It's great! It is a responsive team and has nice facilities. I especially like the gym. The lounge area is usually unoccupied and could be nicer, but isn't bad. The common rooms on each floor aren't great. The utilities and trash is included which is nice. It's great overall!

Really nice except maintenance has been really behind, and my washer/dryer has been broken for almost two months. I'm quite frustrated about that, and maintenance has been unresponsive. No bugs though! That's important to me.

The apartment is almost perfect, nice and well maintained amenity. However, the sink in the bathroom is too shallow and every time using it, the water splashes everywhere. Also the laundry machine takes way too long, about 4 hours, to dry up your clothes.

Good neighborhood with nearby grocery store. Amenities are as advertised. Maintenance is timely. Alot of activites to do in the building with beautiful rooftop.

I really like living here. Quick repairs and staff are very attentive and nice. Packages are always safe in the storeroom and gym on site. Have community events too.

Overall, it’s a nice place to stay with good amenities. I appreciate the convenience of location for a variety of cuisines and an easy commute from work. Very close to a new grocery store that just opened up (Grocery Outlet). There are amenities I would like to see upgraded or added. However, the staff are nice and very helpful.

Good community with friendly staff and residents. Reasonably secure. Close to Penn and Drexel so many students live here and some families as well.

The people who work at the front are absolutely wonderful and often go the extra mile to making sure you feel at home. When I moved I, one of them gave me their phone number and told me to call them whenever if I felt unsafe. When the Amazon lockers were done they also meticulously kept track of everything and would spend a long time searching for my packages. Had some issues with management and signing the lease during the first month which is the biggest complaint. Had move in dates changed at the last minute after signing the lease and accidentally being charged utilities when it was included in our lease. Things have been okay since then though and all the staff are very nice. Amenities for the price and location are great. Fair amount of noise if you live facing chestnut. On top of a fine wine which can bring in some trouble but have not had any issues so far and they have a security guard there.

We live in solo on chestnut for about 6 months. Everything here is good. The apartment has everything we need, like washing machine, dish washer, fridge. We are kind of enjoy our stay here

It's a little out of the way It’s loud outside in the morning. The mattress is too soft at least for me. Others are good. Good facilities, good WiFi, good maintenance team.

Been residing at 4233 since October 2023 and have nothing but good things to say so far. The property is well maintained, cleaned on a regular basis, packages received and delivered all time, and community events are planned, executed very nicely and consistently. Staff is attentive to resident needs and the leasing agent, Mimi, is very helpful, has a very pleasant demeanor, upbeat, and goes above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable and assist you in every way possible.

A little too expensive for the amount of space and location. Service tends to take a while to get if it’s not emergent. The facilities in the gym tend to be broken a lot, but otherwise it’s a nice space to workout. Good overall.

I do love living here with the amenities that are both inside of the building and neighboring areas. But, one thing I was were different are the 2 in 1 washer dryer and sinks. Both are an inconvenience and very impractical. Other than that, this apartment building and some of the staff are pretty nice!

The apartments are very nice. I think they are overpriced for how small they are. I love the gym and study rooms (although the gym is a little lack luster in terms of machine variety but it is a smaller space). The common hallways are not always the most clean. I would do a 3.5 if I could. Staff is typically very good at communication. Maintenance is typically dealt with in a timely fashion as well. I wish the 4125 building had a security guard like the other building at all hours because the fobs are not always the best.

Since I have been living here the management has worked perfectly. All staff are kind and responsive. The trash room is evacuated daily and the whole corridor on all floors is cleaned at least once a week.

The apartments are nice and well-equipped with everything you need. Noise has not been a problem for me so far. A small gym is available for residents which i convenient. The rooftop is a real perk, offering a great spot for relaxation with impressive views.

Staff have been awesome and the building is keep clean. Very close to everywhere I need to be. This is a feel safe environment. I have a feeling of being at home and at peace while being here.

It a great place to come home to, and the staff are super friendly and helpful! The location is great, its really close to the UPenn campus as well as some grocery stores.

The apartment community is loud. People will answer phone calls in the hallways after midnight, not caring about others. Managers change very frequently. Packages are just left around the front desk and the daytime front desk people do not care to put them in lockers or the package room or check if the right person is picking up the package.

SOLO is a modern, clean and safe building. Great place to live! Staff seems a little bit disorganized and sometimes hard to reach, but everyone who works here is incredibly kind and helpful!

I have been living at SOLO now for 4 years. Three management companies later and the building runs smoothly. The common areas are clean and well kept, the maintenance team is always prompt with responses in both cases of emergency and general problems.

The room is clean and relatively newly renovated. Maintenance and amenities are good. With the recent change in management, I wish they could have done a better job in communicating the changes, especially with rent payment. It appears that they did not want to accommodate other forms of payment or delaying payment with their online portal down, even though this is due to the changes.

Those in charge of the building are extremely difficult to communicate with. They are hard to reach, and when you do, they give conflicting information. The apartment seems nice, but it is designed cheaply with cheap materials. Even though all utilities are included, hot water lasts about 7 minutes maximum, the sink fills with water so you can’t use too much water. way overpriced for what is really is

High price, but you can expect to mostly get what you pay for. Relatively close to reasonable shopping chains, restaurants, and college campuses. Well-kept units, good amenities (apart from the inherently weak combo washer-dryer heating), and relatively safe location in the context of Philly.

The staff and amenities are great. The location is unbeatable for Penn students. The construction noise is one of the main downsides. In the apartments, the sound of the refrigerator and AC is also something to keep in mind

I have really enjoyed living in Solo. The studio apartment has everything I need. The location of the building is great, its close to campus, next to a bus stop and a couple of blocks away from the subway station. The people in the front desk are very nice and helpful. I haven’t had any issues with my apartment so I can’t talk about maintenance. Mimi is very nice and responsive. Even though there’s construction right next to the building I don’t hear anything from my apartment (but maybe thats because where it is located) and I don’t hear my neighbors either. The amenities are great, I like that my packages are safe and stored. A few weeks ago they had a concert on the rooftop of the building so its nice that they try and make activities so you can meet the people around.
I would share here in my experience with solo on chestnut , The Management is awful and lazy , and dont respect their deals or promises , They promised me that they will bring a furniture to Apt and they delay 10 days . In addition take-care of deposit , they will find many ways to deduct it unfairly Thanks your god if they return any amount of it , in addition , when you finish your lease they became very rude In addition they have big problem to remove rubbish from each floor and you will see rubbish stock at the corner of floor in addition to its smell . The bottom line : it doesn’t worth its prices at all
Loud, unsafe, overpriced. Management is rude and not helpful. The apartments are okay, but the appliances are cheap. Hot water only lasts for 10 -20 mins at a time and dryer takes 4 hours. Neighborhood not great, lots of strange people loiter outside the building. Packages get stolen frequently. Management won’t do anything about it. Have seen rats although not in the apartments, only in common spaces.
