Property Ratings at Sinton Flats
My wife and I lived here for a year. The building has a lot of history, theres a lot of space in the apartments, the high ceilings made it feel very roomy. We lived on the side of the building facing the road, so the southern exposure through the gigantic windows really lit the place up --which makes up for the lack of overhead lighting, at least during the daytime. It being an old building though, it does have its quirks. Doors don't close all the way/make a lot of noise when you open them. The bathroom is tiny and uncomfortable. We had a few problems with the A/C unit, and at one point the bathroom ceiling leaked. The cost is in my opinion a little higher than it probably should be. But when you factor in the convenience of the location, and the fact that everything you need is within walking distance, it's not outrageously priced. But that is one of the main reasons we didn't continue leasing into the next year. The area is very noisy. Lots of construction, lots of traffic. The building is also right next to an entrance to the highway, so some people really like to peel out and floor it onto the freeway when the light turns green. Some people also like to really blast their music from their cars, so loud that it shakes the windows. Maintenance can sometimes take a while to get around to fixing things, but they do a really good job. Management is friendly and helpful - some of the best people I've ever rented from. Great place to live. Little expensive, pretty noisy, but we loved the apartment. It's a beautiful space.
