Garbage

Staff is rude. Do not expect a call back. Maintenance is non existent. They only want your rent check. Your home will never feel like a home. Do not trust the front office to do the right thing

Bad news

The duplexes are not properly maintained and I had health issues due to the filthy air vents and a possible gas leak. I reported the issues and even offered to pay for the vent cleaning but was told that wasn’t allowed. My front window was broken (so it couldn’t be opened) and was never fixed despite numerous requests. The final insult was that they kept part of my deposit because of a stain on the rug. I sent my copy of the original walk through that showed multiple carpet stains. I did a lot of work on this apartment to make it livable and this was truly the final insult.

The Rental Office Staff is very rude

The Tammany of the ponds rental office staff is very rude addressing the renters. They are inexperienced and unprofessional.

Too Noisy

Lived here for 4 years. Lived on the first floor. Too noisy. We can here everything our upstairs neighbors do.

Tammany on the Ponds

I love this apartment! I'm on the third floor, which (while not great for carrying groceries in), means there are cathedral ceilings that make the living space feel wide open. The neighborhood is quiet and the grounds are pretty, and well maintained. Management and staff are really friendly and helpful. Maintenance requests are handled efficiently- I've only had a couple minor issues, and they were fixed same day or next day. Lots of units (mine included) have washer & dryer in unit, which is AWESOME! Within a 5 minute drive there are 4 grocery stores, the Lansing Mall, other shops, and lots of restaurants (everything from fast food to fancy Italian and delicious Mediterranean). Cats allowed, and dogs in certain buildings.

Tammany on the Ponds

This apartment complex is amazing! The staff here are really friendly and the environment is extremely quiet. Neighbors are very respective of others privacy and it's safe. I've been here for a year now and absolutely love it!

Quality Living

All I can do is be honest with this review. I've been living in Lansing for 5 yrs. I relocated from Auburn Hills/Oakland County... & this is the only place I've lived. I've never had any issues. When called Maintenance comes within 24hrs or sooner, the rental office staff is extremely friendly... Howard is awesome!!! :) I will say that the cleaning of the pools & hallways could use a little more attention, however, the grounds work is pretty decent... I'd rate it an 8/10. In the Winter, groundsmen could come earlier and be more efficient with snow removal. Overall, I rate Tammany on the Ponds a 7/8- 10. Oh yeah, they raise the rent $10/yr which isn't too bad, but be prepared. The neighbors are family oriented, diverse & appears to be of the "working class". Thank you future neighbor, Honestly, I don't think you'd be disappointed.

Best Place Ever

I have lived here at Tammany On The Ponds since 2008 with a break due to a transfer to another State. Within 6 months, I moved back with only 1 apartment left in the dog building. The transition was effortless. Staff and property management are very caring for the residents and the property. I recently moved from 3rd floor to 1st floor in same building and plan on staying here forever, unless I get married. Thanks Howard and staff for your friendliness and being timely in any issues that may arise. Location is prime!
