Pros: 1. Management is excellent, organized, thorough, and responsive. 2. Building, front desk, parking, and tenants are all chill 3. Maintenance calls are quick to fix any issues. 4. Price is the best in the area. Cons: 1. Building is dated. 2. Loud crows in the Fall/Winter. 3. Fire alarm system randomly rang but they recently replaced the entire system and the alarms. 4. Tenants bring shopping carts from nearby markets and leave them around.

I have lived here for almost 25 years in my spacious two bedroom two bath apartment. The office staff has always been very pleasant when I have stopped in with questions Or maintenance needs. I will say in the time that I’ve been here they have only renovated the hallways with new carpet and paint which are desperately needed. They say they are working on it, I guess it is a financial issue. There are many stains in the carpet and it just looks a little drab. Tiles are cracked around the elevator area. NEW PAINT AND NEW CARPET ARE NEEDED DESPERATELY!

The management team is responsive and friendly, always addressing maintenance requests promptly. I enjoy the quiet community, in a popular area with everything close by. My resident experience is mixed, the building is getting old and after living here 25 years I see improvements that just aren’t getting done. I have limited contact with the rental office due to their hours and choosing to deal with management directly. Some things are just better left alone, unless I have a maintenance issue that needs attention.

Living here in my second year has been great. My children love our home. More recently however I’ve noticed homeless people lounging in the stairwells.

Strathmore is a decent place to live. There have been some initial hiccups like Ants crawling through the window gaps, toilets clogging etc, but over all the management had decent maintenance staff that respond to issues within 24-48 hours. The property need better lighting outdoors to walk in the nights, especially at the court yard side, also the halkway carpets seem old and needs shampooing as there are a lot if noticeable stains all over the hallways

Great building in a great neighborhood, staff has always been accommodating and available. Maintenance is always prompt and there are fun social activities for the residents

Broken or old appliances. Dirty bathroom kitchen prior to move in , no deep clean was done. Closet doors are jamming. Bathroom smells of urine. Old dirty hallway carpet in corridor. Mold on windows, dirty windows unable to see outside well. Lots of ants in apartment . No safety inside elevator garage door is broken .

I enjoy living here but the building needs updating . I hear most tenants have problem, including myself, with the windows. The windows are foggy and they leak. Carpet in the hallway needs to be cleaned or replaced. Other than that, it’s a peaceful place to live.

Quick to resolve small issues, maintenance is fabulous. Great price for the area in a great location to local spots. Never had any issues with rodents or insects. Yearly issues with building fire alarm, water leaks in garage and water system. Seem to slowly be doing upgrades and fixing the issue with the alarm.

Excellent communication with Vanessa who was my first point of contact when I completed the online application form and requested an in-person tour. She was patient with all my questions. I was back two days later to pick up the keys and start the moving in process. Vanessa walked me through the process as well which was helpful for me. Ms Banks and Ms Walker in the leasing office have been professional and supportive to my family and I during our move to Strathmore Court. We are delighted to be residents here! The grounds are well kept; the amenities are great and the complex is peaceful. Fantastic location for us near the metro; bus stops; supermarkets; and restaurants.

There are requests based on accidents that happened in the building and it’s been almost a year and there were no steps taken. Problem was addressed multiple times and still waiting for the solution.

the gym could use a little revamp, and there was minor touch ups that could be done. but community is great and people are nice! lots of food in the area

When you’ve been a resident for twenty four years you have something to compare your experience by. All I can say is that the customer service and over all quality of the building declines each year. The office is open less and less, closes early. I have such low expectations at this point I rarely make contact with the rental office. Just drop my check off in the slot and hope my packages make it to the mailroom. I saw another long time resident in the lobby today and we shared our concerns. None of which are getting better. Upper management doesn’t seem to care so why bother contacting Lisa or the executive staff at Bozzutto.

Very nice and safe place to live in. Very close to the Metro and shopping centers. The new management is doing a great job, most of the Amenities has been upgraded, cleaning is perfectly done. The manager takes resident concerns seriously and address it in timely manner Management and Maintenance staff is great

Move-in has been pretty smooth. What we love the most is the privacy and access to the apartment. Its been only a week and its been pretty good. Hope it stays the same.

I love the location, convenient to shop, near the metro subway with a 5 minutes walking distant, that make it even more attractive to me. People around here are nice.

As a long time resident I have mixed reviews. I love my quiet floor, located in a great neighborhood. I don’t like the amount of turnover in the rental office which leads to poor communication. The overall building (ie: carpets) and units are in need of a major upgrade. When things break like the garage door, it takes months to get fixed. And the lack of security is an issue for me. I really hope to see changes in 2024, but my expectations aren’t high.

Do not ignore this. During the winter time, the crows come and literally will wake you up every night at 4-6 AM. I've seen some reviews that say that they have contacted management but there has been nothing done yet. I lived here for a year and have to move out and I am grateful that I am leaving. On the other hand, the management is really responsive to any maintenance requests. I have had my dishwasher and lights replaced in a matter of a day.

