Property Ratings at Shamrock Gardens
They have some crazy rules called 17 Hot Topics which is stupid but it keeps out the the bad people and it's clean. I like the staff, they really care about you.
The outstanding customer service I received from the time I walked into the office is one of the many reasons I choose to live at Shamrock. During my stay here they have been very responsive with repairs and provided great resident events! I would highly recommend Shamrock Gardens to anyone looking for place to call home!

I was out apartment searching and of all the apartments in this area I was drawn to Shamrock Gardens by the beautiful landscaping. Once I drove in it was quiet,I didn't see anyone hanging around and when I got to the office even though they didn't have availability the staff was very welcoming, professional and answered all my questions.
Shamrock Gardens is great! Staff are very helpful and pleasant to work with. There are nice community events and great amenities.
I have been a resident for 5 years. It has been a wonderful experience from the leasing office the maintenance fix things in a very timely manner it's a very community engaged place that take pride in their residents and safety and are very prompt in solving any and all problems that may occur its like living here your on a separate little island .
I moved to Shamrock years ago just looking for something cheap. I ran up on Shamrock Gardens, they were affordable, clean, and safe. I stayed for about 6yrs where I learned the sense of Community. Things for the kids to do, the seniors, really something for all ages to do. The best event I think I attended was an event called National Night Out. Free Food, games, music, and even horseback riding. Had I not grown out of my apartment I would still be there.
I have lived here for a long time and couldn't imagine living anywhere else with how safe I feel . They have security patrol all through the day and APD potrols at night while we're sleeping. They also have APD officers that live on property. The grounds are always beautiful and you never see any trash. The office staff is friendly and alway willing to help if I need copies made or to use the fax machine. They have a nice new playground that my 4 year old son love. If your want a nice, spacious, affordable place to live, Shamrock Gardens is it.
I love this community because...... it's great for my kids they attend the academy they have in the community. The community always clean. The office management is always nice and kind to me and my family. The enjoy living here.
Shamrock Gardens is one of, if not the best apartments i have stayed in. The apartments are clean and free of pest issues. The staff are all friendly and genuinely care about your well being. There are rules in place to keep residents safe. There is round the clock security constantly monitoring the property. Low crime rate in the vicinity of these apartments. The grounds are well kept and maintenance is always being down to keep thing in top shape and working order. The neighbor hood is quite and you don't have to worry about noise keeping you up at night or even throughout the day. All in all Shamrock is a great place to live and i'd recommend it to my friends and family.
I love Shamrock Garden Apartments because of the loving staff. The staff at Shamrock make it their top priority to make sure that the residents have all their needs and wants taken care of. The community is clean, quite, and loving. The grounds of the area is always kept free of trash and litter. Shamrock Gardens Apartments is a great place to lived.
Shamrock is a nice and peaceful community to stay at. The people in the community are really nice and helpful to. Shamrock has been one of the best communities that I've stayed in , in a while. And I love it here.

Shamrock Gardens Apartments are a very well kept and well maintained community. Wow crime has no zip code, the security team is very visible and vigilant all times of day and night. The maintenance staff responds to service needs the same or very next day and always clean up behind themselves when finished. The grounds are park like... landscaped every week and I understand there is a tree planting project that is going to add to the beautification of the community. The management does have strict rules, however in a community this large; rules are necessary for consistency, safety and comfort. There is a daycare on-site as well as a beautiful playground between the management office and mailboxes. Many people write negative comments about a community when they are asked to no longer be a part of it because they could not follow rules. I advise anyone interested in this community to stop by and visit, take a tour and chat with current residence and form an opinion of your own.
I had the privilege of renting a gorgeous apartment from Shamrock Gardens with a view to an open field and plenty of daylight. The apartment was very clean, everything worked, and due to the security, friendliness of neighbors, and its location I and my family felt safe. I found that the rent was reasonable and landscaping to be awesome and well maintained. The management team here is the best one in Southwest Atlanta, they do an amazing job and were available to answer any questions that I had. I really recommend them for anyone who values security, location, and aesthetic beauty. They even have eco friendly appliances and faucet.
I like living here and have been here 4 year. people are good, unit is good, theres a security patrol that walks around. I like my neighbors and office staff. good location and great price. best thing around for this price.

