Property Ratings at Stella
My boyfriend and I moved to Stella last week and everything has been perfect! Since our very first tour of Stella we both knew this location would be perfect for us since we both commute to DC for work. Kash literally put the icing on the cake, she was soo helpful and friendly and walked us through the entire process as first time renters. She made sure all of our questions were answered and helped us every step of the way. Fast forward to us signing the lease and moving in, this process has been almost seamless, managemenyt and the entire team have been so prompt and going above and beyond to make sure we were settling in nicely. I must say paying for reserved parking isn’t necessary; there are plenty of spaces on all levels so unless yo feel you need a designated spot i would save yourself $30. Parking is handled by a third party so this has nothing to di with Stella, but the garage definitely seems secure and safe si no complaints there. All in all we love living at Stella already and are so happy to call it home. The metro and closeness to DC is a bonus. Thank you Kash, Michael, and the leasing team for all that you do!
We just moved in and the staff was very helpful during our move. The staff provided all the things we needed to move in smoothly. We have a good feeling about this place.
While this apartment is at a good location and is nice looking on the inside it’s not worth moving here. The walls are so thin! you can hear everything going on in your apartment. Every argument, step, music being played can be heard in your apartment. Its an electric key entrance and sometimes it doesnt work and will take 5 mins to lock. Security isnt good, strangers have came plenty of times into the building trying to break in. The fire alarm goes off every month at crazy times so you have to leave. Parking is very expensive, you have to pay $100 just to park on your floor in the garage. If you can’t move in on the TOP floor it is not worth moving here. The walls are super thin!
My family and myself really enjoy our place. The community areas are always clean and inviting. I am excited to see what other treats are in store for residents.
This has been great so far for me the moving process was great and the leasing office staff was very helpful with me while I was moving in.
I think they need to work on a lot of things like the parking , we can’t have family over because they want us to pay for parking on top of the rent that’s crazy .

Cozy. I adore the interior design throughout the facility. The amenities are GREAT! Perfect location. Leasing staff, concierge and maintenance staff are very respectful and helpful. Neighbors are all friendly.

The building is ok. Some of the residents are annoying by not putting trash in chute properly. It’s quiet overall. The parking is managed by a third party so that is frustrating. But it’s overall a decent apartment building. I’ve stayed in much worse and seen better in the DMV area. But I needed a place with parking and close proximity to metro and this fits the bill.

I really love it here. The staff is great and always available to answer my questions. I love the location and I feel like I have the luxury feel at a decent price. There are plenty of transportation options to dc and Baltimore and I love that. The only issue is that the dogs can get pretty loud in the early morning hours but if I'm already asleep it's not a problem. The only downside really is the parking, having guests can be a pain because everyone has to pay for parking. It's not much but it is definitely frustrating at time.

So far so good everything is super clean and organized, the people who work there in the office and other staff are always willing to help with whatever you need, very friendly and everything is always clean.

Love it here! The dog park makes night walks easy. The NCR Amtrak station is so close as well as other buses. The management is so nice and attentive. All the stores are in walking distance. I haven't seen any mice or roaches yet! This place is great

Amazing amenities, service, and the location is convenient to public transportation. Location feels remote, no sidewalks at the moment due to construction. Dog walk isn’t all concrete which deters my dog from walking on the pebbles out back. Neighbors do not clean after their pets. Crime has increased, my vehicle was hit in the garage and I’ve seen other cars vandalized. Lots of unauthorized guests obtain access into the building. Security is not strict enough. Emails to staff often go unanswered.

The Stella is a beautiful apartment building near the new Carrollton metro station. There are great resident events and maintenance is very quick and efficient. I will say some residents don’t follow all of the rules and it can be loud but that’s residents. Very close the the highway and around lots of different food and shops.

Overall, very happy with my experience. The front office staff is absolutely amazing and continues to go above and beyond. I love the special events for tenants, and I love that the building is always clean. I love how dog friendly it is, and the prices are reasonable, especially if there is a rent special. Maintenance is quick and attentive, metro access is impressive, and the dog park is fantastic. I would really love to see the dog park extended (there is a lot of extra space) and maybe another light added, as well as possibly more security back there, as it can get a little sketchy at night. Would really like to see keycard access for the elevators as well. There were a few unruly people living here for a little bit, but they have since been moved out and the atmosphere is 10000X better!

