Property Ratings at Southaven Pointe
So I lived here for 3 months I had to move out due mold and when I told him about the mold, they came in and painted over it and then would two weeks of painting over it. It started growing back. So I got corporate involved, and they came in and said it was mildew I don't remember the idiots name but when I said it wasn't mold he kicked the wall and said it was Mildew they also refused to test to see exactly what it is so l just don't think it's mildew and then when I also got ready to move it they took over $2,000 from me all I'm saying is don't waste your time and money here they only care about money and it also takes maintenance two months to fix anything
We have gotten pneumonia from living here several times. Run don't walk from these apartments. The foundation is cracking away, mold is in every apartment whether it's visible or not, and they will blame you for maintenance not showing up to resolve issues. There is a reason the name keeps getting changed. Very sad, whole complex should be shut down.
Poorly run. Management is slow to take action regarding urgent issues. My air has been out for a week with 90+ temps. I can't get anyone to give me updates on when it will be repaired. I have sent email after email trying to get management to update me on the repair. I get no response other than there is a process we have to follow. That sounds like a run around since I want estimated dates. The only way you hear anything from them is if you go to the office. If you call the office, you will get a recording and they might get back with you depending on how they feel.
Misty made the application process satisfying and easy. She was very nice and made sure everything was in line. She's easy to get in contact with and easy to talk too. The property is in a nice area and very peaceful. The management is perfect!!!!!
The staff in the office are very helpful during the whole covid 19 pandemic , they will help anyway they can possible, so when you live here at the Clare you are in good hands. ??
I love living here... Very nice area, close to shopping malls and restaurants. Management is awesome as well. Every time I have a problem they respond fast. Very professional!!!!! I approve!!!!

Since this new company "The Clare" took over there have been so many on top of problems. They lack very poorly when it comes customer satisfaction, my air has been out over a week, my floor has been wet for over two months, I haven't slept in my bed properly for over two because the closet it. There is mold and mildew at the bottom of my closet and a pair of my shoes has mildew on them. Still no Help! But they still expect for you to paid rent on time!

Do not move here since the new company has taken over they do not make necessary repairs my apartment was flooded and instead of removing the wood and the wet pieces they spray painted over the mold that was growing and refuse to make the necessary repairs we have hole in ceiling and damaged walls and molding that all need to be repaired and they won’t fix it

Me and my son have been living in the Clare for 6 months and since they switch companies everything has been awesome. From the management, office clerks to maintenance. They allow you to put orders in online and they have them completely within 24 hours if it’s an emergency they come right away. The community is clean. The Apartments are quiet. It’s very relaxing when I just want to get up and workout around the apartments. I would recommend anyone to say in the Clare. I rate them a 4.8

I just moved here May 2019 and it’s July it has been nothing but problems. They cleared the entire office out and started over with a completely new staff they aren’t any better I’ve complained about water coming under my living floor 4 or 5 times but it has only been documented twice on paper. I have videos of water I have to clean every single time it rains. Trash is all outside the apartments, garbage can the grounds are not kept clean apartments have not been maintained properly. Bottom line do not move here!

I've lived here a year and had nothing but negative experiences. When I moved in the kitchen sink leaked for a month and no one believed me until I made a big fuss about it. The dishwasher basin held water and stank (like mold) for three months and no one came to fix it. Then I went several months without too much problem. Recently the The Clare bought out my complex and it hasn't improved AT ALL. I have been without air conditioning for 5 days now and the ladies in the office haven't been any help. I called to have it fixed and they complained about how often I called and kept telling me that someone had already come out to fix it. They told me that I needed to quit calling so much because "70 degrees inside your apartment isn't bad", when it was actually 88 degrees inside my apartment and only 84 degrees outside. They also told me that I need to understand that they are a new company and that they are going to make it better and that I didn't need to get an attitude with them. I'm pretty easy going and never expected to dislike apartment living so much because I'm pretty easy to please. My recommendation to everyone is to avoid this place at all cost! 0 out of 5 stars
This place is just terrible!!If you thinking about living here please rethink it!!!! Legacy took over about 2yrs ago and it has been downhill every since, Management terrible,the people that are moving in over here are just nasty!,maintenance is always short staffed,and there is no up keep on the property..Counting my days!!
Do not live here! They will tell you to bring this amount of money for this and turn around and lie and say you still owe this just to put money in their pockets!! Liars and thieves!!! Apartments are not even worth the money!!

This complex has a public safety issue! I have lived here since September 2016 and there is nothing but issues. Starting with the fitness area having teenagers ruining equipment to finding condoms in the restroom. Pool area is flooded with teenagers that don't live here and they disrespect you and nothing is done about it! I have called the police numerous times and the courtesy officer never respond. Also never hearing back from corporate about issues. Not a safe environment to live in!

The great atmosphere at Church Lake makes you feel like your in the country but with fast food restaurants and stores right here at you!!! It's the best of both worlds!!!
Our apartment sits on the beautiful lake. It is so relaxing to be able to walk out your back door and sit and watch the ducks on the water. After a stressful day you can't get any better relief than that!!!
A little on the expensive side, but my apartment is nice and I haven't had any major issues. Highly recommend it.
The staff is amazing.They fix any problems in a timely and professional matter.They always throwing events for the residents like movie night at the pool,or donuts day for the kids all around safe and nice place to live.
Church lake is pretty and are good apartments. We have had some problems with the maintenance man not fixing things. But other than that not to many problems.
