Property Ratings at Skye at Conway
We moved in last year in December, and overall had a terrible experience living here. A few months into living here the management company switched starting a monthly chain of never ending construction projects. They redid the roofing for a good few weeks, repainted all the buildings and redid the parking lot. Each project causing more issues than the last. Specifically when repainting we came home from a weekend trip to see they had placed a large plank of wood on our glass sliding door barring us from using our balcony for days, and the entire railing was removed essentially leaving a slab of concrete. This was only done on our balcony and was not communicated prior to this happening. The main laundry room was out of order for a 2-3 month span causing us to drag our laundry across the entire property. The water in the building was shut off multiple times a month with no warning, which I can only assume was due to faulty washer and dryers in other units. In September, we had an issue where our trash was not taken for an entire week despite the hefty valet trash fee we paid monthly. It was not until I complained multiple days in a row that it was taken care of. The parking lot construction was a mess, it reduced spots by 50%. Residents were illegally parked making the lot impossible to navigate. At one point they even towed one of our vehicles and were of little assistance in providing information of where to get the car back or why it was towed. We asked for compensation multiple times and were never gotten back to. They also stopped bringing a new air filter to the unit every month with no communication and wanted us to pick it up ourselves but did not notify us of the change. The pool was not up kept in anyway and was dingy and practically unusable. The apartment itself was outdated and dirty. The bathroom shower had mold,mildew and stains I could not remove even with excessive cleaning and bleaching. Overall, I would avoid this place at all costs. There were countless issues we faced that made living there inconvenient and stressful. I felt like I had to constantly go into the office with complaints that was met with no solutions. The two office employees were nice enough but were never helpful in providing information or solutions to any of these issues. I understand how many of these issues were beyond their control but it was hard to be empathetic after the third or fourth issue.

Several maintenance requests have been made, including installing a new washer and dryer that has been sitting in my living room for over 3 weeks. I was told that I was going to be compensated because of this issue and I was not. This is not the leasing agent's fault, this is the owner's fault; they are under-staffed and only care about collecting your rent on the 1st.

COCKROACHES!!! This place doesn’t care about you or anything wrong with your room. Weve had cockroaches for 3 months, mention it to them on a weekly basis and they fail to do anything. Also told us we could park a trailer here then suddenly say it’s not in writing so get rid of it. My advice LIVE UNDER A BRIDGE BEFORE LIVING HERE

The maintenance staff & leasing agents are ridiculously unprofessional to the point of borderline harassment. Only thing more gross than the roaches is the way the older maintenance guy & jess treats certain people within the complex. We just moved in and it looks like someone entered our apartment without our consent and vandalized dishware. I can't wait to leave..and we just signed.
Where do I even start? Cockroaches, washer and dryer breaking and flooding your apartment, non-functioning dishwasher for the first 5 months of living there even after they came and “fixed it” multiple times, broken countertops, horrendous “renovated” paint jobs, broken front door, the list could go on. This was all in one year. You would be wasting your money moving here when you can get something way nicer for a similar price in other parts of Orlando.
First off Conway is a great area to live. The interior of the apartment amazed me. Beautifully renovated,the community offers great amenities. Overall it's just simply perfect.
The ladies in the office were absolutely amazing they were both very helpful explained everything in great detail answered every question I had.
It is a very beautiful and clean community. Juan did a amazing job answering my questions and assisting me with whatever I needed. He treating me with much respect and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. Juan is a great guy and overrall his customer service was one of the defining reasons I deciding on really making this place the number one place I would want to move here.
The only thing bad about living in this apartment where I'm at is the pool parties that keep you up at night when people are celebrating until 3am or 4am sometimes they begin the party at 5am in the morning and it's not just on the weekends or sunny weather sometimes it's during thunderstorms and lightning and people are out there partying
I would recommend it depending on the person's needs. The apartment is very small so would not recommend to a family with more than 2-3 people.
I actually already recommend the apartment to a friend. Because I really love the way I was receive and treated by the leasing professional. Jessy, was super friendly, she pay attention to every single question we ask and answer them super professional. Also, the fact that she is bilingual makes all the process super easy and clear.
I would highly suggest screened-in balconies to help prevent mosquito related illnesses like West Nile or dengue virus. ..I just love eating out on the balcony on Sunday mornings but I might have to just sit out for 5 minutes only.
Very cozy community with a great location. The only drawback thus far were blemishes on the interior walls, but that's about it.
I love this community. The people working in the office are great and the pool is amazing. I love the apartment. Nice size rooms and nice size bathrooms. I love that our little Rusty can live here with us and they have a doggy park. I would recommend this place to anyone.
