If you follow the Mopac Expressway north from Austin until it intersects with Highway 183, you’ll find the North Shoal Creek neighborhood. The intersection of these major roadways form the neighborhood’s north boundary, providing easy commutes for residents. Those who prefer mass transit will find ample bus service, and those who want to ride their bike to work or walk can make use of the neighborhood’s plentiful sidewalks and bike lanes. Students will find the University of Texas at Austin just six miles south, and Downtown Austin is eight miles south.
North Shoal Creek is a popular option for renters. The neighborhood provides an urban atmosphere and a variety of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops. Those with children also prefer North Shoal Creek for its top-rated school system. There’s one park in the neighborhood, Pillow School Park, but several others are located nearby. Residents shop at Village Shopping Center, which is also home to the Alamo Draftouse Cinema Village.

This place is great! Right in the middle of it all here in North Central. I was a transplant in Austin with no place to go but I'm glad I found The Albright.

These apartments are fantastic. There’s great amenities, the finishes are really nice, and the location is perfect. There have been a couple small issues here and there, but the team has been super responsive and quick to handle those. Plus, the team is always so friendly and welcoming.

While amenities are beautiful and staff is nice, the ball continues to be dropped on very routine processes. When I applied, I had to call and follow-up as the amount of time for the approval went longer than quoted. When I signed the lease, I had to follow up so management could sign their portion. When I moved in, I had to call on move-in day and follow-up to receive documents that were not sent. In my unit, appliances weren’t plugged in. The power was out for two days and residents were literally in the dark as management sent no communication until over a day into the issue. Maintenance lollygags and management is seemingly oblivious as issues go on forever and ever. There’s potential for this to be a great community with events etc. but management needs to get the basics right.

Whatever you do don't get an apartment by 216. They play music loud in the middle of the night. SO annoying.
