Allentown is the place to be, with its rich historic character, growing economy, and many affordable apartments available for rent. Allentown is the third most populous city in Pennsylvania, behind Pittsburgh and Philadelphia, and considered to be one of the fastest-growing cities in the state. Located in the Lehigh Valley, it shares the area with two other burgeoning cities, Bethlehem and Easton. Allentown is central to numerous major cities as well, situated only 55 miles from Philadelphia, 85 miles from Harrisburg, 96 miles from New York City, and 152 miles from Baltimore.
Allentown is separated into five districts: the Center City, East Side, South Side, the Wards, and the West End. Allentown’s local art community is centered on 7th Street and Hamilton Street in Center City, touting a bevy of eclectic shops, boutiques, eateries, and performance venues.

Property Ratings at Spring View
I’ve lived in multiple apartment complexes in the lehigh valley over the last few years, and this is by far the worst. Maintenance temporarily fixes issues and will not address the actual root problems, I’m assuming because they don’t want to spend the money. My ceiling leaked after a pretty bad storm so I submitted a maintenance request. Nothing was done to my ceiling but I received an email a week later saying the roof was fixed. I emailed again asking to see proof that the roof was fixed, and also requested that my ceiling be checked for mold since it was over a week that I dealt with the leak. No response. My AC unit broke and I was unable to stay in my apartment for almost 3 weeks due to the heat. I asked to be compensated in the rental payments and was disregarded and told that a part was ordered and there was nothing more they could do. Just overall not a good experience here, they do not seem to care about residents at all.
I've lived here for about a week now and I absolutely love it. I can honestly say that I feel safe here. Springview is just minutes away from Krocks Rd where I enjoy going to Starbucks, Whole Foods, Nordstrom Rack, Ulta, Target, Five Below, and Costco. Wegmans is just a few blocks away too....My neighbors are friendly, respectful, courteous, and not in your business. Everyone in the office is very nice as well. Julie and Kathleen have been so awesome, so pleasant, professional, and on top of everything. I've been working closely with Julie and she is the sweetest and so nice. She is always smiling and just has a great attitude. Her communication skills are top-notch. She will always get back to you right away by phone or email. My dog loves it here too and it makes me happy to see her happy. The dog park has 2 sides one for small and large dogs. There is also ample space for my dog to run around. Also, the dog wash is conveniently located across from the park with a sink and a drying station. Their Luxer One package system is so very convenient too. UPS, FedEx, USPS, Amazon, and DHL will deliver the packages to the community center (unless you have coordinated with them to deliver the heavier things to your building) and someone in the office logs everything in and notifies you by email and text message with a code to retrieve your items. Overall, I can see myself living here for a long time and I am so happy with my spacious apartment. I have a 1 bedroom with a den and it is so pretty. When I moved in the apartment was very clean and looked like no one lived in it. The fridge, dishwasher, stove, and microwave are all stainless steel by Whirlpool. I love how big and spacious the kitchen is. You will not be disappointed as there are plenty of cabinets and countertop space. My bathroom is spacious and my walk-in closet is ginormous lol. I couldn't have chosen a better place to live.
Where do I begin? Maintenance requests take a long time to be completed. The first floor of the building floods with heavy rain. The carpet is moldy and hasn’t been cleaned since the damage occurred. The dry wall was ripped out months ago for repairs, but still hasn’t been replaced. Paper thin walls. There are plenty of alternatives to look into, do not move here.
PLEASE do yourself a favor and do not move in here. We moved from out of state & had nothing but terrible experiences including: -Zero Accountability/Poor Communication from Management - Numerous packages being lost in the community on a daily basis (you will get emails about it) - Zero precautions taken during COVID-19 pandemic & still had to pay full rent despite not being able to use any amenities included - Disgusting common areas: stairwells covered in dust bunnies, hallways smell like trash, dog park is so littered we deemed it unusable, lots of construction mess -Nothing gets fixed in a reasonable amount of time. Took two months to replace a dryer, two weeks to call us back about a broken washing machine. Took over a MONTH to fix a broken door -Hot water shut off weekly in the winter -Solicitors get into the building & come up to your door and ask for personal information -Walls are THIN. You hear everything! - Dog owners are terrible. Poops everywhere, and lots of aggressive and ill trained dogs. Clearly there is no vetting process for them. After a year at Springview, it is a breathe of fresh air to have our lease be up. We finally were able to move and PA is finally starting to feel like home.
I was extremely impressed with this development. Aubrey went out of her way to pre approve my dog breed before signing a lease. She researched my questions and quickly got me answers. The entire staff was courteous and professional. I can confidently recommend Spring View and can't wait to move in.
