A quintessential military town, the community of Lexington Park grew up around Patuxent Naval Air Station shortly after the base was established in the 1940s. Today, the base employs around 20,000 people, most of whom live in Lexington Park or nearby, making the military a major economic and cultural driver for the area.
The landscape is mostly filled by suburban-style neighborhoods, with a rental market including apartments and houses of every shape and size. A few shopping centers scattered throughout the community cater to the residents’ day-to-day needs, mostly located along Three Notch Road and Great Mills Road.

Towing and parking are predatory. Amenities rarely useful as they are occupied or down with the exception of the gym. Neighbors are quiet.

Area could be better but most days/nights it’s pretty quiet. Neighbors are pretty friendly. Nice dog park for our pups to play. If you have kids, giant playground for them to play. Staff is nice.
We have lived in this apartment for 4years. It has been majority pleasant. The neighbors are civil. The management and maintenance respond and inform fairly. The only thing we have had multiple issues with the plumbing about a couple or few times a year since 2021 because the lines are connected with the other apartments. Outside of that it's been a good experience in this community.

Management is nice, it seems quiet so far, the apartment is rough it's quite dirty, alot of things don't work or broken. Hopefully it gets fix fast.

There’s a nice and good place and environment you must live in St. Mary's, a great place to live and clean complex, nice apartments. All of the office staffs are wonderful, and the maintenance staff is so amazing. And the most I like best is 24 hours maintenance service providers who take action of our issues as soon as possible.

I've had a very good experience at St. Mary's Landing. I've lived here for two years and have re-upped for a third. My apartment is large and well-maintained, and the onsite staff are friendly and responsive. I only have two gripes: the first is that so too many residents fail to pick up after their dogs; the second is that the apartment above me was empty for a while and management did some work up there which has resulted in the floor creaking like crazy whenever the new residents walk on it. It's very loud, almost continuous, and very irritating!

Everyone we have met seems nice and relatively quiet. Only concern I have is horrible smells I've noticed in the apartment when we moved in and people not cleaning up after their dogs on the lawns in front of the complexes.
Don’t have any complaints so far and I’ve lived her a few months. They are helpful when needed and the amenities are great. The only thing I could say is the pool needs a little more cleaning.
The staff is friendly, kind, and helpful. They made the whole lease signing and moving in process real easy. The apartment is perfect for me.

I moved here only a few weeks ago, my car was hit on the property with no help to find whoever did it. They also have no regard for night shift workers so if you work night shift please don’t move here thank me later…
I've had a great experience at St. Mary's Landing. My apartment is large and well-maintained. The onsite staff is amazing, especially the maintenance staff. My a/c went out yesterday and the maintenance guy showed up in less than ten minutes--and it took him only another five minutes to resolve the problem!

St mary's Landing is a great place to call home. It's quiet, there's a car wash area, pool, gym and appliances is updated. Staff are friendly. The only thing I didn't get is a welcome home goodie bag. One thing that would be great would be if the community had cable ready installation. Great home!

Good neighborhood, but I'm so tired of the tow company that was hired for the neighborhood. Just last month I had to call the police to get my car back.. My second time dealing with the tow company, I love the complex and the people in the office but after two years I will probably relocate due to the towing in the neighborhood. The Saint Mary's Police let me know all I needed to know about their services.. But the community itself is great..

Good amenities, pretty much everyone keeps to themselves. Surrounding area isn’t great but the complex is mostly quiet. Staff is friendly if you need to contact them.
Never had any issues! Any problems I have came across, that fixed them very quickly and communicated very well.I have already renewed my lease once and will probably do it again!

Overall good experience living here. Few bumps but ok. Stay is friendly & helpful when things do come up. Nice neighbor's & pet friendly community.
Neighbors are not nice they don’t react with yih when you say good morning. Neighbors play there music late at night especially when I get on road at 430 am and get home at 7 pm. Tenants walk there dog amongst the apartment common area and don’t pick up after them. Nothing like stepping in dog poop in the am when I am walking my dog. Seems to be more police in development these days seems like it’s real safe anymore here. A lot of drug activity which I have witnessed and marijuana presence.
Very nice neighborhood people are friendly staff is awesome as well clean very understanding people prompt as far as matinence issues as well
The maintenance staff is excellent. The office staff provides opportunities for the residents to get involved in community projects. There are monthly get togethers planned. Overall St Mary’s Landings is a nice place to live.
If you are looking for a community to raise your children and have a peace of mind, you will love this community. It is the very reason why I’ve stayed here for the last 6 years.
I have had an amazing time and a staff always willing to help out. Had problems twice in midnight and they arrived within minutes and fixed it…amazing people
Great place to live and very good neighborhood. Very quiet and peaceful. The apartment is nice and the maintenances is very good and very secure.
Very peaceful here. A bit pricey though. Love the amenities available. The clubhouse is very nice. & I enjoy the events they have available for residents
Great community, nice apartments and friendly area for the kids to play and dogs to explore. Highly recommend for small families to apply and maybe make a home
Overall living here has been good. Plenty of amenities to choose from, staff is friendly & helpful. My apartment is quiet & location is good.
