Property Ratings at Solmere Phoenix
Horrible, worst apartment I have lived in my life. From the start the apartments smelled like cigarettes from day one. You can hear everything including your neighbors cough. If you have an issue with maintenance they won’t come to fix anything that wasn’t just a problem to us but also to neighbors. When they have inspection they don’t knock they only come in so be careful if your showering.. like me. Now for management they will tell you one thing and then do another. We turned our keys in and said we didn’t , now want to charge us for that. Many more major issues… I would not recommend this place to live. Zero stars.

Hi there. We're disappointed to see you leave our community with this experience. At your convenience, please stop by our office so we can work to ensure your experience with us is improved. We hope to see you soon and we sincerely wish you the best in your new home.
Rent is going up 20% over 1 year, and and management told us we should be grateful, it should be more, and that is a discount price. This place is literally rotting from the inside, bugs crawl from the drains, pipes burst in the walls, and maintenance is an oxymoron here, and their idea of "newly renovated" means they just slapped paint over the outside and put in some exterior details. Would recommend looking at least somewhere mediocre, this this complex is definitely below that
Do not move here. They are liars and do not care about your safety or how you feel. Someone came into our apartment without permission or without even warning us. I tried to have a nice conversation with the manager because I felt unsafe and she completely turned the situation around on me and said we did give permission. We would never have due to having a 4 month old. I had left her at least 3 voicemails before actually speaking to her and she said she doesn’t listen to voicemails due to having to run the complex on her own. She said she doesn’t have time to do anything. I tried speaking to a higher up manager and she pretty much said sorry nothing I can do I am taking their side and said I was wrong. My air conditioner has broke 3 times since living here. No one cares. They all stand up for each other but will not listen to the people renting. Trust me.
Trash. Management is even worse, lived here for a year and a half never had problems till now. Constantly see bugs, even seen one in my refrigerator!! and the office has yet to do anything about it. It’s disgusting here.
They lie about their amenities and refuse to fix things for MONTHS until you move out for "your own convenience". Never in the office and their little "be back at this time" lunch clock, CHANGES every 15 minutes. They'll be gone from 12 - 3pm and they sealed their mail slot SHUT so you can't even pay rent. Seriously a low quality place.
I took a tour here, pictures are lying. Filthy place. Smells, too.

I am so sorry you had a unpleasant experience touring our community. We do offer many incentives and none of our residents have complained about the property being dirty or smelly. Although our community is not a new as some others around us, I think our community has improved over the years. Again, I apologize you has a bad experience.
rent is reasonable. i've had very good experiences with the maintenance crew... fixing things the same day i put in a work order and very quick response in the event of an emergency plumbing situation! plus everyone i've met here has been very friendly. i only had a problem with noise once in the 8 months i've lived here. on the down side, i will say, i have seen roaches a few times, but the apartment complex provides free pest control - all you have to do is tell the apartment manager. overall, a good place to live. i plan on renewing my lease here.
I've been here for about 2 years and just renewed my lease again. Friendly environment and friendly people. Old cozy apartment complex.
Cambridge is a great apartment they did a great job on updating the places. To the Constructability of the place, Poor... then again apartments are built cheap for more profit to the owners. After getting settled in to the place it started off great then when college started up again for the ones around me, I experienced a night and day difference between tenants. The floors are pretty thin to the point you hear everything. You can imagine what I'm referring too. From amplified footsteps at 12-2am, to the stool usage, and other things etc. etc. it wasn’t pleasing to hear after doing a long work shift and needing sleep. Doors there seem to be slammed all the time but it’s just the way the walls are built that makes it sound like people trying to open your door. During the winter the windows did give off a draft but I'm fine with a little cold in my place, others you may find it unbearable. Other than just complaining about some tenants to sum it up it is an apartment and if you lived in 1 before you're well aware of the possible obnoxious tenants you'll have to deal with. Mine had the upper hand by being above me. lol I cannot guarantee you could get a good building but everyone’s experiences are different. If you have no other choice but this place request the top floor. No lie... Management team was awesome and wonderful people, maintenance as well awesome there when needed. Tenants?!... The building I was in felt as if I was back in a co-ed Dormitory. Good Luck with your place hunting...
ITS A GOOD DEAL FOR THE RENT. MANAGEMENT IS GOOD AND IT LOOKS REAL PRETTY. I LIVE HERE AND WILL PROBABLY STAY FOR A FEW YEARS.
good price and the place is clean and well maintained. Good service and good neighbors but lots of problems from property next door. All in all, I found a good deal here and would recommend it.
THE RENTS ARE VERY REASONABLE, SO LOW I THOUGHT THE PLACE WOULD BE A DIVE, BUT I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! THE PROPERTY IS VERY CLEAN AND WELL-MAINTAINED, THE PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE REALLY, REALLY MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE THEY WANT YOU TO LIVE THERE, AND THAT THEY WANT TO HELP YOU GET SETTLED. IT WAS REFRESHING TO FEEL WELCOME INSTEAD OF LIKE YOU ARE INTRUDING...
