This is an excellent place to live. Very pet friendly. Daily trash pick up is priceless. Office staff is very friendly. Maintenance staff are quick, clean, and communication is clear on all work orders. Customer conveniently located to Northpoint Village, Metro and major highways.

The team in the lease office is super nice and welcomed us from the start. The maintenance team is friendly and problems are resolved very quick. The only thing that could be done is to replace one or two devices in the apartment with more modern ones. We can therefore highly recommend the facility and feel at home here.

We have the best experience living here. The amenities are excellent! So close to the grocery store, bank, gas station and other shops. There are so many good restaurants around us! Our favorite are the walking path for our fur babies! We highly recommend this place to everyone ?? ??

We have lived here for 5 years and it’s been wonderful. I love how clean the property is and how well taken care of it is. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an apartment in the Reston area.

The apartments are homey and cozy. Recent upgrades to the clubhouse, gym, and outdoor common area were big improvements. The main downside is the cost (big rent increase going into second year in this apartment). The apartments are now priced well-beyond their actual value, as they are not luxury, and ours has a lot of quirks with HVAC, electrical, and showers. That said, the maintenance team has been great in helping/trying to help with these, though none of these issues have been corrected for the long-term. With recent upgrades, the amenity fee is now worth it (assuming it does not increase). But wish we were not forced to pay for the valet trash service, which does not pick up trash on the two nights when it would be most convenient, and given my current lifestyle, I sometimes have to bring trash to the dumpster on my own anyways. Too bad we can't opt out, and make the rent feel slightly more reasonable.

Going on year two of living here and constantly enjoy all the amenities the community and local area has to offer. The walking trails are especially great.

Living here feels so comfortable, like home. The tenants and staff are all friendly, the maintenance is always addressed quickly, and it is always clean.

Great place to live if you like the peace and quiet. Neighbors were great, trash collection is convenient. Walls can be slightly thin but nothing too bad

I love living here and enjoy the quiet. Having a fireplace is a plus. People are friendly and the apartment area is kept clean. The new gym is also nice.

Our son lived here 20 years ago and recommended we check it out after we were hit by huge rent increases in an Reston Town Center high rise. We have loved the surrounding woods and nature. The maintenance crew and the management folks have been exceptional - in attitude, responsiveness and creativity. It has been a safe community from many of the issues beginning to seep into Reston - home invasions, car break-ins and package thefts.

We have been renting here for five years..We feel right at home, residents of all ages, all seem very nice.We have community events and meet new neighbors.IT IS A VERY SAFE WELL MAINTAINED COMMUNITY., with a great management team and maintainence personnel.Everything is kept us nice, beautiful blooming trees and flowers. They have added a nice new gym, yoga serene area, outdoor area with ping pong, grills for friends to gather.They celebrate alot of holidays with niceties for us.Alot of friendly dogs to pet.We think the " best apartments in reston.we are real near bus stops, Town center and right off rt 7.Come by you'll be glad you did.

I moved in this week, so experience of community is limited. The outdoor outdoor space is wonderful at recently refurbished community center. There has always plenty of parking spaces. The Northpointe shopping center is walkable. It contains several restaurants and a Giant grocery store.

Maintenance team is amazing and I appreciate taking care of my issues quickly and professionally. Also, the grounds are always clean and the neighbors are friendly.

I love everything Halstead Reston has to offer. From its beautiful clubhouse, cozy floor plans, and breathtaking landscape, Halstead Reston has so much to offer. Not to mention, their timely responses to any resident concerns. It’s a wonderful place to call home.

Excellent maintenance crew, always feel safe on property, plenty of parking and nice neighbors. Love the large deck and 2 doors to access the deck.

Enjoying peaceful living with access to the new town center and nice pool area. Walking with friends around the lush trees. Keeping our residents safe is key.

A wonderful complex, clean, tidy and very cozy. Friendly management is always happy to help and solve any problems. It is very nice that they take care of the residents and organize interesting events.

