The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Sterling Knolls
I have lived here over 40 years it’s a great place to meet good people. I love it here.
Do not come here if you wanna actually be treated like a decent human being. I have never been to an establishment where I was spoken down to and where their policy made no actual sense.
This place is worse place and Management is rude and very unprofessional not a safe place to live in
I lived here for almost a year and I had a electric dirt bike and the manager made a complaint and said it made to much noise when it didn’t make any noise at all you can barely hear it. Another thing when I first moved in I didn’t have air conditioning for 5 days and it was burning hot I couldn’t even stay there I had to go sleep over by my cousins. Also I would play basketball and the manager said no basketball so you can barely do anything there
Absolutely terrible service if you have any issues, and they advertise amenities that they don’t even offer. Where to even start with the horrible management of this place?! If you have any problems or issues it takes DAYS to get them addressed and they give you these giant windows for maintenance workers to show up, then they don’t even come? I’ve had problems with my A/C and heat since the beginning, one month my electricity bill was OVER $300 HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE. In winter they refuse to shovel the sidewalks and hang up on you if you call to ask why. Instead of removing snow they put up signs that say “sidewalks are not shoveled/salted do not use them” is that even legal?? Sterling Heights says you must clear sidewalks within 24 hours of snowfall but apparently not in this sorry excuse for an apartment complex. Last but not least they raise your rent as soon as you hit your 1 year mark. Wish I could give 0 stars.
Never choose to stay in this community. Very very pathetic disgusting leasing people. They just suck your blood if you have to deal with them. We had very bad experiences. They only talk nice when you visit them to see apartment. Once you enter, they just behave terribly. For any assistance related to leasing they just try to suck your money. They organized their community in a way that you will never have direct contact with actual leasing people and at leasing office few useless people sits and they only say we can't do anything you have to call Victor and hung up simple. When you call that leasing people he will only and only ask money money and money. They don't have any safety concerns no fire walls nothing and that why they wast to squeeze your money. They keep security deposit but never return you and on that they will charge double
I have lived in my complex now for almost a year. A friend of mine whom i met in College lived there about 7 years ago. She moved to Rochester and then ended up back there. Well when I was looking for an apartment complex, this was the first one that came to my mind. They have always been super nice and attentive. The building that I am in is super quiet I have never had any problems with any of my neighbors they are all very nice. One personal experience that I had that I would like to mention is that I had initially moved in with my husband. Things did not work out with our marriage and I filed for divorce. He had came one day when I was working and took everything out of the apartment, left it in shambles and left me with nothing. I went to the office crying, and the leasing agent was extremely comforting and took the time to talk to me when she didn't have to. During my divorce process my attorney needed some paper work a couple different times from the office, each time they faxed it over for me and were always very accommodating for me in that way. Also, the price I pay and the location is more then reasonable. This complex is wonderful and I have recommended it to friends and family and will continue to do so.
I moved into my apartment in febraury and they have helped me so much i recommend sterling knolls to live at
