Property Ratings at St. James Crossing
It is a safe apartment complex in a good area. For that I give it 2 stars. However, staff has been unprofessional from the beginning. My apartment smelled like marijuana for months due to neighbors smoking. A letter was sent out and then nothing was done about it. Maintenance requests take forever to get fixed and are not properly taken care of so it becomes a reoccurring issue. I often did not have hot water and had a reoccurring leak they just put plaster over. When moving out I knew I could not trust staff so I took videos and pictures of everything. To end it off they withheld part of my deposit. Granted it was a smaller fee, but should had never been taken out to begin with. I disputed it professionally and the manner in which you should in Florida and they have yet to respond. They will not answer emails, calls, or texts. It is amazing how unprofessional they are being and I'm pretty sure they did not handle it correctly on a legal front so they owe me the money back by default. Please save yourself a headache and do not move here. I have lived in more expensive and cheaper apartments and they were all better than this one.

Love it here! The pool is always clean. Maintenance always is super responsive. Everyone is super nice. I save money on the gym. And the office staff is awesome

The apartments are quiet and conveniently located. The grounds are well kept. The only thing I would say needs improvement is the laundry facility. It can get messy and often machines are out of order.

St. James Crossing is located in a beautiful area. It is surrounded with all your needs, mall, grocery store, restaurants, bar, barbershop, medical care, and spas/salons. Just a nice all around area, the community is nice and clean.

I've lived here for a little over 3 years and its been a pretty smooth ride. The maintenance team responds to calls very fast and they make sure each ticket is closed quickly. The office staff has had a few changes but i can say the current crew has been the best. Neighbors aren't grumpy there's always a smile, a nod, or a Hey! I feel safe here. I have never had issues with crime and there been many nights I've forgotten to lock my car doors. The grounds are kept well, they never leave litter laying around like other complexes. Sadly we have to vacate because we need a 3br apartment now and if they had that we'd definitely stay. Its the most convenient place i've lived in with stores and places to eat all around!

I love that I have the opportunity to win a gift card for participating in community activities first and foremost. Second of all, the community of residents are very friendly and welcoming neighbors. While I enjoy the pool and tennis courts, at times the laundry facility can be an issue when it comes to broken machines. The stray cats fighting at night are also a slight disturbance; however minor compared to the positive living experience as a whole.

Stay here at St. James Crossing has been a good experience so far. The location is centered around many ways around the town. The staff is amazing. friendly. They’re always thinking on how to bring the community together by doing special events in the office or on the grounds. The maintenance are also friendly. I love that the location is pet friendly. Many people walk their dogs and there are dog stations throughout the neighborhood or community. I love that they have a pool with brand new bathrooms. The only thing I wish is that there was a net for the tennis court.

I love my apartment that backs up to the pond in the back. I enjoy the many ducks and no alligators. Maintenance is fairly prompt and my dog loves them. They are loved by all the pets in the complex.

Lived here for a year and haven’t had any major issues. Staff is friendly and respectful. Maintenance gets done in a reasonable time frame. The apartment itself was good with the exception of a few bugs (roaches, termites, etc). There is no gate so be vigilant about your car. Make sure you park in the appropriate space or else you will be towed and have to pay crazy money to get your car back. Overall not a bad place to live.

I love the pool and the location. I do like my apartment but price is too much for what you get. There’s a lot of cutting corners when it comes to the apartment itself and needs being met. Communication could be better. I don’t feel heard or valued as a resident at times, mostly because I’ve been ignored multiple times. I also don’t appreciate smelling weed throughout the inside of my apartment when I don’t smoke it and it causes me to have panic attacks. If these things were addressed I’d be happier living here.

From the moment I went online and filled out the application for my wife and I, the office staff was very responsive and helpful. Teresa went out of her way to answer all the questions I had. It was a quick and easy process for us, thanks to the ladies in the office. We brought our dog for a meet and greet and they were all so friendly, and our dog liked them (always a plus). All 3 of them definitely made us feel right at home. We have now been here 2 months and so far we love it. The location of the complex is great. The maintenance team is very fast and professional with any issue we have. Everytime I message the office I get a timely response. The property is well maintained and well lit at night, the pool area is gorgeous, the picnic area is very nice and the little fenced in dog play area is awesome. The gym has all updated equipment and it is pretty much brand new.

Always friendly staff. Convenient location to shopping and eating, and they maintain quickly and keep the grounds clean. There's also a pool and a gym and they have computers to use in the community room.

It's a Very nice community, everything you need is close by. Friendly staff, quiet neighborhood and beautiful apartments. The only thing I wish for them to add would be a couple of visitors parking by the entrance side facing Publix because there's none at all. Good place to live though.

Love my hard wood floors. Have gotten a new air conditioning system and a brand new toilet. My apartment is beautiful! Maintenance does a great job!

I love it here! I love my apartment and the pool! The ladies in the office are great! I appreciate all they do and maintenance are nice, courteous and respectful. I enjoy having a nice clean and safe place to come home to every day! I have nothing negative to say!!

St. James Crossing is located in a beautiful area. It is surrounded with all your needs, mall, grocery store, restaurants, bar, barbershop, medical care, and spas/salons. Just a nice all around area, the community is nice and clean with a helpful crew.
