very short time period, but she was patient enough to walk us along each step of the way. 5/5 customer service!!

These apartments were great to live in! They are beautifully designed, equipped with washer/dryer right in the closet of the living room so laundry was a breeze! The people in the leasing office were awesome to deal with & anytime something needed to be taken care of in the apartment they sent maintenance over pretty quickly. I loved living here and if they had one bedrooms I would have continued to live here however, I was renting a 2 bedroom with a roommate that I no longer am renting with. The only complaint I had was that my apartment was close to a field a lot of the children in the complex would play in and working night shift I had to sleep through the the day /afternoon and it was hard sometimes because I could hear them screaming and cursing( young kids cursing!!) outside of my window.

Dominique showed myself and my mother a gorgeous apartment and answered all of our questions before we even had to ask them. I’m under an extreme time crunch and despite her busy schedule she managed to take us through the lease signing process immediately and seamlessly. We leased an apartment within a few hours which was incredible and such a relief.

Just got approved for a unit at the Arbors. The process was way simpler than i expected, and staff there were ready to answer any questions I may have had. I was able to come at my convenience to see the unit and to drop off paperwork, which made a usually difficult process easily fit into my schedule. Can't wait to move in, it's a wonderful property!

The apartments are on the smaller side so i recommend small families to move in to this perticular property. The staff and community sends a welcome home vibe. Kitchen is remodeled and updated and matches up with the bathroom which i really like.

Every so often there will be no hot water. This is not a luxury commodity but a necessity that should be readily available. When trying to contact management, the phone rings with no ending. No voicemail, no options, just ringing forever. Awful management and hot water should be guranteed. Rent somewhere else.

I have lived here for anyear and I can't complain. Anytime I had a complaint or an issue with my apartment it was taken care of right away. Everyone is really nice there on staff , especially Carmen !!!she is soooo sweet and really cares about her job. When ever I went to the front desk to speak with Carmen with concerns or issues she always took care of it or provide me with the answers I need .

Me and two friends rent a 3 bedroom. It is much cheaper than dorming and much nicer than NB houses. Maintenance is super nice and helpful. Helped me shovel out my car recently. Office staff nice. We get a discount because we attend Rutgers. I wish we had 3 parking spaces.

I have been here for 6 months with a roomies. Inside apartments are nice , outside is a little dated and older looking. Maintenance is always nice and fast.

My Family and I love living here, it’s spacious and cozy. It’s going on two years and we haven’t looked back.The lady at the front desk Carmen is so helpful and down to earth which is a plus. Definitely would recommend the Arbors for anyone looking to call this place home. L.G.

I love it here! Maintenance and customer service are fast, nice and efficient. My updated kitchen and bathroom along with washer n dryer are my favorite. The master bedroom is large enough to fit a king sized bed and still have enough room for a comfy recliner. I am glad I moved here...????

Pros: Maintenance was usually helpful, nice units (new paint and counter tops, working/clean appliances), close to major highways and Rutgers. Cons: Management did nothing about our neighbors, who had what seemed to be too many people living in the unit. They played loud music constantly and catcalled us/asked us for money. The parking is terrible if you don't have the pass for the lots, as you can park only on one side of the street. If you work late or go out at night, you'll have a hard time finding a spot when you get back. There was a boarded-up house on our street with trash all over the place. It's cheaper than a lot of the places closer to campus, but I don't miss living there.

don't rent here, this place is too expensive and not worth the cost.no heater in the rooms and only one big and noisy heater in the living room which pumps all your light bill. 3 bedroom and only one bathroom,you have to be waiting every morning for others to shower. tiny rooms and summer time you have to be up any time they decide to cut the grass because of 1930's machines they have. stay away from this place please.

We have just finished one lease in The Arbors and are doing the second one. We love the location and property is well-managed. You can't play music how you want to because of annoying, complaining neighbors. They tow your car, even WHEN they have the license plate registered as the person being a resident. Was extremely late to work because plowing of the parking lot was nonexistent: you have to wake up about 3 hours in advance to shovel your way out during winter months because they will NOT do a decent job for you. Others blast music for the whole apartment complex to hear at 1 or 2 in the morning, and the kids are rowdy.

Thank you for your recent review. I can understand your frustration regarding complaining neighbors. It is our policy to address all complaints we receive in the office. Although there is no policy against music play, we ask that music is not played loud enough to interfere with the right to quiet enjoyment of other residents. Residents are issued parking permits when they register their vehicle in the office. Unfortunately, any vehicles not bearing a parking permit do run the risk of being towed. We were very fortunate this year in reference to snow storms; we did however have that huge blizzard that dumped close to 2 feet of snow. Our contractor and maintenance crew were out working diligently to clear all sidewalks and parking lots. It may have taken longer than usual to clear all the snow but only due to the intensity of the storm. Our community is made up of two and three bedroom apartment homes. You will find that there are many families in the area, and children playing outside on warmer days. If you would like to discuss your concerns further, I invite you to stop by my office.
