Skyview Apartments at Carriage City Plaza

This building is nice with a rooftop deck that has tremendous views even to Manhattan. It has a workout room and the management/concierge/front desk staff are great and really nice. The rooms are spacious and the building is set up well with the trash rooms for each floor. It is right across the street from the NJ Transit station. However, for about 70% of the residents, it is fairly quiet. This was a condo building that sold some condos and have now rented the rest out as the Skyview Community. However, it is the owners in their condos that do not need to follow the community rules and get away with doing whatever they want including making loud noises such as banging, hammering or whatever else for whatever reason at any time of day. Speaking with management, they cannot do anything about this and suggest to call the police. Speaking with other tenants, it seems to be 1 out of every 4 have noise issues depending on the floor. I like the place but it is hit or miss with the apartment you get. If it weren't for the noise, i would give this 5 stars but sometimes it is very annoying and unbearable. You cannot go to the tenants on other floors since your key only works for your floor - a plus for security purposes. Oh well, it is what it is.

We lived at Skyview Rahway for a little over a year. We loved the place - spacious, bright, sunny apartment with wonderful NYC skyline view. The management was extremely helpful and approachable. The commute to city was super easy with the train station literally on the other side of the road. Having a concierge that would keep our packages was very convenient. We relocated to MA and were sad to move out of this place. We had a hard time adjusting to our apartment in MA after staying in Skyview.

We lived at Skyview for 2 years. The friendly staff, from the leasing office to the concierge to maintenance, are very quick to assist you and create a great social atmosphere too! Located just across from the train station made it the perfect central location for our needs of both commuting into the city and Rutgers University New Brunswick. The apartment was extremely quiet and we loved the convenience of having a washer and dryer right in the unit. Having a concierge meant that the many packages that we received were securely held which was of high importance to us. Also, the parking garage adjoining the building makes for very convenient parking and the availability of luggage carts to sign out meant that large shopping trips weren't a hassle. We are relocating to Atlanta and are sad to leave this fantastic apartment!

My stay at Skyview was short and I had special requirements. The Skyview staff was exceptionally accommodating to all of my needs. The leasing staff worked with me on my needs. The building staff was always accommodating and responded quickly to any request. The concierge staff was incredibly friendly and always helpful. They work hard to keep you in good spirits by posting news, events, and even cartoons in the elevator. They host special events in the building, inviting local merchants to cater food and drinks, which helps Skyview residents feel like they're part of a community. My stay was short only because I was moving into a permanent home. Had that not been the plan all along I'm sure I would have stayed for a long time.

Our place is historical. It is the largest building in Union County. The view is breath talking on the roof. The neighbors are friendly and considerate to others. Any problems in the building, maintenance is there to fix it. We are in the heart of Rahway right across the train station. We have great places to eat in walking distance. In our town they are building new apartment complexes making the area beautiful.

Skyview in Rahway, NJ provides a luxurious environment with friendly staff. With the amenities of a concierge, rooftop patio and grill, and even quirky facts and trivia in the elevators to brighten your day, it is a great place to live. I am on the search for a new apartment in the King of Prussia area of Pennsylvania and I will be sad to leave my beautiful apartment, but I am at the mercy of a job relocation.