Onboarding staff is very kind and willing to work with you. The cleanliness before move-in was very subpar and appliances/bathtub are old. The price of apartment for the area is pretty good.

Clean and affordable! I moved in with an old friend and have been loving it. Right next to the metro, grocery stores within walking distance, good food around, pike and rose is awesome, I started my first professional career in a perfect place!

So far so good! I haven't had anything that's worrisome since I am relatively new. The front desk staff has been very welcoming and nothing beats a warm welcome to any new place. It makes one feel at home.

Clean, safe, peaceful.... It's close to the Metro making it easy if you don't have a car...love it would recommend it to family and friends.

It has been a wonderful experience at Strathmore Court. We have rented here for nearly 4 years and love it! The apartment amenities are well maintained, hygenic and clean. Good job!

Having recently moved in, we have to say how happy we are with our apartment and especially the John from the leasing team. They were patient helpful and tentative to our needs throught the move.

Here's what's good. Raul and the maintenance team. Whenever I have a maintenance issue, Raul (or another person on his team) fixes the problem quickly and efficiently. It's awesome. They are awesome! But here's what's not good. The leasing office. There is NEVER anyone in the leasing office when I need to talk to someone about renewing my lease or renting out the guest suite. The leasing office being closed on Sundays is awful. And everytime I come by the leasing office on Saturdays, the door is locked and there's a sign saying, "We'll be right back." And they never come back! What happened to all of the staff? What happened to the service? Customer service at this property is awful now. It's sad.

I recently moved in, however, I have already enjoyed staying here. The location, staff, and amenities are incredible. Can't ask for more at this point. Also, it is worth pointing out the underground garage as a huge advantage.

My only complaint after living here for a whole year are the crows?? If you are a light sleeper, this is not the place for you. These birds reverse migrate so they are here all winter long and wake up the entire complex at around 4:30AM every single morning. They also cover the entire courtyard and playground with their poop, so when it rains, it smells awful outside.

We have been here for nearly 4 years now and absolutely love it!!! There are so many things just at a walking distance you don't really need a car for daily errands. Located conveniently to North Bethesda Station, this place is the best!

Everything about Strathmore Court is great, but especially the maintenance staff! They respond very quickly to work orders and do a great job fixing things.

It is of high disappointment that the security cameras do not work in the building as designed!!! I had by bicycle stolen from the G2 North Building garage and nothing can be done to get the security system to view past dates. The security system is useless.

I love it here…… One of the best apartments complex I lived in…. If I need something fixed the fix it right away with no problem, don’t have to wait for days .

I’ve lived here since 2018. While a little older and the appliances are not as updated as the “luxury” apartments being built in the area, I am for the most part pleased with my experience at The Strathmore Court. I do think a few updates are needed (general maintenance, functioning handicap buttons, handicap accessibility, security cameras, window washing would be nice) but the maintenance staff is worth noting. The team always responds in a timely manner and will continuously fix any requests. I do appreciate that there is no amenity or parking fee! A rare find! The location is wonderful- everything you need is close by!

This is a very nice apartment and I feel like lately the front office is less knowledgeable about their residents than in the past. Staffing is very limited and there has been a huge tree limb that broke off about three months ago and it is still in the playground area. Benches are still covered in bird poop from the crow problem this past winter. If anyone walked around, they would see these issues. I love living here but the common hallways are looking very shabby. I had to wash my own windows on the outside because I couldn't stand to look thru the bird poop. They have never been washed since I lived here except by me. There has been a broken down bike in the garage locked to a railing that affects two parking spaces for the 7 years that I lived here, a car seat in the corner by the stair well for 5 months, a leak blocking a space for three years. The garage needs a good cleaning and junk removed. We need security cameras.

Love the area! Very close to public transportation, restaurants and stores. Very practical living areas. Staff is very attentive and nice. Common hallways need a little TLC.

My husband and I have lived here for a year and overall, it has been a great experience. The only complaint I have is that sound carries. Our upstairs neighbor makes a lot of noise between the hours of 11 P.M. and 2 A.M, which can sometimes make it difficult to sleep.

It’s an okay place to live, but the crows are loud and annoying. The front office also lags on informing you of any packages and has lost 3 of mine.

I have lived here for 20 years. I raise my girls here and my apartment. A very spacious two bedroom two bath apartment. Excellent maintenance, office, managers, and concierge service.

I've lived here since 2015, and I can't find a better place at such an affordable price. It's not "fancy," and my apliances aren't "new," but everything works. And again, my maintenance requests are fixed quickly and easily. The staff is wonderful to me and my family. It's right across the street from the (now-called) North Bethesda Metro Station and just a block away from a Harris Teeter. I can see why everyone wants to live here!

I’m happy and content at Strathmore Court. The new manager is great, and I hope she stays for a long time! Things are getting done and I’m hopeful to see improvements to the common areas and inside my apartment soon.