This community is great and very safe. Everyone in this community is nice and kind. We love the new clubhouse. All the staff are very helpful.

Just Renovated the patio area and it is phenomenal, grills and a smoker!!! And many activities for the family. This is a place I would very much recommend if looking for a new place to stay

People wake me up when they go up or down the stairs. My bedroom is right by the stairs. Is there something one could do to make the outside stairs quieter?

The staff respond to issues and maintenance requests fairly quickly, and we don't really have any problems. The apartments are a little old, and show it, but for the current price, it's not bad. Rent is going up several hundred dollars this year with a new owner though.

This is an ideal community in which to live. Great location, great leasing and maintenance staff. My first floor unit is incredibly quiet and provides a real haven from politics and a crazy world.

Over 5 years living here in this peaceful community, and we are still loving all the conveniences and perks that comes with it! Northgate Mall right across us has restaurants, Giant, mani/pedi, banking and gas station to name a few of the many things we love. Our beautiful walking trail for our furry animals are so essential and one of the reason we choose this place. If you are looking for peace and many ways to make life easier we highly recommend St. Johns Wood!

Love the neighborhood, love how they keeps the landscape clean and beautiful! They keep communication open with the residents. The food Trucks are a plus. And we can’t wait to see the new rental office and the gym!

St John's Wood is a special community of apartments that we get to live in.We are home and have rented here for 5 wonderful years.Our community is beautifully landscaped, well maintained with quite nice people.Our management team are very down to earth and also professional. We have a pool, workout room and lovely gathering space for events.Our staff are always coming up with surprises for us a to go breakfast, bagel day, Xmas party, valentines day delish cookie and so much more and you even get a gift card on your birthday.We even have blooming flowers and trees..I have met so many nice people, some have been here awhile and we help each other when needed.It is a very safe community and North point shopping center is very close by and has a variety of stores A .. Reston town Center is 15 mins away and Reston hospital is very close by, top notch, if you ever need. We love living here.

I have loved living here! I have lived here a year now and I am going to miss this place when I need to leave. The complex itself is clean, quiet, and well maintained for the price. The price is a little high but that is to be expected when living in Reston and within the Reston Association. To me, the extra fees for the trails within the town, access to the pools and amenities available to RA members, and the commitment to a safe environment make that worth it. Not to mention, there has been lots of great wildlife to see on the property that you almost feel like you're not right next to a major road!

I enjoy living here and all the surrounding community has to offer. Only complaint being is how loud upstair neighbors can be ..but it is what it choosing to live on the ground floor

This is an excellent place to live. My kids enjoy all the walking paths and being so close to Northpoint shopping. We are close enough to DC and the mountains and good hiking trails.

We have been here for over 5 years. We like being close to grocery, restaurants, grooming places, gas station and even a bank! Such convince are important to us in maintaining our busy life. We love being close to our children and we get to see my grand daughter anytime we want to! This is an amazing place to live at if you are looking for a peaceful neighborhood and beautiful paths to exercise or walk your furry friend.

Love how quiet the community is here. Neighbors and employees are respectful and friendly. I’ve had very few maintenance issues and when they've occurred, they were quickly remedied. There are so many walking paths in this area. All the trees give it a woodsy atmosphere.

This is the very best place to live at this time in our life,and close to family.Everything runs like a clock,everything from maintainence,requests and total regular cleaning of general areas,they even have flowering trees and annual flowers.The management team is great,and we seem to attract the nicest residents.Our maintainence team is on top of everything.We even have sponsored parties. WE FEEL AT HOME AND LOVE LIVING HERE 5 years now.We are fortunate to have found this very special place.

I moved in in June and Sophie and Donna have been nothing but welcoming and helpful. Maintenance is super efficient, and very communicative. Noise level is perfect, and the neighborhood is so quiet and well kept -- couldn't be happier!

We love it here at St. Johns Wood Community. We just extended another year on our lease, we love the convenience of being close to my grandbaby and the rest of my children.