They are nice to me and when something breaks, they fix it pretty quick. everything looks pretty here. I feel safe even though the neighborhood isn't that great but close to downtown for me.
Apartments is updated on the inside and they keep the outside looking good to. No trash on the ground or anything like that. Its nice to come home to a clean and quiet place. I red what other people said about management to strict but I like that they make you follow the rules. I don;t want to see people hanging out at night planning to rob me so it keeps bad people out. people in office is nice & maintenance guys fix things fast.
Clean and safe. 24 hour security patrol and APD officer lives on property. Most of the office staff live on property which I believe adds to the sense of community and caring. There are family and children events monthly. Maintenance is very responsive, the apartment is spacious. The rules are strict put they work!
Shamrock is strict, but that is what keeps it crime free and safe for my kids and myself. It's so quite at night I just love it! The office staff are such sweet people and help out as much as possible. Ms. Debra is amazing! She always has an event going on on the property. Whats the best part is the daycare on site. What a blessing to have right there. I just love this place and cannot say enough good things.
I don't know about anyone else, but I am soooo glad I don't have to pay the water bill here. The price of water is crazy in ATL. I also love how clean everything is. The apartments are your average apartment, but man do they keep everything clean. It's also cool they have onsite security and so many of the office staff live there. I know there won't be many problems for sure.
I visited relatives here a couple months ago and couldn't believe how quiet and nice is was. I know how most apartment communities sound, especially once you've been there but this is a very quiet community, consistently. I think for the price this is one of the best places in Atlanta to live!
I've lived at this residence for a little while now, really pleasant staff, these apartments are older but are really well maintained, the minimal problems I've had, have been fixed by maintenance quickly, I feel safe, the people working in the office are really nice. I'm planning on renewing my lease.
I been living here for about 5 years plus now. And I must say that it has been a pleasant experience. I use to hang out on this side of town in the 1990s and it's nothing like it was then. The grounds are well kept year round and not a lot of people hanging around watching, looking, observing and plotting to do unlawful acts. And probably the most attractive feature to me its quiet. Not a lot of loud music being played or people doing a lot of loud talking around your windows. One of the nicest places I have stayed in during my years.
I have been a resident at Shamrock Gardens for over 10 years and raised my 13 year old son here. We both have loved living here. The staff is always pleasant and very professional and the manager James door is always open to the residents. The maintenance staff is great also. Work orders are done in a timely manner. They have 7 days a week rules enforcement on property that make me always feel safe coming to and from my apartment. There's also a daycare on property that my son attended. It was always clean and colorful and they didn't just babysit him, him really learned a lot. So if you're looking for a great affordable place to live, Shamrock Gardens is it.
Shamrock Gardens by far is a great community overall, the grounds and property are consistently clean and protected by onsite law enforcement daily.A great friendly and helpful staff and a daycare that is conveniently onsite, everything you could ever ask for is in a community is here LITERALLY! From the community center where you are able to use computers for yourself or even get help with your child's homework to the events that are planed not only for children which is great but for adults as well.I mean there are a list of great things that i could go on and on about but those are just a few. This is just not my apartments where i live but its my HOME.
Living in this community, is a tolerable experience. I think that they are very strict which keeps the noise to a minimum. They have on-site security as well. They have an on-site day care that is not well-kept. They have a bug issue and will place you on a spray list for every other Thursday. I suggest DIY but because your neighbors have them, bugs will return. They do give back to the children in the community through various programs. They are not lenient on rent though, it is late after the 2nd. Rent prices are great for apartment sizes. Overall, they place a band-aid over what could be a better, livable home for hard working families.

Shamrock Gardens is the best place to move your family to. It give you the safety of the neighborhood. They have great staff that goes up and beyond to help their residents. They do not allow the violence from the outside come into their community. They have a after school program for kids so they can continue to receive help in areas they are not comfortable learning. They have one of the nicest community with new install bars around the community. I think everyone should at least visit the site to understand how great this place really is. JC
This place has more move in, and move out, I've ever seem, they harrass the tenants, not welcoming after you move in. They pop up at your apartment, not announcing. The laws change very often, felt like been in an jail. The rent is high, for average type apartment. The Management is hard to deal with, not friendly, and often calling tenant into office over petty issues. They are heartless, when they want you out, they do not allow one to come visit friends, or family, who may still live there. They have curfew for adults, not an nice place to live. Always have to be on your toes. never know, when they will do an pop in. I would never refer anyone to this place.Do not forget all the fines, they put on you, they are very, very, strict, main reason for constant turn over. People are treated more like robot, than human beings. Some have expressed, they aren't allowed to have company, at an certain time. The rules are unbelievable,if they feel you do not belong, they will put you out. Another tenant was evicted, and trying to find her new place, before she could get it, her apartment was padlocked, she wasn't allowed to get her things, after awhile, her things were sold. Just horrible, place to live. Security is rude, and mean. Management is not much better. Too strict, and too expensive for what you get. They say the water is free, it's not, it's included in the rent. Nothing comes free. Proved to be an huge disappointment for many, once they know, they move. Lastly, they are known to put judgement on tenants, if they do not move out fast enough. They do not return security either..
These are your average apartment homes for low to moderate income families. I just don't like this community because they are too strict on tenants and they have too many unnecessary rules. You can't sit on the porch after 9pm, really?! Wow.