I love to be able to match the exterior up keep with the amazing staff but as 'George Washington' said, "I can not tell a lie". So with that being said, we desperately need some professionals to come out & thoroughly clean & sanitize our entire outer perimeter/exterior of the property. The bird infestation has completely take up full occupancy & from the looks of it, they don't plan to leave anytime soon! This is unhealthy & should be addressed/ handled ASAP. This is so embarrassing & a disgrace when company visits. Well I take that back, first & foremost I don't want to see this!!! Praying that the staff will inform us soon about future plans to address & concur this environmental/ unsanitary issue. For now, they should at least hire a Floater to power wash, EVERYDAY!!! The car dealership Manger mentioned that all their cars has to be washed daily now because of the bird infestation too.

I am happy to write this review, I’ve lived at Strathmore Court at White Flint for years now, and although the administrative staff has changed periodically, the services have not. They are always there to assis the residents, although the complex is not for the handicap, that doesn’t matter because all you need to do is give them a call and they will assist you, to he WHOLE TEAM. The location is close to the Metro station and Harris Teater. The room is clean.

Living here for nearly four years, I can confirm that the pros outweigh the cons. PROs: - Location: White Flint metro is a 3 minute walk, Harris Teeter, Mom’s Organic Market, Shoppers Food Warehouse, Whole Foods, Pike & Rose, restaurants, Target etc. all walkable or a short drive away. - Price: You can get a two bedroom here for what most area apartments charge for a one bedroom. - Garage parking: It’s included; every other place I originally looked at charged an additional fee. - Maintenance: Responsive and friendly. No big issues in four years. - Management: Front office staff is always friendly and helpful. - Neighbors: I rarely see anyone, to be honest. But everyone I have encountered is polite and friendly. CONs: - Outdated: This is an older building, with old elevators (I primarily use the stairs), and no updated kitchens or bathrooms. - Noise: If you have someone living above you, prepare for some noise. There are times when items are clearly dropped on the floor, or the person is doing aerobic exercise, or just firmly walking around their apartment. So either live on the top floor or kindly request that your neighbors remember that someone lives below:) - Maintenance: Overall, I’ve never had a significant issue. However, my A/C never works the first time I turn it on come summer. But I send a maintenance request, and within a few hours they come and fix it. I imagine a long-term fix is something they deem too expensive. Also, they do quarterly checks (you’re notified a day or so ahead of time) where they claim to be checking your toilets, your fire alarm, your water heater etc. But in reality all they do is come in and replace your filter. I’ve been home several times and have seen it myself. They’re clearly trying to see an entire wing of apartments so they rush the job. I’d rather they commit to fewer apartments in a day and more thoroughly check to ensure everything works as it should. - Smoking is permitted in apartments and courtyard area. As a health and fire hazard, I don’t understand why this is still allowed. NEUTRAL - Courtyard with grills, pool, playground, party room for rent. - Gym: it’s small, with two treadmills (one of which is really loud and the incline is broken), two ellipticals, one stationary bike, an all-in-one gym for leg presses, shoulder/back exercise etc., a bench, and free weights. All in all, I’ve had a positive experience here, which is why I haven’t moved!

This building is in a great location right across from the White Flint metro station. It is also within walking distance to a Harris Teeter supermarket and very close to other supermarkets, shopping, and restaurants. The maintenance staff is absolutely amazing, always friendly and quick to fix any problems. We have not had any issues with pests of any kind and the building is kept clean and freshly painted. My issue with the building is that it is old and because of that has some major issues like a leaking roof. There was also a couple weeks where the air conditioning in the hallways was not working and was not immediately fixed due to the high cost of the repair. The staff in the leasing office are also a problem. They are not usually friendly or helpful and sometime are nowhere to be found which is a problem if you have a visitor trying to enter the garage or a delivery coming. All in all I like the amenities like the pool, gym, and playground and enjoy the atmosphere. I would however like to see it run better and would consider living elsewhere if the management does not improve soon.

Whenever you search for a place to live, you get your pro and con list out. I've lived in apartments for 18 years and you always take the good with the bad and make sacrifices based on your budget. Well, we moved into the Strathmore last summer and I couldn't believe it. There is no con! I can plug "next train" into wmata.com and leave my apartment when the train is coming in FIVE minutes and I make it. There is a 24 hour Harris Teeter only a two minute walk away, not to mention Target, gyms, restaurants within walking distance. Then there is the apartment complex itself which is beautifully maintained, awesome courtyard and pool, quiet, thick wall. Next, the people- seriously the nicest neighbors that we've ever had. How can everyone be kind and helpful? I know, I don't understand it either. Last but not least, everyone who works in the main office and the maintenance team are all extremely helpful, responsive, and friendly. I just wish I found this amazing building years ago. The only "con" is that they don't have 3 bedrooms- we are expanding our family even more and need to move into a bigger place. VERY sad to leave this place, but hope that if you're searching, you take our place!
