The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Abbey at Park Lakes
Main points Apartments are mostly modern. They are spacious, even the ones without the garage. Ease of access to the Beltway, extremely fast and easy. Parking spots and parking spot size is not an issue. Plenty of space and spots. So having people over is not difficult. The current staff is amazing and does a great job, maintenance staff included. General safety is taken seriously and not lightly. The overall pricing is average but fair. I've had mostly outstanding neighbors and overall the community is very nice and so are the people.

I self viewed the 2x2 today and I was very impressed. I felt the grounds were clean and the landscaping was very pretty. I’ve never done a self guided tour before and I liked that I could take my time and really look around and envision my furniture inside the space. I would have liked a little more information from the office but it’s ok I’ll ask later :)

We cannot wait to have you join our Carrington family, and we're here for any additional questions you may have and appreciate the feedback on how we can improve! Many Thanks, Diana Stephens - Senior Community Manager
Viewed the property, on the market for a 1 bedroom apartment. They do self tours, I took myself to view the 1 bedroom apartment and everything was smelly and pretty nasty. It’s obvious they don’t power wash the grounds, and’s don’t make the residents upkeep the porch areas. The show apartment was smelly, hot and I’m sure the square footage is inaccurate. I was immediately turned off and from the real reviews I don’t think it’s worth the time.

One bedroom apartment is spacious. Recommend 3rd floor if your intended to get a one bedroom to avoid stomping. Maintenance is are always responsive at a timely manner and quick to for fix ups. Super close to shopping needs, and highway access beltway 8 and 59. Pool and game room are always great for guest and renters for entertainment.:)
My girlfriend and I moved in a few months ago and were initially very impressed with the place. However, sadly, it is all an illusion. My car was stolen two days ago from here. There is supposedly a security guard on the property, but I have only seen him once at the pool checking people's wristbands. I have two dogs that I walk three times a day around the whole complex and I have never seen him. We asked the front office to help us with this theft. There are cameras at the exits, and we asked to see them. We were told the cameras went in and out that night and that only the police could see them. In other words, they're not working. Jose at the front office even had the audacity to ask if the car may have been repossessed. What an insult and what a sad excuse for a customer service professional. Recently we have also noticed a steady decline in the caliber of tenants. My neighbor below me uses his car space as a make shift mechanic shop with a full complement of compressor tools. As I write this, from the sound of it, he appears to be grinding metal. What a wonderful Saturday morning. There are a large number of construction workers that live at the complex along with their large and unsightly diesel trucks. I can also hear my neighbors talking through the AC vents. Very pleasant. Less then a mile north of the complex is the Atascocita Recycling Center. How do I know it's there? The smell. What does it smell like? Like a giant dumpster, which is essentially what it is. The smell is even more pungent after it rains, as it has been recently. There is a nice dog park. It's basically a dog dump center. When I mentioned the caliber of tenants decline, this is another example of what I'm referencing. A large number of tenants don't have the common decency to clean up after their pets. So the dog park is useless. Needless to say, we are in the process of looking for a new home. Safety is of the utmost importance to us. Carrington at Park Lakes fails at this.
Carrington at Park Lakes is a great place to live. Not a lot of noise with helpful property management who go above and beyond to provide a positive environment for the entire complex.
I have been a resident at Carrington for almost a year now. I will be signing a new lease next month. The apartments are beautiful. Granite countertops, the kitchen is what captured me. 9 foot ceilings with crown molding, garden tubs, w/d. I enjoy a salt water pool, full gym, we have a dog park, car wash station and lots more. I have everything I need here, I'm close to work and shopping. And the staff at Carrington is courteous and professional. By far the nicest apartment I have lived in.
I highly recommend my apartments to anyone seeking residence in the Humble area. The staff are friendly and the property is beautiful and well kept.
