The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Settler's Landing
It's not luxury, they will gouge you, there's odd designs such as choosing hot water over A/C that you have to schedule a maintenence guy to change for you. There's a pet waste pandemic, exterior balconies are unusable because it smells like cooking sewage 3 seasons of the year.
First thing; “Luxury Apartments” - if this wasn’t completely obvious it is a total oxymoron, a meaningless marketing term. This complex offers luxury in name and price only. Positive: Fios internet Close to shopping and food options in California and Lexington Park Amazon hub for packages Not so positive: The insulation is relatively thin - standard for apartments - I can hear my neighbors’ general daily activities: music, TV, laundry, heated conversations, and romantic interludes. The air handler is in the kitchen - again this is fairly standard for an apartment, but in peak heating/cooling months it will be on frequently and makes significant noise. The pilot light of the water heater goes out with some frequency due to wind. Maintenance is quick to respond and gets it lit again. The problem is that I discover it is out early in the morning when I have water that is lukewarm at best. My unit faces the parking lot, which is lit up like an airfield. This is easily countered with blackout curtains, but they will be an absolute requirement if your sleep is affected by light. Presumably the lighting is an attempt to curb vehicle break-ins, but these are still fairly common. The appliances, fixtures, materials, and workmanship in my apartment can best be described as “builder grade”. This is an expected reality of apartment living, but understand that there are durability concerns with lower grade materials. I haven’t moved out yet, but other reviews have indicated that they pass on the expense of normal wear and tear to residents upon move out. As for amenities: there is a pool which I never used, a “fitness center" which I used twice before joining a real gym as it is laughably equipped. The latest rent increase is over $200, a more than 10% jump. I can afford the jump, but am choosing not to absorb this cost as the value simply isn’t there.
I spent one year over there. I have no problem, staff is great they took care of the apartment in a fantastic way. Courtesy and Availability is part of their work and that is very important in the community where you live. The external area were perfect, amenities great and I liked so much gym and club house. In case I will need, I will be happy to stay in their apartment again.
Beware of management. Response from the manager herself, IE believes she is above the residents!( I will respond to you as soon as I can, however I do not work directly for you, so I would appreciate it if you stop trying to impose deadlines on me to get you something. I will do my best to get the information you need in a timely manner, while attending to various other responsibilities.) Response from manager not what you would expect from an overpriced and under serviced property. Nothing will happen I am sure. Look around as there is more for your money around the corner in Wildwood.
Come and live in a pieces of paradise this quite community offers everthing from dinning to shopping and even entertainment. 1 2 or 3 bedroom apt. Whatever your looking for settler's landing offers it all. Clean and modern they have alot of amenities pool gym coffee room internet and a whole lot more. This apt. Complex is convenient to the maryland beltway and the District of Columbia. And it is only 3 years old. If you want to live in heaven come live at settler's landing.
