It is okay. Issues with elevator where as it gets stuck. My oven isn't working as well. Washer and dryer only have 2 working machines for over 100 people.

Need to update amenities. Need more than 2 working washer machines. Need a better kitchen very small. I have hotel rug in my bedroom from when the apartment was previously a hotel.

During the rehab process, all apartments were built with new, modern European influenced features. We fortunately were able to preserve some of the lobby features of the hotel but the building did require the rest to be fully renovated. The apartment is nice. I don’t like the mildew in the bathroom and one of outlet’s doesn’t work. Also the property manager towed my car less than a month living there for parking on the side of the building. However I wasn’t informed that I couldn’t park there. I wish I got a warning letter.

Absolutely not worth what they are charging. The staff is difficult and unwelcoming. There are plenty of better apartments in the greater Hartford area.

The Spectra Plaza community is often quiet which is very nice given how active/loud Downtown can be. The location remains my prime reason for loving the area, along with the cleaning & service staff.

Communal spaces are great, but the shared washing machines are often not working. The kitchen appliances, particularly the stove top and the fact that apartments do not come with a microwave is pretty terrible, especially considering the cost of rent here. The size of the stovetop does not allow for someone like me, who cooks very regularly and likes to meal prep, to cook in a convenient way. It's a problem I've never faced in apartments that I've lived in before which were much more affordable. The stove top needs to be changed period. If a living space does not allow for adequate preparation of meals then might as well stay in a hotel. The carpets in the shared spaces should be changed as well. I think the parking prices are excessive for what you are actually getting.

I love it here at Spectra Plaza. Lots of light with the floor to ceiling windows. The amenities are really nice. Well-built building, nice and quiet. Walking distance to many nice bars and restaurants. Staff is friendly and the common areas are well maintained. This is my first apartment experience, and I am loving it.

Very small units. Kitchen is very small as well. I have outdated carpet in my apartment. Garage is always having issues opening up with key card. Only 1 active washing machine working in the washing room.

Mostly positive experience. Quiet building with great amenities. Friendly neighbors, very little noise complaints. Great location, with quick access to I-84, I-91, and Route 2. Convenient to attend any downtown Hartford events. Property management needs improvement, they’re not very friendly and it takes a few days to get a response. Maintenance is great, quick response time and reliable. Parking is very expensive. Overall a good experience.

The level of the floor on the apartment is not right and theres a tree in front of my window, i cant see anything , the sink on the kitchen and bathroom doest work properly due the level of the floor being wrong

Every person on my floor is quiet and respectful. I rarely have issues with my neighbors. For instance, when we had a fire drill closer to midnight, everyone handled it well. They were calm and collected and walked in a manner that was considerate of others. Ultimately, I felt safe, and I am sure others did.

My stove top doesn't work neither does the oven. The apartment is a bit too small. If it's only one person I would recommend but if not I wouldn't recommend it.

Haven't had any issues. However spacing is very small and there isn't a real closet. Don't know how to use the oven. You can tell the apartment was originally a hotel due to everything being so small. Toilet is very weird too.

Safe and quiet. Walkable to most restaurants downtown. Post office is right down the street. Friendly neighbors and most people in the building are professionals

Very easy move in, staff were super helpful and friendly, very honest about the space as they suggested I tour before applying, which was great because the apartments vary in size and regular units might not be for everyone. The unit I settled on is the perfect size for just me with a beautiful view. Great location for the younger and responsible crowd! Lots of great amenities. A few stores and restaurants within walking distance, the city bus comes right outside of the doors.

The location is great, the rent is a bit pricey as is the rate at which it increases. The amenities are varied and useful! During my time here, there have been a few rent snafus that make me give less than 5 stars, but overall a good experience.

Everything went well....some minor misunderstanding about fees and long wait for storage unit but overall, leasing agents were very helpful.

After a year with Spectra Plaza, I would say that the experience was OK.I think there’s some improvements that could be made. Staff changes all the time... The apartment is pretty nice but a little too expensive. All appliances are quite small making the kitchen and washing situations somewhat awkward. Also Move out charges are too expensive...

The location is wonderful, with the science center, YMCA, river front plaza (just to name a few) within walking distance. Some amenities include a theater, lounge area, gym and parking. I’d say the only downside is that the plaza entrance usually smells of dog urine and poop.

I enjoy living at Spectra plaza! I like my view of the city although I thought I was getting a river view. But overall good so far. 10/10!!!

I love it here. Has a lot of storage and amenities. Leasing manager is great and whenever I have questions they answer immediately. My move in appointment went very smooth as well.

Been living here for years. It’s been alright. I think there’s some improvements that could be made. Staff changes all the time. I wish we had more washers and dryers especially since they tend to break down often and it gets crowded a lot. But overall good.

Generally, there have been a few issues with the elevators, some doors, and a few cases of complexity with the room itself. This being said, the tenants are generally amicable and my living situation is fine. There were some issues with billing and re-leasing, some of which got solved.