Every apartment has negative and positive things about them . But for me the positives at Stella weigh more than the negative experiences or reviews I have seen or experienced myself. The Management, Michael.Chahira, Gabby, the maintenance and cleaning crew have done and continue to do an amazing job. Whenever I have had something happen that I was not happy about the management addressed it even if it was not an immediate fix. Many may say they don’t care but I disagree. The Staff does an excellent job to accommodate everyone even when they are busy. There is no such thing as a perfect Apt but the staff here have made my stay a positive one and I am truly grateful. We have been living at Stella for 6 months and I love the experience. The people who work here is very kind and every time we need something about fixing or complaints there solve it so fast. I love the community meetings, makes you feel special. The community areas are well designed and they take good care of it. They really push people to follow the community rules about silent/quiet hours and pet policies. I really love this place. Parking lot is secured and it is a relief. I would love we can have a space for kids where they can play on a playground, but anyways I love Stella.

The constant fear of car break-ins the outrageously loud music at random hours of the day and the disgusting use of trash room and lack of elevator cleanliness is and people running and yelling through the halls like it’s high school and they skipping class. The parking garage is dangerous cars flying in/out not to mention so much money!!!(which is apparently not the apartments fault owned by a third party who just keeps raising the prices!!! And there is no alternative parking) Apparently something happens to your car it’s on you instead of the place where your literally paying hundreds of dollars just to park!(Parking prices are very much expensive for no reason). And it’s so many discrepancies with what your conservation bill. Very much can’t wait for that lease time to be up. At this point finding a pleasant, clean organized apartment is unheard of for these days, with these prices just get you a house you paying the same price , and the property is yours

Decent place. Be ware of getting towed because staff tells you to park in unauthorized areas. Pretty quiet as far as neighbors, but you can definitely hear people walking above you.

Pros: New/modern in-unit features 5-8min walk to the metro Friendly staff at the front desk Maintenance quickly responds Social events (w/free food or food trucks) Nice amenities (gym, pool, billiards and shuffle board) Decent noise blockage of the highway and nearby construction Cons: Not a walkable area - nothing close by, sometimes feels unsafe (but no more than other places in the city) Somewhat unresponsive management Sometimes loud neighbors and smells of pot Common areas sometimes dirty (other residents leave trash and dog poop) Parking conditions as originally described changed All this being said, I liked it enough to renew my lease.

I really enjoy the activities at this property. Especially the food trucks. It’s nice to come home and there is a delicious food truck right outside and you can order ahead. The package room is so great. I love the fridge in package room. It’s great to know your groceries won’t go bad while you’re out.

We toured Stella and honestly if the 3 bedroom space had worked for our family, we would have taken it. The property is beautiful, and Chahira in the leasing office is a wonderful agent.

Overall, I’ve enjoyed my experience living at Stella. The staff greatly contributed to my positive experience; always greeting me with a smile, remembering my name, and throwing residents fun quality community events. I love my unit and I’ve also made a lot of friends in the building; so has my dog. Now that we’ve discussed the pros, let’s discuss the cons. The major con for me which will influence whether or not I re-sign my lease is 100% the parking situation. Our apartment building is not located near much; we’re in the business district. There’s not a lot happening around us but there’s absolutely NO guest parking, which is a huge hassle. Guests have to park in our parking garage and pay $5 to &7 a day to visit. Sure, $5 isn’t much, but when you have a guest visiting for multiple days that cost adds up and discourages loved ones and friends from visiting you because they have to pay to see you. The other con is that some residents aren’t very clean. The trash rooms often get full of trash from people not pushing them down the shoot but management does a pretty good job at cleaning the trash rooms every morning. Again, overall my experience has been great and I’ll recommend those considering moving to Stella to at least visit for a tour.

Just moved in but so far very nice apartment itself has no issues at move in. Also leasing office always very helpful and attentive. Also alot of amenities like a nice 24hr gym.

This is an awesome place to live. I have been here since August and am loving it. The amenities are great, location and so is the staff, especially the staff. They are the reason this place is so great. Rewan, Michael and Chahira keep this building running. There is another young lady whose name I can't remember and I apologize but she's awesome too! They care for the tenants and make sure that everyone is happy and comfortable living here.

Been living here for half a year and all I can say is it’s been wonderful! The staff is always available to help with any issues you may have and Rewan and Chahira always greet me with a smile every time I leave and return! The interior is also stunning and has multiple amenities to serve your needs. Would highly recommend this place!
